Lennar - The buying process was smooth, Lennar was involved in every aspect

The buying process was smooth, Lennar was involved in every aspect of the buying process, including getting a Mortgage and the closing. From that part I am happy on how everything worked out. In regards to the house, we were told a date when we would be able to walk the property to see if everything was in good shape. They said that we could bring a home inspector so we hired one for the date Lennar told us. A few days before the inspection Lennar told us the date was postponed 1 day so our home inspector couldn't come with us as he could not accommodate that last minute change. We then ...

The sale was easy but the workmanship & follow-up is very disappointing.

Our home buying experience had some ups (our sales rep, Denise, was great throughout & we got 2 unexpected upgrades) & many downs. The downs started when we were informed that features labeled on Lennar's documents as "optional" were not available or selections became unavailable during the selection process. We were also disappointed when the construction manager told us things the contractors would do (like screw down the nailed 2nd floor subfloor & sweep concrete before flooring was installed) that weren't done or not done adequately, causing squeaks & popping sounds under the finished ...

All in all was an ok experience. Preferred Lender was horrible. Come to find out the HOA for the community is terrible and there is random kids in the neighborhood vandalizing things.

The house is great, but after 4 months living in it, I still have unresolved issues. I've gone through 2 construction managers and 1 supervisor, and at this rate, I have no idea the status on anything... quite frustrating.

Lennar - The house is well insulated, but the lightning and bathroom fixtures

The house is well insulated, but the lightning and bathroom fixtures need to upgraded. Who ever you are using to finish the yard need to be replaced, because the grade of the back of the house could have been done better, and they just throw the sod down.

Jaime was great to work with during the buying process. At closing, there were many items that needed correction like painting, wrong windows, landscape issues etc. I was working with Brian, the construction manager for our home. I had to keep reaching out to get him to come check out the issues. He came multiple times to inspect the same things. Weeks would go by without follow-up. Landscape was addressed poorly weeks later. It’s been almost 2 months since our last communication. I still have the wrong windows in my bathroom, among other things. I’d like to give zero stars because of ...

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was somewhat understandable that their office was limited interacting with their clients; however, it was very difficult getting to them for questions we had while trying to buy and close our house with Lennar. They were always late responding to our emails and phone calls. We had to try multiple times to get the answers we need in order to move on to the next step. During the last few days while closing the house, it was hard to contact them with questions and to find out the status of the closing process. After we moved into our new house, the customer ...

Things discovered in walkthrough were not fixed in final walkthrough. It was dirty and there was urine in our sump pump. This is just the tip of the iceberg. I’m so exhausted and stressed with the entire experience I’m sick of talking about it and would rather not relive it.

Buying a home here has been a lesson in the difference between "sales promises" and actual workmanship. While the brochures highlight premium selections, the execution is fundamentally flawed. The most glaring issue is the rampant screw pops throughout the drywall. By definition, workmanship refers to the quality of skill and care applied to a task. When screws are overdriven, spaced improperly, or misaligned with studs, it is a textbook workmanship defect. These aren't just "settling" issues; they are failures in the installation method that should be covered under any standard one-year ...

I’ve come to realize that the overall build quality with Lennar has been very rough. As a first-time homebuyer, this experience has been extremely disappointing and, honestly, it will be my first and last Lennar home. Buying a home comes with so much excitement and sacrifice, and it’s disheartening to feel that future homeowners are not truly cared for. The work feels mediocre, and while this is my honest opinion, it gives the impression that the focus is more on volume and commodity than on the people who will actually live in these homes. I’m very disappointed, but I’ve learned from ...

I purchased very illusioned with the new house, the pretty features, the "warranty". Zero Defects was a fallacy. The "Call us anytime, send us all your questions, if you have any problem" was another lie. Nobody returns my phone calls, emails and the H.O.A. blames Lennar and Lennar blames the HOA. The Lennar loan was immediately sold off to a third party. Within a month, the house started having problems and nobody responds. The water does not come out hot, the roof and gutters are extremely noisy when it rains, the blinds are of the worst quality and some are lopsided, the carpet was ...

I have been lied to by almost everyone associated with Lennar. Starting with Lennar Mortgage to the new construction manager at the 3 final house walkthroughs. Promises made promises broken. Even the warranty process where cases are closed when parts on order take longer than Lennar likes. And another created when work scheduled and closed again when work not completed. Only to be resubmitted again and again. Who are you fooling? Not me. Lennar get your act together.

Overall the sell representatives are really nice and very professional but unfortunately I can't say anything good on the construction side . The supervisor doesn't commit to his roll on supervising his construction manager. The construction manager really need a better training when it comes to delivering the quality products that Lennar offers.Construction managers all they want is not make you sing off on there release to close title and don't care about the quality always very denial on everything we point out that need to be fix. So my advise to all new buyers is make sure they listen ...
