Well, we had great expectation when we purchased this house but after so many problems we are pretty disappointed. House looks nice but the quality of the construction is bad. Cheep material and sloppy installation. / Off level floors, nails popping out, broken windows, shower floor accumulate water in corners, interior doors don’t close properly, they have big gap under, bathroom faucet is touching the backsplash so it is difficult to clean behind, landscaping is nice only around model home majority houses have lots of ornamental grass , playground is a joke - beach volleyball court ...

Get everything in writing. Don’t trust your sales person as they are not always told what the corporate decisions are and seem to be the last to know.

While Lennar may be fairly easy to work with to resolve problems, I feel there shouldn't be as many as I've encountered. Unfortunately I bought rather late in this community and it seems as though the builders were in a rush to get done. This shows in some of the sloppy work that was done and things that were caught in the final walkthrough. Some of these weren't corrected before closing and some seem to have fallen off that list altogether. Now I'll have to deal with them under the warranty.

The way the house is built, you’d think you were getting a $150k home but it costs you $300k+. Unfortunately the people doing the work do not care about their quality of work and unfortunately the Managers who are supposed to oversee the work are either not here or don’t have the experience to understand what’s wrong. We didn’t know the questions to ask but now that we know, we wouldn’t build with this builder again.

I would encourage any other home owner to get a pre-dry wall inspection and a final inspection. Also, don't move in until things are complete. There are alot of quality issues regarding the quality of the materials especailly the cabinets. The Customer Service Rep and Sales Person was the greatest experience of our purchase.

Very poor communication from our sales person, always evasive about when our home was going to be released for purchase as it was a model. We were forced to put reservation on home after we were told it was available to purchase. The day it was being released for sale we suddenly had another reservation, we then had to offer more money to get the home. All a game to get more money. We felt we were not treated as a valued customer but more like an inconvenience.

The mortgage process is absolutely ridiculous - the homes are missing insulation - the appliances they put in are sub-standard old - they take away items that should be included every time they raise the price & the houses for age restricted communities are Not Senior friendly I.e. they put cold air returns on the 10 ft. ceilings & not where they can be changed!! Only good thing I can say is in my community the team responsible for repairing little items is good!

Lots of issues (initially) getting any response on warranty issues. Contracted company that manages the HOA and Club is COMPLETELY unresponsive. My wife and I have made a total of about 10 calls or emails and have not gotten a single response. NOT ONE. I've had to go to the office (twice) to get a message to them. In this case I have gotten a response but it's always a partial response. Follow up emails go unanswered. Our home buying experience had some ups (our sales rep, Denise, was great throughout & we got 2 unexpected upgrades) & many downs. The downs started when we were informed that features labeled on Lennar's documents as "optional" were not available or selections became unavailable during the selection process. The house is well insulated, but the lightning and bathroom fixtures need to upgraded. Who ever you are using to finish the yard need to be replaced, because the grade of the back of the house could have been done better, and they just throw the sod down.
