House toom way longer than we were told it would and even still was convinced to close before the home was ready. And no notice was given when it came to telling us the house still isn't ready. Tile floors seem like the aren't sealed and have spots all over that one clean off, face plates are crooked. Everything just seems rushed and not done well.

Lennar specializes in poor workmanships. They do the bare minimum. which is very disappointed.. They should invest in better subcontractors.

I would say we didnt have the best experience. The day of closing not everything was completed. Keith our builder told us to contact him if we have any issues instead of going through Lennar costumer service. We would reach out to him and get no response. I have also heard he has been let go of the company. We are still dealing with issues on our home that have not been resolved.

I had one roof leak and one air conditioner drain leak in my loft area. The leaks have been fixed however I’m still waiting for the drywall and an upholstered chair that was stained to be fixed. It’s been 3 weeks. Also the garbage dumpster is not emptied on a regular basis. The management company states trucks are in the neighborhood blocking the dumpsters. There have been no trucks on the street for the past three weeks. Lennar needs to change the HOA management company to one that is more responsive. 4 phone calls and an email have proved to be ineffective. I’m to the point of not ...

I found the Lennar experience very frustrating, and would not be repeat buyer. For the price paid, I am disappointed in the development, the finished home, the Lennar processes, and absolutely beside myself that Lennar will not allow, tolerate, or discuss simple, inexpensive changes to make the finished home more “functional “. The Lennar famous quote “it meets code”, and “that’s what’s on the drawing” is heard over and over when you ask for simple changes; early or even before the build. There’s insufficient space for me to outline the issues and watch outs when buying in a Lennar ...

This is my second Lennar home and this experience is nothing like my first experience. There was and has been poor communication between us and Lennar for the entire process. This includes warranty people and construction managers. I have been living in my house for over a month and the landscape is still not completed. There is always an excuse for why it’s not completed. We send emails that go unanswered and seems like everyone is always pointing the finger at someone else. They make it where you can’t walk away but if I could have walked away from this house I would have. The market will ...

The sales agent, the young one was rude and didn’t care at all to explain or show the homes since “the homes are selling themselves “. I walked through a home and was told the home would look exactly like it. Lennar changed out products to cheaper items with no update to the buyer and said oh well deal with or we will let you out your contract. My appliances were not in my home for the walkthrough liked I was informed. Afterwards there were several items pointed out to be repaired/fix during the initial walk through. Those items were not fixed and I was pressured to close without them being ...

At first it was exciting, lizz was great she always responded to our emails and check in every once in a while. She then moved and we were stuck with Nancy. When doing the tape walk thru we weren't able to hold the tape and things we wanted fixed we would get “it’s reasonably crooked” or “I’ll tape it but I don’t know if it’ll be fixed” as we walked through the house we had to be far from the wall and could not use our flashlight for dark areas. I understand it will not be perfect but if I’m going to be purchasing a new home and paying all that money I would like the house to be satisfactory. ...

Overall it was an okay experience. Unfortunately the excitement that comes with buying a home for the first time was deflated a bit when arrived to our home. It was painfully clear that sub-contractors were not held to any sort of standard resulting very poor craftsmanship. QA/QC was not conducted to standard by Lennar’s construction manager. Interior paint barely qualifies as single coat, tiles uneven, large portion of kitchen and bathroom floors were not caulked, nails left protruding through cement in garage, gaps in drywall in utility room, sprinkler system barely covered by dirt in ...

There really doesn’t seem to be quality control. The contractors review their own work and the construction managers take them at their word until the perspective owner comes and looks at the work. The toilet wasn’t level, the stairs were out of plumb, a few walls weren’t square, and they missed the electrical outlet needed on the island, the decking where the AC unit was installed wasn’t not level and the AC unit was installed anyway. The AC unit was installed anyway and actually was missing a recirculating valve. This cause the unit to sweat immensely and water to run off into the ...

Sales office would say anything to sell a home, Shame on us for not looking into a few things ourselves and taking their word. Biggest issues is street behind us, once we moved in found out it is a short cut from Aurora to Parker, CO. Construction team on our home refused to listen to concerns on safety, and structural problems. He has no communication or people skills what so ever. Not someone you would want representing your company.

At the beginning of our build, we were told that we would have a walk-thru during the foundation, rough phase and it not only didn't happen but was offered to view a like home rather than ours. The intent is to walk OUR home, not someone else's. On the day of orientation, we were reminded that it wasn't a time to find issues with the home but rather to get acquainted with the home's features. When we were told about our final walk-thru, we were told this was to review only items that we found that were apparent issues during the orientation. The experience felt more like a used car lot than a ...

Sales people are incorrect with information or it’s possible as per contract that materials other than what is described will be used. After the sale, communication ceases with those directly related to sale. You will still get emails from lennar that’s it.

Overaall it is ok ok exprience. House has decent quality with no major issues. However, get every issue resovled before you move-in. Once you move-in, they say it's your responsbility. They did a poor job on lawn and now i have one side which is great and other side its just weed with in 3 weeks of move-in. they say it's my reseponsbility to ge the weed treated. I raised the concerned during the delivery about the dead pacthes and they said it's bermuda it will just grow back. it did not and now i have bunch of weed with in the 3 weeks of move-in. they really did a number on my lawn.

So far the experience has been mediocre at best. A multitude of problems and nothing gets resolved quickly. Follow up to see what action was taken of if an action is take is slow or non-existent. You do a virtual visit and then never hear have a follow up on what is being done. it has been frustrating- they need to be more responsive and communicate on a regular basis rather than having to chase them to find out when/what is being done.

The workmanship on the interior walls is very bad, when doing the walk through there were no lights in the home, so we could not see how bad it really was, but now that we have lights, the walls are terrible. The dryer was not installed incorrectly because the set screw was not tightened on the cord and that caused smoke and arcing, we have not had a dryer in 3 weeks. The tree in the backyard has been leaning almost to the ground since we moved in and looks terrible. Overall, I am very disappointed in the quality of work for a 2036 square foot home that we paid $441,000, I expected more from ...

I purchased my home 2 months ago and I fell in love but there were steps taken to make sure I would continue being happy in the home and those were not completed. Walkthrough items never touched and ignored and here we are 2 months later and I can not even operate master bedroom blinds from a walkthrough item unacceptable I work hard to make sure I could afford a nice new home.
