I was disappointed in the overall workmanship in this house. At one screw in every hinge was stripped and was told you don't fix that. You can see seems in the crown molding but was told that is a homeowner's problem. All interior doorknobs were loose. Poor paint job.

I was so excited to buy another Lennar home. I had a gorgeous 3 story home in Charleston SC. After closing on this house I was highly disappointed. Everything is cheap looking except granite. Cabinets cheap, carpet cheap, roof cheap! Would not let me change anything. Even if I paid cash up front. No lights on front porch. Cheap stick tree in front yard. This house was $360,000!! They forgot a linen closet upstairs until I told them. Then busted out the ceiling downstairs to reroute A/C ducts. Vents put on backwards and no caulking or thin caulking throughout the house. My doorbell already ...

Make certain everything is done right before you sign off with the quality assurance person. Once you sign that and then you close, you have warranty to deal with. Warranty has been horrible to deal with. They can only complete one item at a time. I wish my Home buying experience would have been better.

The workmanship of the contractors is absolutely horrible. It seems like things are just thrown together. We had entire trim areas not painted, holes behind bathroom hardware, nails missing in shower drain and outdoor shutters...etc. This is the second home that we have built, and the final product's quality has been devastating to say the least. It is my hope that future homebuyers experience contractors who want to do their best for every homebuyer and that the building/project manager communicates and evaluates employees in such a way that a culture of excellence is created.

For the most part things are/were great until… the cable from the garage to the house was blocked underground when I moved in. I texted and was able to get it fixed in a timely manner as with most things. But we had a heavy rain and my walkway and my neighbors walkway washed out and sank approximately 10” so far. This has been at least a month ago. According to my Lennar guy this was all His responsibility due to the EROSION caused by the fix of the underground cable and He is going to take care of it. Now I can’t finish the pavers along my walkway and my walkway is getting worse as time goes ...

We were very happy and are proud of where we live. The salesperson Vivian was awesome and helped us with any questions throughout the purchase. Eagle Mortgage we had our fair share of headaches with the rep we had, we felt she wasn’t 100% sure of some of the questions and concerns we had but we fought through it. The workmanship in the build is what’s concerning. We’ve had leaks, walls put up that we’re not measured out correctly, grout that wasn’t filled in, etc. Most of these things were pointed out during the walk through but the construction manager Fernando was very quick to brush it off ...

The fact that nothing was fixed after my closing

I love my home but it has so many little things there were some issues to he fixed after my last walkthrough that just weren’t fixed. I submitted the warranty since they said thats how I had to claim them. They’re parts of the inside of my home that isn’t painted. The outside of my home paint was peeling and was supposed to be fixed that was just never taken care of. They promised me some stuff that they didn’t make it happen. It’s the little things that add up.

Poor follow up. The construction manager and his team must be more important than the home buyers. A customer service manager followed up by telling us to put work orders into Lennar’s website. Shameful.

Communication is an area that Lennar needs to work on. We closed on our house in June. We are still waiting for the garage door to be replaced, it was noted at the closing. We have also had problems with all of the AC units and can't get anyone to call us regarding these issues. We are now receiving notice from our lender that our address does not exist with the San Diego Tax Assessor's office. They do not know who to pay our taxes to.

Constantly moved closing date. When we started closing we were told we must close on the 19th. They kept moving us back to a date of the 31st. We resent multiple documents. Some 3-4 times. Unable to get a hold of maintenance team for repairs.

the loan application with Lennar makes you resubmit paperwork every week. Once moved in, when you have a problem that needs to be fixed, takes about a month or longer for them to even respond and try to fix it. Still waiting on things that need to be fixed. It's been 4 months.

The quality of workmanship exhibited by the "trades" who worked on our home was NOT of a level I expected from a company like Lennar. There did not appear to be adequate/consistent on site supervision/control by the subcontractors utilized in the construction process. While there was a Lennar representative tasked with overseeing the various phases of construction; it appears he had little or no authority to enforce the correction of any discrepancies identified during his site inspections. They don't communicate well. I had to make numerous calls and speak to various people before I learned the real reason why my home wasn't finished. At times I felt that I was being misled until I found people who told me the reasons for the delay.

We closed 4 months ago and I'm still waiting for items to be repaired/replaced. I've made numerous inquires and all I get is stalling. Some of the finishes aren't the best and after you close you have to spend a small fortune to customize the home. Lennar doesn't allow you to do it during construction when it would be cheaper and easier. Next time I will use a true custom builder.

The property management company is an absolute joke. Rude, condescending, and the community managers are always unavailable. I have found charges on the dues that no one at First Service Residential can explain. I am in the process of filing a complaint with Housing and Urban Development along with the Better Business Bureau. The solar company is horrendous. I am currently in the process of filing a complaint against them as well. We have had issues with our A/C, water heater, issues with stucco, solar, and we are now 4, going on 5 months post escrow. We moved in 5 months ago. The day we moved in we were told not to use the A/C until the company could come out and check on it. ?. Two of our kitchen cabinets were damaged. We reported it. Two people came out to inspect the damage. They agreed there was damage. Four months later it has still not been repaired.
