Lennar was a great builder back in the day. The process was lengthy but that was expected. The wall paint is awful. The trim needs work and no one fixed the issues, which is unacceptable. No one will fix the issue since me and my wife signed the dotted line. Lennar knew of the issues. Tiles are not correct, the floor squeaks and they say it was done correctly. The rug isn't professional. My feet sink in the carpet to where I feel the hard floor. The lights on the ceiling fell and this is a new build, nothing should be giving me issues. The trim doesn’t meet together…..another issue that was brought to their attention; however it was not addressed. If I could rate responsiveness to the issues outlined in the wall through….. I rate a zero or negative 1. For a first time homebuyer, Lennar isn’t the ones to go to. Folks, do research prior to choosing a company to build your home. Sorry for the poor review but it’s my honest observations. The build happened so quick. With so many issues. Lights falling from the ceiling on a new build is poor building…… I’m not a builder but anyone that sees the quickness of this build say it’s terrible quality. From the first moment we met Dan at the Lennar office, he was engaging, helpful, and thorough. He answered all of our questions and kept us up to date on the progress of our new home. He remained involved and steadfast until the very day of our closing.

This is our second Lennar home that we purchased within the last 4 years. And I have to say the workmanship on the 2nd Lennar home is not as great as the 1st one, We had 3 different project managers during the whole process. The last one that closed with us was not at all knowledgeable on what came with the house at least not the basics. I have submitted 3 different warranty items and 1 has already been resolved and waiting on the next 2.

Had a good perception about Lennar and liked the model home better than the community adjacent to Lennar. Sales experience was fine however effort to work with Lennar financing to avail credit did not materialize as the mortgage person was working from a view that with a 7k credit how can another lender match Lennar's financing. In the end I didnt use Lennar and credit was useless. Next comes the day of new home orientation, so many issues were identified 6 days prior to the home closing that I even thought of backing out of the transaction due to low confidence if this is what I am seeing, who knows what is the quality of the work which is not visible. Furthermore, AC and Fridge were on backorder and I was told will be provided by closing. Fast forward 7 weeks, AC is installed but still working with a replacement fridge with Lennar failing to confirm a date. While fixing the defects labor worked and then Lennar failed to clean the house upon closing. Despite repeated messages it was not cleaned and I end up paying Molly Maid over $400. Next is the time to lodge first warranty issue, the process was followed, all documentation provided yet it was a merry go round. I guess due to high demand the quality is compromised and its not a usual way of business by Lennar! At the time of writing this review I am still trying to figure out how to escalate my issues for resolution as I have serious communication issues with my assigned representative during warranty period. I hope with housing market starting to cool off, Lennar will have more time and strive to do better to improve overall customer experience. ... More

Responsiveness….. they should have given me the option to give them a Zero. NOT including the sales staff, Gregg and ED who are great! I closed on my house in March 2022. I still have A punch list that needs to be completed. I realize they’re busy building new homes but, I would like somebody To communicate with me as to when They are going to Complete my home for which they have been paid. There has been NO RESPONSE After numerous phone calls, texts and emails which have been sent to multiple people with Lennar Homes. Communication….to much to ask? At the end of the experience, I do love my home, but it was not easy going through the process. There were multiple mistakes made along the building process. Fixes took way longer than they should have and many of these were not performed to the standard that I would have expected for a new home. There were multiple delays during the build process - 5 weeks went by with no progress being done on the home and we closed on our home 2.5 months late. Further, when Lennar did close on the home they did so when they were not finished with the home and it has been a painful process getting things fixed. 2.5 months after close we still do not have all the things addressed in the home. We didn't have a mail box for over 5 weeks after moving into the home. The list goes on. Lennar employees were not always forth coming with information and we were given information that was in some cases miss leading and in some cases completely false. At the end of the day, I do love my home, but it was a difficult process to get here. ... More

Average quality build with many small issues. Only some of them are covered by warranty. Few things are not covered and they try to deny the quality issues as not covered, Make sure to question any quality issues ahead of closing and insist on addressing them before closing.

We could not be happier with the entire home buying process. Our Lennar team including Kevin, Deacon and the others were outstanding. Thank you, thank you!

Be prepared to pay more than advertised. Option costs are not included in web pricing and every house gets option adds. Be prepared to pay more the day you sign a contract. Our home went up mysteriously $10K the night before we were scheduled to sign a contract. Dishonest business practice. Fit and finish is something to be desired. If you are OK with no screens on patio doors, no gutters, permanently mounted toilet paper holders too small to hold toilet paper rolls, poor concrete work, lowest grade carpet and padding you can find, no outside lighting over the garage door, a garage too small for most SUVs and pickups, a two-car garage that can really only handle one car, no storage whatsoever, crammed into 5 feet of separation between you and your neighbor on both sides, narrow driveways, and narrow streets, then this is the perfect home for you. Once you move in, you just start noticing these things. ... More

We bought this amazing home this year and we are very blessed. The sales home consultants Laurie and Jackie went above and beyond for us. They were there for us every step of the way from day one until they handed us the keys to our new home!!! We were planning on using Lennar’s lender to take advantage of all they’re great incentives but their lender, Leslie, was terrible. I can’t say one good thing about her. As first time home buyers she left us in the dark and never reached out or informed us about anything. My wife and I were having to do our own research about the next steps on buying a house and then reaching out to Leslie to ask about what is going on. She would never answer our calls, email us 5 days after and when we would schedule an appointment with her she would never reach out. Then after countless calls she would call us back saying “ what do you need?” Obviously a lender that does her job that’s what we need. After months of dealing with her we ended up dropping her and choosing an outside lender who went above and beyond for us and we couldn’t be happier. Even after we dropped Leslie she would reach out asking for the loan approval that out new lender got us because Leslie wanted to take back over. She was lazy and tried to take the credit for work she did not do. She made us feel like we were a joke and could not afford this home because we were young. Lennar kept in contact with me throughout building process. Their staff guided me through the procedures and paperwork and responded promptly when I had questions, concerns and minor warranty issues.

My Lennar experiences are mostly good. My home is beautiful, and I am pleased to be in it. Questions were asked and answered fairly quickly during the build. If time was needed to obtain an answer but was delayed the string of communication was open and straight forward. Once in the home some items were not completed from the punch list. Important issues arose for instance no electrical on the outside of the house. A call was placed but no return call. The air conditioner was not working for several days at the beginning of my move in calls were made but no response back. All in all, this has been a good experience. I would buy from them again. ... Lennar, where to start with you!!!! ABSOLUTELY the worst home buying experience. It literally took my having to locate Greg (Lennar Homebuilding and Land Regional President) via his personal cell phone number while he was at home to understand how someone by the name of Kelli (Director of Sales & Marketing) could be such a heartless, cold, foul individual!?! It wasn’t until this stage in the process we actually had a conversation with someone in Lennar Corp who actually had brain cells, and functional ears. For that, I thank you Greg. You were the first person in Lennar corporate that actually had a heart, listened to what was happening to us (through no fault of our own) and actually took the time to make the situation right. Well Kelli attempted to call me and take credit for the suggested workaround, however it was the workaround that both Greg & I had discussed during our conversation. As for on-site, here at the Gales Creek location in Forest Grove! Starting from Jason, going to Emilio, and ending with Melissa & Allison. These (4) were ABSOUTELY amazing! I feel bad that great people like the (4) I had mentioned above, are stuck “bearing the repercussions” of Kelli’s poor leadership. Her decision making, lack of empathy, and absolutely FOUL communication skills really puts these wonderful employees in a disadvantageous position. I hope these (4) employees are recognized for all their efforts because they were the saving grace in this whole nightmare. I hope I NEVER have to do business with Lennar again for the remainder of our lives. Good riddance, I hope y’all wake up and reassess how y’all treat people. We understand it’s a sellers market, but the people purchasing your homes are still your customers as well. You should somewhat care about their overall experience when it comes to interacting with your company. Oh, btw. As for the quality. We bought a duplex, and I know we have separate walls (I’ve seen it with my own eyes during the construction phase). However on our shared wall area, you can hear everything your neighbor does. This was our second time purchasing a Lennar home. However, their “everything’s included” motto is no longer, it’s especially disappointed since the price was double than our first home. Sellers agent was a terribly difficult to work with and made the buying experience unpleasant.

Experience was great. Quality workmanship and materials were awesome! But refrigerator's water and ice dispenser was not fully operational and I cant get them to replace it. The warranty contact was not helpful at all, no trouble call ticket provided and it seems like nothing has happened.

Lennar representatives Carissa, Joel, Jose and Martha have ruined the new home buying process …

Better than I expected

No out of state home buying experience is easy. We purchased this home site unseen. It worked out for us due to the trustworthiness of our salesmen. Mark provided regular honest updates. So far Lennar has been responsive with warranty issues and have followed up. I would definitely recommend this builder to my friends and family!
