Your salesman had some misinterpretations. During walk thru the representative lied to me right in my face. I was pressured to close on home at the time water hadn't even been cut on and when it did there was a leak. I was still being pressured to close. Then my home had no shutters but was being pressured to close. Terrible experience and I wishi purchased with Lennar. Then after seeing some of the workmanship after moving in it's truly terrible.

There’s only so many repairs you can make with a cheaply made home…

Our experience purchasing a Lennar home was disappointing and frustrating. The sales and closing process lacked organization and clear communication. We were passed between multiple representatives who did not appear to be on the same page. Our primary realtor was frequently slow to respond, and on our scheduled move-in day he was extremely difficult to reach. We were informed he was assisting another family while we were actively moving into our home, which added unnecessary stress. Unfortunately, the home itself has also fallen short of expectations, especially given the price. Several features that should be standard were not included, such as ceiling fans, window blinds, a screen for the back door, and a shower door. The guest bathroom has black streaks in the tub and sink that are impossible to remove. Appliances advertised as brand new arrived with visible dents and marks prior to move-in. The exterior landscaping was poorly executed, with low-quality mulch placed without a liner, resulting in ongoing weed and insect issues. We will need to redo the landscaping ourselves. Additionally, the garage is undersized at 19x20 rather than the standard 20x20, which feels like another cost-cutting measure. Upon move-in, there was still red builder tape throughout the home, indicating unresolved issues. Regardless of the fact that this is a "production home", quality of workmanship should be MUCH better, no matter the cost

High pressure from sales. Had to push back to get time to read the many documents. That became a trend throughout the whole process. After the decisions were made it was revealed that the pressure and deadlines were made up. Assurances made were fast and loose. Not all of them panned out. Finance was a mixed bag. The loan officer was knowledgeable and responsive. One of his team members wasn’t handling our communication properly but she was replaced with a much better one upon request. We’re satisfied with the loan terms. The quality of the workmanship in the house is well below our expectations. Some things we were able to fix through warranty requests. Others, I’m afraid to even report for warranty work because I’m afraid they’re going to mess it up even worse. We and our close family are of the opinion that Lennar’s business model depends on getting properties sold before they’re finished. If people saw the finished product up front they wouldn’t buy. To conclude we went with Lennar because of their good reputation in the Houston area. We did not consider Stylecraft because of their bad reputation. According to my recent experience Lennar’s work is comparable to Stylecraft, possibly lower. My extended family is impressed, and not in a good way. ... More

Professional, inflexible, corporate, cold, impersonal.

Brand new house flooded due to faulty installed washer by the builder. A month has passed and still difficult trying to get help.

The Lennar team was very personable, but it’s clear they are overextended, with more work than they can reasonably manage. As the home neared completion, the contractor’s quality noticeably declined. The finish work was subpar, and it appears the focus was placed on quantity rather than quality.

Overall, construction choices feel slapped together with no fore-thought on the completed project. Lower quality trim shows areas that should have been sanded smooth prior to painting. Have had an issue in my yard since day one, and have been tossed between HOA and Lennar for resolution. I had high hopes for this next chapter in my life.

The homes are average build. The quality of the materials used are subpar. These homes are not forever homes. Please get a good home inspector and ensure Lennar addresses the issues found. The Lennar Mortgage Company is horrendous and just flat out terrible. They are very unorganized and the underwriters are incompetent. The delays to closing are purely on Lennar Mortgage. They do not compensate or accommodate for the delays. IF you decide to buy a Lennar home, just be ready to have a Full-time job going back and forth with them to close on your home.

Process started with Lennar website posting of house and not honoring price posted. Thank goodness hired my own inspector. Paint in outside drains (illegal in CA), HVAC pad uneven causing vibration and noise, hump in roof and separation of tiles.

Most of the salespeople were the WORST. I sent the same scanned documents over and over again but was repeatedly asked for them by various people in different states .One finance person emailed me every day for six days in a row asking me for documents that had been sent. He didn't respond to my texts or emails and finally admitted he never opened the files I had sent. The same happened with another rep in another state. My last name is 6 letters long, but it was REPEATEDLY misspelled in documents, even on the day I signed the final documents with the Notary. My SSN was entered incorrectly which explained why they insisted they couldn't get a credit report for me. I finally scanned the credit report and sent it to them myself. Even on the day I signed with the Notary, I was given the wrong amount of final payment that I had to send. My realtor had to intervene numerous times when I failed to receive responses from anyone regarding errors I found in documents. The left hand never knew what the right hand was doing. ... More

There was a site manager, everyone was calling him TK. He made me sign the pre-check list completion before the closing and verbally confirmed one of the issue with the patio door was fixed. I believed him,lol. When I checked it, it was not, I let him know he said he will take care of it by end of the day. But It was still not fixed. I had to request a warranty repair. On the other hand the warranty departman gentleman Gary was great. Good follow up, helpful. Also I would say that the quality of the building is average & below average as expected from mass builders. Oh no new home owner gift received also... lol ... More

Staff no friendly, no clear communication, craftsmanship not good.

We started our Lennar experience on a very positive note with Ty, the on-site sales representative. Everything went down hill from there. We were contacted via email by sooo many different Lennar representatives that we couldn’t keep track of who needed what and when. Every document required electronic signatures with no or very little explanation. Oliver, our loan officer was very good but the volume of paperwork was overwhelming. Moving on, our home celebration was anything but a celebration. The Lennar rep, Kendra, made what should have been a joyful day absolutely miserable. She has NO interpersonal skills and was focused on getting our celebration done ASAP. Instead of focusing on the positives she focused on what Lennar would not do to make our experience better. Since our closing the builder, Heath, has gone out of his way to avoid us while his associate Hayden, has been very helpful. Speaking of helpful I can’t say enough good things about Rob in the warranty department. Wow… he is great. Our water heater failed almost immediately, the plumbing pipes under the kitchen sink unnecessarily takes up the entire cabinet. We currently have an open warranty item on the HVAC which short cycles and makes a very loud harmonics noise. Our first water bill was $199.00 and we weren’t even living in the house yet, we suspect that Heath was watering our neighbors yard from our house. This month I turned off the outside faucets and our water bill is $42.00. The HOA is very slow responding to request for exterior changes. Beautiful home but lacks the customer service and doesn't stand behind their words.

The home buying experience was not what I thought it should've been. I was underwhelmed by the whole process. The only solid experience was with the timeliness with showing of houses and response time from anything I needed with Lennar Sales Rep. Otherwise, the Lennar Mortgage team needs to be reviewed as well as Lennar Construction team. Lennar Mortgage and Escrow Title did not give my refund back in a timely matter and did not give it back in the method I noted from the start. The Team was not aligned and I let them know what they needed to get fixed. The workmanship of the house was very mediocre and could tell they just slapped the houses together with no pride in doing a great job. I also had a dead tree in my front yard and they closed the case without even doing the job. Not a very good start. I'm hoping its not a headache the whole time. The process wasn’t smooth. Closing delayed twice, zero celebration-just were given a snack cake and a goodbye after spending more than a half million dollars!

my experience purchasing my Lennar home has unfortunately not been the best. In particular with the workmanship and the broken promises. Very little has been done for my issues i pointed out during my walk-through Cody, the sales rep was quick and responsive so I don’t anything bad to say about him. He guided us through the process nicely. And helped us navigate our experience. That part of my experience was fine. However, my experience dealing with Lennar mortgage rep, Lee was one of the worst customer experiences. So much so, I went with another mortgage company even though Lennar had a better deal. because my experience was so bad I just didn’t want to work with him. My design studio appointments were great, and some of the follow-up. At my walkthrough I noted exposed nails, cracked master bedroom windows and large gaps in the seal in concrete in front of my home (among other issues). This was noted BEFORE I MOVED IN. These issues have not been addressed. I have injured myself on the exposed nails on stairway and the carpet in two rooms is separating from the floor. THIS WAS NOTED BEFORE MOVED IN. My master bedroom window has a crack and it has not been addressed. My solar is not working. It’s been 2 months. I’ve paid 30k for solar and nobody can help me get it working. Some county inspection wasn’t completed on the battery and I can’t get Lennar to help me get this. Even though this is something that should have been completed before I moved in. And while i have pleaded for help with these issues, they have not been addressed. I just wished I didn’t feel so cast aside when purchasing our first home with Lennar. ... More

The house was poorly done and amendments were not done after walk through as promised.

Lennar rushed closing of the homes for the hill district, knowing well the street is not ready for living conditions. This make investors lose thousands of dollars for couple of months. Worst closing experience for the purchase of The hill district .

I've been here for two months and unfortunately I'm having some issues. The CO2 alarm has already gone off five times for no reason. Two devices have already been replaced, and the problem seems to persist. The toilet on the first floor was uneven, requiring three days of repair work to fix it. These are some inconveniences you don't expect when buying a new home.

Lots of confusion on closing day, very difficult to communicate with HOA, still have no idea who we need to contact for trash service.

This is my second home purchased from Lennar in four years. In both instances a water pipe was punctured multiple times when the microwave snd kitchen cabinets were installed. Both times my kitchen had water damage and I had to wait a month to have the repairs done. New kitchen- torn apart for a month- twice. My garage door opener still loses power. Not repaired. Two months in. Quality is poor. The price is lower than other counties but the quality control needs improvement.

The process of buying was easy, I signed to take the house off market and received a closing date within a month. Received the house but front door lock was faulty. I opened one the windows to let the smell of new materials out and the frame of the window started to peel and the paint came off the same day. The garage door was making noises because of a screw out of place, the finishing inside has details here and there that could be corrected. The tile piece outside for the garage lights were stained by the construction and they said they couldn’t do anything about it technically. The back yard was planted with a blocks of grass very unevenly. Not that I regret it but it got me feeling what could go wrong next. They are quick to come and help with any situation but the material quality seems to be poor. Regarding documentation, I had to ask for the survey of the property because it was not given to me at the closing. No information about the location of the mailbox or the pool if I hadn’t asked.
