There have been multiple construction issues requiring call backs for the installers which should have been taken care of before the move in. Wall tile was disposed of in the shower drain resulting in a complete blockage and causing water to leak under the shower pan and walls. It has been 4 week waiting to complete repairs. The warranty staff has been great responding to all issues but very frustrating and time consuming waiting for the installers to repair issues.

If you want a Brand new house that you have to fix, buy a Lennar Home. Outside of the lack of craftsmanship throughout the home and garage, there was very little oversight on the contractors during the building process. We would be told that certain things were being done on the home and then find out that nothing had been worked on in weeks. Our home sat for 12 weeks during the inspection process and was failing inspection due to the issues that were there from the initial inspection. Lennar told us that it was making progress until we saw the actual inspection documents that showed the negligence in the build. There is such a lack of oversight and a lack of caring from Lennar because in this housing climate, they can always find another buyer. Phone calls and text messages would just be ignored and then the construction managers would act surprised when the concerns that were brought up became issues towards the end. We have been in our “new fixer-upper” now for over a month and the quality of work is awful. The finishes from painting to actual framework look as if I would have done them myself. Windows that don’t latch, doors that don’t shut correctly, siding that is missing leaving the home exposed, walls where you can see where they were patched, paint that doesn’t match, raw wood exposed, yard that wasn’t leveled, and bowed walls on the third floor (something we brought up prior to the inspection phase) are just some of the issues. If you are buying a Lennar home, expect to put in an extra $10,000-$20,000 after the fact just because they don’t want to do it right the first time and they hope that you get tired of calling them out. They beat you into submission purely by ignoring or delaying their response by weeks at a time. Buying the home based on layout was easy as they look great. Everyone has been great. Love Lennar

When I bought this house, I have been told no co-op (buyer’s agent commission). But recently my neighbor told me they had co-op for the real estate agent! And we almost bought the house at the same time at the same street! It is not fair, builder treats buyers differently!

Overall it was a below average buying experience with a few bright spots (personnel) alone the way. Home was delayed four months and quality was subpar. Upon completion, it seems lennar took many shortcuts on these homes. They didn’t provide basics for homes such as doorbells, lights in the front of the house and basic countertops. This is our second lennar home and our first was way better at a much lower price point. This will probably be our last.

Customer facing staff try to resolve issues but number of issues and quality of workmanship does not meet expectations.

Great experience with all Lennar employees, especially Gina and Alex.

The house was mostly complete when we moved in but they never came in to provide the finishing touches despite requests to finish the job. The sales agents were wonderful, the loan process was okay, but the finishing touches just weren't done.

almost 3 months behind schedule even though all supplies were here, would tell us 2 more weeks so we checked everyday, no one was working on house. When we were told a home inspection which we were paying for could be done work in house was not finished you didn't even have a water meter here. One wall had no electricity at all, we were told it was repaired and it wasn't. So many things not taken care of from final walk thru and house was not cleaned. Not sure what ever happened to customer satisfaction but Lennar has none. Neighbors on both side's had same sort of issues. Nice homes but will never buy another one due to lack of caring if your issues are handled or not. ... More

Kelly, Julie, and Tish were so good to work with, during the building of our home.

Quality of materials used for the houses vary too much from one unit to the other and unfortunately your unit might be the one always getting the lowest quality of all.

House is very nice, but I’ve been in the home about two months and I’m having issues. Too many to list. I’m waiting for lennar to set up “warranty” services. Which these should have been addressed at a QC phase.

Kristi was excellent. Always there for whatever I needed. Same with Vance and Chris.

The quality and design of materials used far exceeds my expectations. I've purchased previous homes before, but Lennar stands out in the quality of materials used.

The beginning process of building with Lennar was overall good. Heather at the model was very responsive and helpful. Once we secured the lot, the building process went pretty much on time and smooth. My HUGE problem with Lennar and probably other builders at this point is that they are building these homes so fast and with crews that are just paid to come in and do a job and not pay attention to details, that the workmanship is terrible. I would Never recommend building with Lennar due to this issue. I paid A lot of money for my house and after 6 weeks of being in my house, have had multiple people out to fix things and things continue to show up on a daily basis. Examples would be carpet coming up, wood trim chipping, cabinets not closing, doors that constantly do not close or open, door handles that stick, AC that was tripped outside, etc. Things have been addressed by the Lennar warranty team however I have Heard too often “due to how fast these houses are going up, it’s not uncommon for this to occur.” I think That is a terrible excuse and certainly wouldn’t let my home buyers know that it is true. The walls are so thin that you can hear conversations in every room upstairs. I have stopped putting in requests for things to be fixed because I am Tired of having to constantly have people come to fix them. That is another thing…sometimes people will show up who can’t speak English and don’t even know what they are really coming to fix. Example is someone that showed up Monday morning without any confirmation of time stating that his boss sent him to paint/caulk one door. He had to show me on his phone because he couldn’t communicate that to me. Then he came in to fix one door when I was Told that they would be painting/caulking all doors that had to be adjusted/fixed the week before. Overall, the buying experience and building was fine but the workmanship is terrible for the amount of money spent. ... More
