At the beginning of the purchase, everything went smoothly and fast. When closing came the house was inspected and a few things were defective. The workers had left broken tiles on the roof some were replaced but not all of them. The laundry room had a bad connecting outlet for the washer machine we had to replace. My refrigerator had no water nor ice coming out they promised it would immediately get fixed here We are two month later and no one has been able to fix it, Apparently the water hose was never connected to the water line under the kitchen sink. The front door knob and garage still ...

Miller Brothers and BNR both do half-crocked work. Miller Brothers break fiber optic cables and home owners are left to get the problem fixed. . They don’t care what they break and Lennar doesn’t help with getting the cable repaired. BNR puts sprinkler heads in our yard that belong to our neighbors and also puts the heads right on the property line. Told the construction manager we were putting up a fence on the property line so they knew not to put the sprinkler heads on the property line, but did it anyway. Construction managers are unresponsive to community members complaints. ...

8 month delay in construction of new home

I originally signed for my home to start construction on March 2022 with a tentative date of completion for October 2022 but the home was not delivered until July 2023. The home itself was delivered up to par in terms of quality and everything so far has been working well. My only complaint again is that the home took way too long to complete, in fact, I visited my lot every week and for months and months, there was no progress made in its construction until about 4 or 5 months before July. When I expressed my concerns to my sales rep he said there were delays in materials and labor, but ...

We are new with Lennar and are thankful to finally have our family home. Took about 3 inspection dates to finally get our house approved. But once it was approved we were not told until our power went out. Since lennar was paying our electricity until the house was finished. We appreciate all that you do but would’ve liked a call once everything was finalized. So we would not have a surprise power outage. When we moved here we did not get a key for our garage door so we asked about getting a new key or a lock that matches our keys. We were told it’d be here in a few days. Well it’s been ...

Getting customer care to take care of issues is a hassle when it shouldn’t be. The HOA is not the best. The amenities are not usable due to HOA rules and not managing the budget properly. The country should be able to step in and do something. They building all these homes but then after you buy you find out that you can't use the gym u can use the pool except for certain days now. It's just not worth the amount you pay in dues.customer service can be improved all the way around from construction manager to customer care.

We went with Lennar thinking everything would be smooth and it turned out a little complicated from the beginning. Had to transfer our contract 3 different times and when we found the home we wanted we ran into some issues with some windows, AC unit, cabinets, concrete. When we ask for these things to get fixed it takes forever for a response.

After a six month delay we are in. The excitement when we first signed contract was quickly diluted by the time we moved in. A lot of having to do things twice. Example, air conditioning vent was damaged yet they installed anyway. We pointed out Bathroom window installed crooked yet they continued to sheet rock and tile only to have to remove the tile and sheet rock to fix the window. We found busted roof tiles, our house had walls and trusses up. On both sides of our house lots were still dirt, yet those two houses were completed and sold before ours. Our construction manager was let go ...

Second time buying a home with Lennar- last time for sure!

Lennar has affordable homes but terrible customer experience. I had the run around with the lender from day one (even lasted after I closed). If you are a person doing this without an experienced realtor, I beg you to reconsider. Your realtor won’t get the full 3% but they will help you navigate the many issues you’ll run into with Lennar’s in house lender. I wanted to go with a different lender but the deals offered by Lennar were better. The quality of my home seems to be fine. And the deal was amazing but I have spent so much money to buy necessities that should have been included. If ...

Lennar New Home Experience

Average new home experience. Upon sale very limited and poor follow-up experience having to chase up, and chase up on outstanding issues and concerns. At times, I felt my concerns were not taken seriously... concerns related to a brand new home experience for very, very poor customer care and follow up experience. Landscaping around the house when I moved in was deplorable and still today 5 weeks later is no better off. The utilities together with Lennar wish not to take ownership of very poor landscaping, that has been heavily torn up. This should be replaced, as I paid for a brand new ...

Poor response once you have an issue that need to be addressed, good response via teams or zoom to explain the situation but a lot of time to get fixed any situation on the property, maintenance department need to have a value stream mapping process in order to understand the response time/ Leadtime for costumer service.

Where Lennar fails is communication. From the day I put my deposit down till I closed (which was about 10 months) I only heard from Lennar when they needed my money. As far as communication with me during the building process there was none..none at all. If I wanted any information I had to call. As far as after I moved in communication did not improve. I would E-mail for information and not hear anything thing back when I turned annoying I was then informed that yes, I received your E-mail but I'm waiting on information. So, no communication at all.

A mixed review -- I'll break it apart to the home buying experience and the post-move in periods. The home buying experience was relatively easy and Lennar's financial team did a fantastic job helping me as the customer understand what's included, what's not, and facilitating all the paper work. The inspections were all ok, we had a 3rd party home inspector check it out and everything seemed ok, no big hang ups. The post-move in period is a different story. After we moved in, we've had a series of problems that are all a part of the warranty, but it's been non-stop and a real pain to ...

After sale Cx service is great and team is helpful however home is poorly built. There is no quality assurance audit before closing it seems. Too many issues- gaps in roof siding, cooktop don’t work, doors don’t seal, window frame broken, secondary water heater unit doesn’t work, sprinkler system has leaky water hose, walls are not straight, no electric outlets in laundry room for iron or vacuum cleaner. Seems like someone walked on Insulation in attic- compressed. Also, we had a water leak from furnace drip pan before we moved in- water puddle on attic floor. 10 inch Metal rod is sticking ...

The sod was laid wet and then the workers walked all over it creating very dangerous pot holes in the shape of foot prints. I hurt my right knee the first time I walked on it. I have to regrade it of course. The electrician has been out twice. Drawers had to be repaired. Had to have gutters in immediately. Lost power twice the first week so I put in a generator. The kitchen cabinets are useless. Having drawers installed. Tore out all the low grade carpeting. Put in a matching floor. The driveway is all pitted with extra cement globs everywhere. They had replaced 1 section but really the whole ...

You must ask many questions before you buy, especially as concerns finishing your garage and material used in the construction; garage is always unfinished and they won’t tell you that, if you don’t ask. The interior painting is cheap water paint; the slightest scratch or water drop on the walls peels off the paint and the slightest hit on the interior walls produce a dent. Drywall not level in all places and they will tell you that they have no warranty on drywalls. Your kitchen area that should be painted with satin quality paint that can be easily cleaned if something spills on it, is done ...

Krista was amazing at selling us what seemed like our dream home. The showing process made the homes at Lennar Johnstown Farms look amazing. Come time to move in and we had issues with title, with mortgage and with the construction of the house. Tolerating everything up to getting the keys was easy to do because we had excitement for what was to come. We made it to the house where things that needed to be fixed, were not. There was paint splatter all over the house on the inside and on the out. Appliances were changed without our knowledge. Overall I think the sales team sold exactly what ...

We are previous Lennar home buyers, and that is the reason we came back to Lennar. We were disappointed with the quality of this Lennar home. There were quite a few areas of poor workmanship and this was disappointing. We have had a difficult time getting a warranty items completed, I feel that the price of the home was high for the quality and the interior features and the quality of the workmanship.
