The process itself was not as smooth as I would have hoped for. There were a lot of small mistakes made that made the overall experience challenging. I had to learn to move forward and make the best of things. Overall, I am happy with my new home now and the services now have been handled appropriately and in a timely manner.

Weird customer service experience with Lennar. Seems like they are rushing through closings and leaving too many outstanding items to be fixed after I moved in. House is nice and I’m happy I bought it but Lennar as a company has not impressed me at all.. quite the opposite.

I like the package with solar.

Lennar is a large impersonal company. Information flows downhill from above and it appears to me that most employees are afraid to act on behalf of the customer because they are afraid of making waves. This is my second Lennar house in 3 years and I have experienced this phenomenon repeatedly. Also, they are VERY slow to respond to service issues, especially if you are misguided enough, as I was, to close before the house was actually complete. Once they have your money, they are even more unresponsive. Be aware the Lennar is nothing more than a "tract" builder who is always trying to cut costs. This second home, for example, was built with much cheaper materials than the one from a couple years ago, despite the fact that the new home was supposedly a level above the last one. Lennar builds a half way decent house, but don't expect to be buying anything like a custom house, despite the inflated pricing. ... More

We were kept informed about construction status weekly

I love Lennar's house. Beautiful and comfortable, the best home I have ever had since immigrating to the US for 10 years.

The idea of buying a new home opposed to older ones has the great advantage of not to worry about whether the electrical and/or the plumbing systems have to be replaced shortly after buying it. LENNAR Homes are outstanding.

My insurance lapsed because they didn’t pay the bill.

I like my house, I regret that I wasn’t able to pick out anything. But I am content with my place and I love the neighborhood.

As out of state buyers we really appreciated Sales Rep David keeping us informed (including pictures) throughout the building process. Our Construction Managers Don and Doug applied their extensive knowledge/experience to address our home building and product features questions. The finished home Don delivered at closing exceeded our expectations.

The sales persons are very professional, kind, responsible, and reliable.

Quality a bit disappointing. Waiting all day today for someone scheduled to come perform some fixes.

Left paint on the floor, windows are off, had to get cabinets redone.

Post closing issues can be hard to address, set up appointments for, or have work orders finished correctly. Have to keep calling and reminding them about fixes.

Do not expect any consideration after your deposit. Once the sale is made, the developer ceases to care.

Let me start by saying that the sales office (Elena and Juan) did an amazing job of communicating and being accountable throughout the entire buying experience. The pain point for my family and I came with the construction team. Their lack of accountability and effective communication was extremely unprofessional. There were numerous times that I had to get the sales office involved to get prompt feedback from construction. We had two walkthroughs before closing, one a week from closing and one the day of closing. At our first walk through we created a multi-page list of issues that should have been corrected. We found three leaks including one which had mold. The construction team said they would correct the issues before closing. Fast forward to closing and we had even more issues, including new large scratches on our flooring. With a long list of items unfinished the construction manager said they would have everything corrected ASAP. Against better judgement we decided to close and allow the construction team to finish our home while we were moving in. Fast forward 45 days post-closing and we still have issues unresolved. It took me having to call Lennar customer service to port the long list of items that needed to be finished to get a response from the construction team. We personally felt that once we closed no one really cared if the job was finished or if the job was done correctly (everything was a rush). Our situation may be an isolated case, but I don't think it's Lennar's plan for customers to feel the way we felt throughout the end of our home purchasing experience. I personally would not recommend Lennar to anyone and will pursue a private builder in the future. I was forced to to close by 2/28/22 and there are list of 22 pages long of repairs are taken until now are nit repaired yet. The home did not have hot water and no appliances until a week ago.

Given the real estate market in the Denver area, Lennar is constructing homes too quickly without much attention to detail which leads to poor craftsmanship and poor attention to detail. There are way too many issues with our new home, especially when paying this amount for a new home. You'd hope that those little things/details like adjacent electrical outlets lining up, ensuring HVAC wiring is correct so that the furnace and A/C condenser aren't running at the same time, picking up the debris/nails around the perimeter of the home prior to closing, ensuring paint is off of windows, ensure drywall/framing is square instead of a 1" relief between one side of the wall and the other, ensuring lots are graded properly before closing, ensure there are no dripping water lines, ensuring there isn't wall texture on floor boards, ensuring the staircase bannisters are stained and then installed so you don't get stain on the flooring when you decide to stain things post-install, protecting the carpets before closing so trades don't track mud through your new home, etc. Not hard things to do, but takes more attention to detail and some caring from the Lennar side to ensure trades are taking enough time to make the little details count. ... Reliability was key to our purchase.

We had a great experience buying our home with Lennar. Everyone has been above and beyond helpful anytime I’ve called with questions and concerns. They have been patient diligent and on top of their game.

Loan officers were great and understanding!

Look at all walls for nail heads sticking out of drywall. Check Bathroom tile workmanship. Look for warped cabinet doors, bulging carpet, etc. we like our home but some areas of workmanship are very shoddy and looks as if completed carelessly. we cannot comment on outside due to areas not complete due to weather.

Lennar has great potential however unfortunately my experience has been subpar and least satisfactory. The workmanship is not great and customer service needs a ton of work. As a millennial I can appreciate Lennar moving towards a “one stop shop” approach, as that did make things simpler in the home buying process. However, there a still lot of areas that need work for a streamlined process to succeed and Lennar does not have that. For that reason I have not and will not recommend them as a builder. I would not trust them with another new build in the future.

The entire process was great after we got past the bidding process Jeremy (sales person) was fantastic and everything went smoothly

Lack of communication throughout the experience, followed by people dropping the ball as far as craftsmanship. Financial side of thing were not complete until 40 minutes after closing appointment. Home was not ready for move in until 3 days after closing
