Overall experience was OK. We bought a spec home and we’re super frustrated that we were not able to make any upgrades. We wanted to pay more money and weren’t able to. Very frustrating.

From sales, to mortage, to title, the experience was among the worst ever. These guys are spread thin and delivering below average quality across the board!

There was no last minute surprises. I would have been more happy if Lennar mortgage matched the competition rates. I went with the other. Quality is ok. Lawn grading is sun optimal. Everything included gives Ring System but does not give it installed!!

I’ll start by saying I’m frustrated which in turn makes me angry. This is my first experience with buying a new home I’ve owned several home in the past none new. I was excited at the possibilities. I closed on May 27th and moved in on May 31st. I agreed to purchase my home on Jan. 31st, 2022, I was giving numerous closing dates which proved to be challenging for different reasons none of which matter now. The process with purchasing the home through Lennar was relatively pain free, I had good communications with all the entities even when I got to the final closing it was well done. 11PM at a McDonalds in Deming NM! Now I must vent about my purchase. I’ll start by saying my reported challenges have been addressed promptly. I do feel it’s in Lennar’s best interest to see and understand my frustrations. First the cleanness of the home, the floors were a mess the counters and floors have a sticky substance that is difficult to remove also paint and drywall mud. All of which could have been prevented by covering the floor while they work. I’m 62 years old and for me to have to crawl around on my hands and knees trying to clean the floors and counters is unacceptable (I still don’t have them clean enough) all the surfaces in the home were covered in a fine dust. It would be in Lennar’s best interest if you had a cleaning crew come in before new homeowners arrive with their belonging. I spent an entire day cleaning before my movers arrived. Next is the garage I know not much in the big picture, but the floor is a mess and not easy to clean once you move in. The overall design of the house has its challenges. No medicine cabinets in the bathroom, the kitchen cabinets are small and not positioned in a user-friendly manner, the pantry is to small even for one person, there’s no linen closet. I’ve had to spend thousands of dollars for storage solutions. I guess these are things you need to look for when purchasing a home, we all know what happens when we assume these are standard items in a home. I’ve had a chance to meet some of my neighbors and we all have the same concerns. Next Screens or lack of, I was shocked when I brought it up and was told you don’t provide screens! Who installs windows without screens. I’ve talked to varies neighbors and they received screens They said they had to fight for them, but they got them! The window company Avanti has no interest in supplying screens I’ve left messages twice without a return call. Now for the basic workmanship (deplorable) drywall mud spilled on the baseboard and painted over.Baseboards not finished. Grout repair with mismatching grout. My plumbing backed up after 10 days. The plumbing company responded promptly; it took another day to fix. My front yard had to be torn up the problem was unbelievable Hopefully it’s fixed, after seeing the problem I have my doubts. My master bathroom shower was still not draining I had to wait another day for the inside plumbing crew to fix it. Two days without a working shower. My yard had to be restored. This has happened to others on this street, it can be as simple as running a camera down during final plumbing inspection to prevent this from happing. I’m sure this has cost the company a tremendous amount of money and is another reason you have frustrated homeowners. I understand finding qualified workers is a challenge and was one of the reasons for the delay in finishing the home. Hiring shilled labor, professionals who take pride in there work even if you must pay more would be so worth it in the long run. Its obvious to those of us who have purchased or are renting Lennar homes that the people you hired are unskilled and could care less about the finished product. And that’s too bad. Out of four neighbors I’ve spoken with personally not one would consider a Lennar home in the future. I know I “only” purchased a $300K home but with the attention to detail that I’ve experienced when I’m ready for a $500K home I won’t consider Lennar. My neighbors are a young couple renting for a year to see if the like the area, they told me today they would never consider a Lennar home. Again, too bad because the selling, mortgage, title and Insurance part of your company is good. That’s it for my rant today, I feel with the right people driving the building train and some conscientious skilled labor you could make this a much better experience and possibly have repeat customers. ... Beutiful homw, great quality, finally found my forever homw!

Overall, the house buying experience was great but it was annoying at first when Lennar transitioned to a bid form for each release. Additionally, the house construction was extremely delayed but Lennar did their best to make us aware of the upcoming schedule changes and reasons why. I loved knowing that I was getting almost everything I had seen in the model home minus some minor changes due to supply chain issues. I wish we had been made more aware of the material changes so we could request an alternate (not a fan of the lights in my kitchen that were installed versus what the model house had but oh well..) Lennar has been extremely responsive to issues we have been finding now that we are living in the house so that is amazing. Bought sight unseen. Never received alarms/internet stuff. Had to ask after we moved in. A/C didnt work, garage door opener doesnt work, tiles are cracked, dryer smells like its on fire. We have a long list. We have a virtual meeting today and still havent received an email about how that works

We had an overall great experience with Lennar. Closed on time and no major issues with house in past month. Matt in sales was great as well as Brandon and Cason on the construction side.

Pretty painless process working with Lennar once we got all the paperwork that was requested They were there to help and assist the whole time House looks great and a quiet area

This was the second place we purchased at Heritage. I was pleasantly surprised that the walk-thru was clean (unlike our coach home). However, during construction, someone failed to tighten/glue/affix the plumbing so the condo flooded. It was fixed quickly and timely and the rug was replaced but... it was clearly a big issue and something so easy to be done by the contractors.

...when it six weeks to replace door locks that have never worked.Had to use garage door to go in and out.When duct work f/ ac is missing-never installed!I'llstop here before you think we'resdissatisfied...

Positive experience with sales department though annoyed with constant price increases during discussion period. Experience with mortgage division very frustrating. Most trade work par for production home. Brushed paint and caulk work done on site is marginal at best. Warranty performance good so far.

We were really excited to buy this home for our family. This is our first home that we have ever bought. The process of applying for a loan was easy, where things began to fall apart is the lack of communication between all the different areas of the company. I felt like I was doing all the leg work. And to make matters worse, the closing of our house was moved 7 times. Sometimes we knew about it a week in advance and the last few times it was literally the day before we were to close. We moved into our home with not having a final green inspection done, (it had been done, but something failed and they needed to reinspect). Then there was no communication when the final reports were sent in so that I can change utilities into my name. We woke up to having no water at our house and no one letting us know the final reports were turned in. We have a medically fragile daughter and it’s important for us to have our utilities running. From the start the person we connected with we had poor communications with she never returned or answered calls. This also goes for the loan agent Trisha Ayala was TERRIBLE. The loan processers were all TERRIBLE. Very poor communication and not trust worthy not honest. Would never recommend them or to anyone wanting to buy a house.

Buying my house was easy … so many inconveniences moving in. I wasn’t told about all the construction that was and is still going on. Workers & other vehicles parking on the street inhibits coming and going. Window part had to be replaced and the front door lock does not open using “Level” auto lock. Painting was being done even as I was moving in. I will say, however, Steve and Gavin have been most helpful.

I was very pleased with the level of communication and responsiveness that Lennar showed during the building process.

Appliance Issue from start and had to go through warrenty to get it fixed.

not my first rodeo, by far the worse experience in the history of purchasing. home was actually not completed when we moved in. CO provided, not sure why. Would NEVER recommend. just absolutely horrible. NOT going to include any of the names, first or last since noone has bothered resolving issues that i've experienced. ONLY person that has responded after finally having access to her is Suzanne Witty. She is the only assett here. everyone else, doing more to damage then good to LENNAR.

Everything was awesome!! Brian and Sherry were super specials in the process, 100% recommended.

The homebuying experience was perfect; Jamie was beyond expectations. Rob has become involved to ensure that the quality of workmanship and materials that were issues have been resolved or on the pathway to resolution. Carlos has also been very helpful.

My wife and I have never had the experience of building a new home. Our experience with Lennar has been so very good. They answered all questions honestly and quickly from the outset. They kept us abreast of the progress in being made through the communication with Debra and Vince. After moving in, our issues were addressed promptly and efficiently. For us, we valued the fact that we had to make no decisions about counters, flooring, bathroom tiles, or anything. If you want that, Lennar is not for you. For us, it was the right fit and we could not be happier with the final product.

Lincoln was great in resolving punch list items.

I been thinking about weather I should or not write a review but as I get to know my neighbors and we talk about our experience I think I should. Our closing experience in both the construction and financial aspects was not ideal. The construction manager was not very helpful and the quality of his work was not up to par. We have been constantly submitting claims for repairs. Builders excuse to things not getting done at closing was “because of COVID the trades are not as good”. I tell you the prince of a house has not declined but quality sure has.

Good morning, we recently purchased a condo in Lakewood Ranch and I wanted to send some positive feedback related to Arthur, Carly and Ron. They were available to answer any questions and their response time for any questions was very timely. Especially since we were out of state ! Thank you for making this process seemless.

My wife and I decided to buy a Lennar home. We decided to wait 3 months for the house to be completed. During this process we were told that everything on the inside of the house would be completed by closing. When we had our celebration day, it was far from a celebration. There were many items on the inside of the house that were not completed as promised. There seem to be very poor communication between that sales rep and construction rep. Our construction rep did not even know the proper closing date. We have now lived in our house for about 50 days and still can not get answers on when things will be done. The construction rep just tells us that we should get a call or email to schedule it. When we have had work done, it has been less then professional. We have had a family bring their kids to do work on our house multiple times. It was very low quality work. It would be very difficult to do professional work when 4 kids ages 1-12 are at work with you. It was very sad for me to see. It is not fair for us as homeowners and the workers either. The workers not only did bad work, but they also splattered paint all over and did not clean it up. When I tried to communicate with them, they told me they do not speak English. It has been so frustrating trying to get our house completed. We paid a lot of money for a new house and are not getting the professional work and coordination we paid for. We are having to schedule things around our schedule or miss work to get our house finished. Had I of known this would be the case, we would have considered other options. Had they have been honest with us about the process, we could have prepared differently for what was to come. I would not recommend Lennar at this point. Maybe that will change when my house is completed, but I am sure. ... More
