Purchasing a house at the preserve was one of the best decisions I ever made is a great house on a great location. The house quality is fantastic and I’m very happy with what I purchased.

The bottom line is that if other buyers had been offering homes similar to the Next-Gen model that Lennar was constructing, I would have easily chosen a competitor. My experience with loan officer Jodie was disappointing; she lacked a customer-friendly approach and often communicated with an unhelpful attitude. As a first-time homebuyer, I needed guidance, but she failed to take the time to explain the necessary documents. My realtor had to repeatedly reach out to her for clarification on my behalf, which made me feel like an inconvenience. Instead of addressing my concerns, Jodie simply canceled my loan with Lennar, despite my full qualification, prompting me to seek financing from an outside lender, where I had a significantly better experience. On a positive note, Rebecca stood out as a refreshing contrast within Lennar; her professionalism and exceptional customer service were commendable. My realtor with Lennar Rob was incredibly dedicated. He stayed up late and went through every community to find me a home. However, after Rob left, things became subpar and stressful. As a first-time homebuyer, I thought going with one of the largest builders would make the process seamless. I assumed they would have everything figured out. There was a severe lack of communication. I work a demanding job and would receive emails in the middle of the night, telling me I had 24 hours to sign 30 pages. There was no communication about the next steps. I expected a timeline or a one-pager outlining what to expect, which documents would come my way, but I received none. Reaching the finance guy was like finding a needle in a haystack. I was disappointed. When I moved in, I noticed that things weren’t done to the highest standard. They even tried to hide the mistakes they made. My windows had gaps, allowing cold air to enter, and my walls had to be ripped open. The washer they installed cracked the pipes inside, and I mentioned this before closing, but they claimed they fixed it and didn’t. I had a long and frustrating process with the warranty until it was proven that they broke it and then they replaced it. I was confused about my payments. I reached out to the finance guy, but it’s been a month, and he still hasn’t responded. I had to get my island replaced because they chipped the first one and still chose to install it. My master shower doesn’t have a shelf they did the bare minimum with these homes. I mentioned the backyard during closing, and now I have large gaps where someone can trip between the sod. They did a terrible job. You would think that given the amount I paid compared to how much they spent on the actual construction of the home, they would have done things in order. I still have tiles that need to be replaced, and the backyard needs to be fixed. I am disappointed. Unfortunately, my experience with Lennar was not great. They took away my happiness. When it was time to close, I was exhausted mentally and emotionally. I wasn’t even excited about buying my first home. Lennar needs to hire consultants and undergo a complete revamp. Any company that wants to remain on top should always be seeking improvements. It’s time they did. The best experience I’ve had thus far is with Lindsay from customer service. She has been rectifying all the wrongs. If they hired more Robs and Lindsays, this company would be a better place. ... More

Closing process very rushed once sales agreement was signed. Walk through inspection prior to closing was rushed several items regarding construction of the home were not complete. Final closing fees were excessive.

We are very happy with the home we purchased. We are now in the process of making it our home. They build the basic home that is wonderful to build upon and make it a special place and not a like cookie cutter home. But I have to admit, you will laugh out of control when you see the 2x2 patio they give you.

Our homebuying experience with Lennar was poor from start to finish. The quality of workmanship and materials in my home has been disappointing. Since moving in, we have dealt with multiple issues that should not exist in a new home. It feels like cheap materials and shortcuts were used throughout the build. I was misled about key details, including countertop material and sealing, which I had to fix myself. This made me question the company’s trustworthiness. For the price we paid, the value was subpar. The house looks decent from the outside, but the construction quality does not match what we were told or expected. When it came to issues after closing, Tiara was the only positive part. She handled complaints professionally and provided support when most of Lennar would not. If not for her, our experience would likely be much worse. ... More

Very easy and professional experience

Was not able to purchase, very pushing technique, asking for the full down payment upfront as a deposit with the risk of loosing it. I'm use to down payments being given at closing

I've been without a working dryer for a week now. I submitted a list of 7 things I need to have fixed repaired. Nada.

Terrible sales staff. Frustrating trying to get response. We bought because we wanted the home but process was terrible. Be prepared for frustration, changing prices, pressure to make deposit without firm pricing.

We truly like our new home. However, the process of getting there was a little rough. The loan process - really bumpy, then they sold our loan. The responsiveness to issues with the house, and there were several, has been slow to resolve and have had to keep after them to get some of the items fixed.

The price of the house was good, everything else was mediocre at best. Craftsmanship was sub par, many issues im still dealing with 2 month later. Brand new washer leaks, fridge is dented from whoever installed it, finish carpentry is poor. There are hidden fees they don’t tell you about, like the service area assessment fee which is 274 a quarter! Buyer beware! Do your homework.

Had a major water leak the 2nd day after moving in. The drywall, cabinets baseboard and kitchen floor had to be replaced. Lot of air leaks makes the house uninhabitable on cold days..

My wife & I visited a lot of 55+ communities between SC-NC-FL & GA. We focused only on Moving ready types of single family homes. The models by Lennar captured our heart as the floor plan matches everything we were looking for. The Master Bedroom, the 2 guess rooms, the open kitchen & living room space were perfect. The key room was the dining room as it was big enough to fit all we had from our home in NY. They used good quality materials and offer an excellent warranty package for both indoor & outdoor. I strongly recommend others to spend the time and visit the place. My wife & I can't wait for the club's grand opening so we can start enjoying it. For us, it was a blessing. ... More

Thank you lennar for the trust. I've exposed all my situation and you made it. Have a such amazing experience on buy house is something that you guys own it. From showing the models, negotiating the mortgage and walk way down all the process was simple easy and black and white. The only point you guys really need to improve is the final support when we found issues. This means, you guys need process and customer service which really follows what is happening. I had some issues and everytime when I reach out to your guys, took way too much to be heard and the problems solved.

I am very disappointed in the fact that we addressed some issues around the house annd the yard and we were told they would be taken care of, but they were not. It is sad to buy a new construction home and to have things not taken care of. This was not what we expected.
