My home was purchased through Cal Atlantic but finalized with Lennar. We chose a Chef Kitchen and we selected the granite counter top for our home. The vendor chose defective granite for me to select and gave me the impression the spots could be buffed out. To my surprise the spots remain I had the situation noted the answer I received was not what I expected . (I chose the granite and sign the form) I attempted to have the situation ruled in our favor a second time and received the same answer. After buying the home we had items that needed to be fixed. Our home rep Tom would never respond to our concerns or give us times when we could expect things to be fixed. Only after three emails asking him who was above him that we could talk to did he respond to us and after 4 months the items got fixed. Three of the contractors that had items that need to fix just showed up with out giving us appointment. Luckily my wife was home each time and we were able to get be work done. I do not feel Lennar has the owners as their priority or main concern. I feel that that "no" is the first response to most requests. Definitely do not feel that Lennar has gone out of their way to make sure I was a satisfied owner.

Not what I thought I was getting

Need to slow down the construction a bit and put a little more pride in the build. After purchasing my home I began to see the “quick fix” repairs around the house. Also do a better job with the fencing. There are three different fences in the community. It looks tacky.

Walk through is rushed and it's obvious no one from Lennar walks the home before closing. Was told floors would be cleaned but 3 months later I'm still unable to get white paint off the floor. No help for that or significant cracking in door frames and baseboards because that apparently is cosmetic. If I could do it all over again I would insist on a 2nd walk through and be more diligent to ensure issues were fixed before closing.

I wish I had better things to say about Lennar. We were rushed into closing on our home when it wasn't ready. It was presented to us filthy. Took us literally almost a month to get everything clean inside. We've had floor joist problems where the floors bounces when you walk on it. They added a support wall in the basement which did help but my brand new home should of had proper joists installed in the first place. The concrete company they use is awful. Our driveway is the worst I've ever seen. It's overworked, pitted, cracking/chipping and looks terrible. They're supposedly working ...

Buying a home to Lennar you have to have a lot of patience, don't trust everything they say, specially time frames to fix things. Be extra cautious. And very detailed oriented at the time of closing as there will be a lot of things wrong or missing in the house. You'll have to take a lot of work time off to attend to all submitted warranty request. Also, pay close attention to the roof, rainy season just started in SW Florida and there are more than 5 recently built homes with tarps on their roof. Cheap materials used throughout the home. When I bring issues up in the 1 year warranty, I’m told to wait until it’s closer to 1 year of being in the home before submitting problem tickets. Just overall bad experience. Will definitely go with a different home builder for the next home purchase.

We asked for a previously offered counter top, Granite, in our master bath. You would have thought we requested the holy grail. they acted like they "might" be able to do it during the 9 months build time but ultimately didn't get it done. I have expressed my disappointment over this issue multiple times with Lennar.......no response or follow up, they don't care. Love the home, don't like the service.

While I do love my house, I've had several warranty issues come up that remain unresolved with no action plan. Lennar was great up until I closed on my home. Since then, it's been a struggle to get answers on when and how my issues will be fixed.

I really enjoyed my new home up at the amount of repairs needed and the timing is not responding from the associates was unacceptable this is a new subdivision and I have heard several complaints from my neighbors as well

My first time homebuying experience has been harrowing. It had taken four months for my driveway and walkway to be laid, and I'm still waiting on the landscaping. I get most of the process is weather contingent, but I've seen other homes around me completed and the owner have yet to move in. It has been an inconvenience having to park on the street with limited parking. I love my home, but the process has been exhausting.

Closing was a nightmare, the date was later than planned due to no street lights being in the development. This cost us thousands of dollars in rent and a double-move. At closing the company that handled it could not give us permission to enter the house that day because they needed one more e-signature from me and their system was down. do not sign any sale contract until you are sure you get a fear deal, especially when home market is going down, I end out buying my home overprice, if you sign it and give a deposit, they won't give credit even if you see they are selling the same model home for 65k less of what you sign for.

Initiated purchase online. Sales rep never made effort to meet with us as buyers. Was very hands off and never around when we were available and responses were delayed. Agent had to press for assistance. We liked the style of house and area so we moved forward with the purchase despite his absence in the process. Was not told we would have two HOA's. House is ok ,terrible job by clean up crew. the amount of dust from sheet rock work and painting was a lot . Filters for A/C in ceiling were clogged ( Still have one if you want to see it) was able to get my appliances registered for warranty ,but when asked who to contact nobody returned that text. I asked why the overhead lights weren’t centered over the bar and was told they do it that way intentionally. My electrician and interior designer thought it was shoddy construction. There are 9 lights in the kitchen ceiling and no 3 in a straight line in any direction. Overhead lights no even grounded. I feel liike everything is the cheapest available.
