The purchasing experience was great. While the house was under construction though was not so good. We had a couple issues arise that were not addressed properly and then we were ran around in circles trying to figure out what was going on. Then the week before closing we did a walk through and it was a mess. Things were not finished and needed a little more work. This should have been a finished product but was not. They said it would be finished before closing but was far from finish at closing. By far out of the 3 houses we had built this was the worst process we have been through. Total ...

Our last few homes were of much higher quality. From thin paint (areas you can see the drywall), to cheap fixtures and materials to Lennar dropping the home automation (wireless thermostats, ring cameras, etc), backyard paver patios & grills - they were certainly looking to maximize profit and finish out the neighborhood (we were one of the last homes built). Would likely not buy another Lennar home.

It would have been nice had someone told us before we bought here that 85% of the development were investors. Would have looked somewhere else for sure.

GE cooktop is one worst appliance, despite of poor reviews , lennar went ahead and installed it, the knobs are made of plastic and it's hazardous. Paint work is poor, weird sounds from ovens and AC filters(ghost sounds).

The quality of the home is marginally OK. One doesn’t really notice things until after move-in, but then you start to notice the defects. We haven’t gotten a timely response to a couple of warranty issues. The price was good and we’re happy with the location.

The paint peals off. I have a couple doors that really need to be changed and I’ve already submitted a request and had the virtual meeting but nothing. On almost all cabinets the screws were pushed in too deeply that they cracked the wood. Almost all screws. The paint is the most disappointing because I’ll have to repaint EVERYTHING.

I was told to contact Joe with issues. I let him know my dishwasher was leaking. Joe was so amazingly helpful that he told me to stop using it. I am not making that up. That was the end of his assistance. I explained there was a pile of drywall, a tarp and debris in front of my garage door. After a week, most of it was cleaned. Amazing, Lennar!

Lennar is definitely the place to get a good bang for your buck, but be prepaid for any issues to not be resolved. They’ll tell you X is going to be fixed or is on order, but then X will magically disappear and never be repaired. All of my trees have fallen over and had to be ripped out including having many electrical wiring issues in the home. The floor plans are nice and they do include things like blinds that other builders done include so that is a bonus given the issue I’ve had to deal with

Communication was not the best. The morning of closing, was told we might not get the home due to documents that were needed and not told to us until day of closing. Did not get a lot of information from Lennar rep. Thing that are supposed to get fixed still are not and can’t get ahold of correct person to do so. Will recommend due to beautiful homes but will no recommend due to lack of communication

Paying 200k plus for a home, you'd think there would be more attention to detail from the builders. A lot of things I've found could have been addressed prior to me even seeing the location. Beautiful home, but a lot of finishing touches were lacking.

Lennar needs to improve the supervision on the third party company’s use to build their houses, since the standards are low to my point of view. They need a better QA team.

The buyer ends up purchasing what Lennar wants you to purchase and not necessarily what you want to because of their restrictions on color, location, model, interior finishes, etc.. In our case, the closing was sloppy and not very informative, the washing machine crapped out right after we moved in (the included GE appliances are extremely bottom of the line), the Lennar Warranty link was consistently broken each time we attempted to file a claim, and the only people that seemed genuinely interested in helping were the salesman (Ryan) and the Construction Manager (Ed). Too many issues take ...

This house was definitely built for renter. Everything is cheaply made. Toilets started leaking, fridge has broken parts, front door is missing weather strips. The buying process was terrible. Lender and seller were not in tune with the community they were representing. The only reason I stayed in through the process was becuase they made eme put down 10% and would not return my money if I walked away. Never again with lennar

We do love our new home. However, the communication during the build process was less than ideal. And, when closing day came, we never received a proper walk through or warranty explanation. The Contractors were here and the Lead was here but they were too busy trying to finish the house that they forgot to actually speak to us. We still have a few outstanding issues. Our current "Director of Construction" has been by the house to see what he can do to finish up. Hopefully this works... I do have an issue with the driveway and the area between the garage and the house. - The ...

The frame is decent although you need to watch them and stand up for yourself. Finishing work is ok. Trim is rough in spots, painting is ok if you like having paint on your carpet. They do clean it but I have never heard of the carpet and finishing going in before they do the painting.

The initial purchase was ok but the closing, walk through and repairs were horrible. The closing was held up over 30 days and then we were rushed into closing. Lost mailbox keys for over 3 weeks. There were a lot of sloppy small repairs(poor painting) needed in the home and a few major things that required fixing. This is my 2nd build and my 1st home far exceeded the Lennar experience. Lennar builders put more emphasis on speed instead of quality of workmanship and materials. The positive I love the ranch style lay out and the open floor plan. We are settling in comfortably.

I enjoyed working with the sales agents. They were knowledgeable, transparent, and responsive throughout the buying process. Although I had a great experience in the beginning of my home buying process, I’m not happy with how my home was delivered to me. The workmanship was not good: drywall seams/patches were visible, the paint job was mediocre, nails popping out of the walls, bad carpentry (even our movers commented on how poorly the walls and ceilings were). I believe the project managers bank on the one time drywall service to fix these issues, which is not fair to homeowners. It’s ...

What we thought would be a simple buying process as options are already picked. However, the quality of materials and parts is subpar, builder clearly does not do thorough inspections before closing to ensure all items are working. Submitted 23 items for repair after moving in. 2 months since closing and only 8 items have been resolved.

When buying a new home it’s expected that everything is in good shape. With this build it seemed like everything was rushed. A lot of build issues and things that needed to get fixed. Certain things were pointed out and still didn’t get fixed until the second time around. Overall disappointed it’s a new house so I expect things to look good. The cabinetry is very cheap and the overall quality isn’t to good. When you chose lennar your choosing quality and that’s not what I received.

We are a second time buyer with Lennar. The quality of craftsmanship this time around is shockingly bad. The amount of items with have requested for repair is countless and while our representative does have people come out to address them, the folks coming to repair tell us they are not the right person and nothing gets fixed. The floors and stairs are creaky, every baseboard is damaged, our sink is scratched and damaged, there are huge stains in our concrete- it’s just bad craftsmanship.
