I will not buy a Lennar home again. The lack of attention to detail is astounding. First time buying a new build. Live and learn. No shows and lack of communication on getting repairs done underscores my dissatisfaction. Pre buying there was a lot of talk about being responsive. Let’s see it in action!

As a previous lennar home owner we know lenanr is very average in construction quality and materials. Finishing doesn’t look great, we can clearly see rifts in the baseboard, squeaky noises from the floors. Just that the location of this site is good and that’s the only reason we bought this property.otherwise nothing to be proud about. Lot size is a joke just 0.13 acres. The pace at which the house was built gave us a hint that the construction quality is questionable and true to that our doubts were proven correct.

Meritage Homes purchasing in Arizona experience was 10x better overall.

Go through a realtor who will make sure all things are completed to your satifaction before you sign

Before closing, there were several finishing issues, including the most horrendous tape and bed job I’ve ever seen, that the contractors were very hesitant and seemingly annoyed to complete. After asking what the next steps were if it wasn’t right before closing, we were basically told “we’ll give you a different house and sell this to someone who won’t notice”. After closing it has been almost impossible to get a hold of anyone to help us with the issues we continue to find with the finishing work in the house. We have several friends that also live in this neighborhood who have had similar issues with their finishings. We love our home and I am grateful we were able to get such a good deal on it but I will probably never buy though Lennar again. ... More

The house it’s too cheap, a lot of small things it’s broken or will be broken short, house for 400k shut cost 200k for that quality

I paid more than $585K for my home and very disappointed. Very bad quality, walls and ceiling was very rough and unprofessional done. Very dirty doors knobs, that not clean before closing. Many undone left before closing because I was from out of town and don’t have time to come back a day before closed. Totally disappointed about their house built and warranty service was a nightmare. No one care.

Would have liked to have been better informed during the whole process. Structural and design changes were made during the building process that I wish would have been shared with us. Issues addressed were not completed by final walk through. A month into ownership, we feel that some issues were forgotten about.

I had a house from Lennar in Tampa that the construction, finishes and the features were top. Came to Myrtle Beach expecting the same…..what a disappointment. The quality of the work and the finishes are probably the most cheapest. The lights, rugs, paint, cabinets. Bathroom……the worst quality. I had an issue with the grading of my soil prior to closing and the Construction Manager indicated that it was due to rain. A month and a half passed by and the area did not improve. Worked with the warranty department and they involved others to solve my issue. As of today the issue has not been solved. Our house is just ok. Everyday we find something that is awful with it. Meaning the trim, the doors, the paint. The trades don't care, and when they speak very little english you feel bad telling them that it still looks awful when they come back in to "try" and fix it. They always have to call the boss and see if they can or can't do more work. But then it ends up looking just as bad as it was at the start. The trim work is horrible and the doors all look awful as well on the bottom.

THIS IS MY THIRD CONDO AT BABCOCK NATIONAL. I SHOULD HAVE LEARNED FROM THE FIRST CONDO EXPERIENCE NOT TO PURCHASE A SECOND ONE. MY THOUGHT WAS TO GIVE LENNAR A SECOND CHANCE WHICH I DID. THE EXPERIENCE WAS A LITTLE BETTER BUT STILL DISMAL. THE THIRD IS BACK TO THE FIRST, VERY BAD, THE WORKMANSHIP IS TERRIBLE AND THE CONSTRUCTION MANAGERS ARE TOO BUSY PUSHING OUT NEW PRODUCT RATHER THAN TAKING CARE OF THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE ALREADY CLOSED ON THEIR UNITS. NO MORE LENNAR FOR ME.

After buying a perfect home from Lennar in 2007 I was really disappointed in the quality of work on on this new home. Really poor workmanship on house and landscaping

Had a walkthrough called the celebration where we wrote certain things down to be fixed and repaired around the home, and never did get all are checklist taken care of.

From the Lennar using unskilled labor for cheap overhead cost to work. To their money grabbing hoa. Lennar has succeeded all expectations of failing to do the simple things by cutting corners, radius, and diameters in the quality of building homes. There is not enough space in this box to write down all the deficiencies.

Not good! We have so many issues and no help with what we were originally told.

Since we moved in we have been having problems after problems. Everytime I call to place a warranty work order there always seem to be a long wait time no one answer phone calls. I have emergency problems and no one came out to help. I had water line bust and was told it’s not an emergency and the list countinues on and on.

Lack of communication, poor craftsmanship but asking for repair of poor craftsmanship leads to even poorer craftsmanship with no concern of Lennar

The house was rushed to finish for closing so it was closed for end of quarter. Sloppy job on finishing touches. Still waiting for damaged kitchen cabinets to be replaced. No one will schedule the installation. Pool was not ready at closing.

The workmanship is lacking and responding to fix things is awful

Our experience continues to be exhausting and frustrating. We had a 9 page punch list on the first walk through which was not addressed by the closing date. Being in the house for almost two months we are still waiting to get things corrected that should have never been issues if the builder used common sense. The issue costing us, is our AC is not working properly through out the house costing us high electrical bills. Light switches did not work, had to paint the entire house inside and out, seals on all windows had to be replaced, still waiting on hardware for the hurricane shutters. There is not enough staff to complete these issues for all the homes. We were never clear who the contact person was, the warranty person, contract manager, virtual Lennar contact (have two of them) or to reach out to the subcontractors directly. We are at the point where we don't want to say anything, for concerns the repair will make it worse, like matching the tile that needs to be replaced. We were not left extra tile of the same lot incase repairs are needed. I have designed and built homes before retiring, and the biggest issue is the building manager or general contractor is not managing the quality as the house is being built. If they corrected these errors as the house is going up, it's more cost effective then repairing after build is complete. ... More

I recently purchased a home, and I must say I'm quite disappointed with the workmanship. There are several noticeable flaws throughout the property that were overlooked during construction. The finishing touches seem rushed, and the overall quality falls short of what I expected for the price I paid. I've encountered problems with electrical outlets, and even some structural concerns. It's frustrating to deal with these issues so soon after moving in. I hope the builders can address these problems promptly, as it's been a rather unpleasant start to my homeownership journey."

As a first time homebuyer I was excited for the process and now I’m upset and disappointed with the whole thing and wish I didn’t buy the house now since moving in the home I have had 5 issues, and the biggest problem was a leak leak and garbage disposal leaking watering all under the sink and let not talk about the voucher they provide that you can’t even use,, The dishonesty and the communication here sucks

Lennar was in a hurry to close the home. Because of this there are many items that didn't get taken care of on the final punch list. i.e. painting, paint on carpet etc.

After I moved in took long for grass to be put on the yard and had to many issues on the walls you could see screws and pilling house started shifting just stuff that should not happen on a new home that cost and paid a lot of money

Bought a few homes before and have never experience such poor workmanship and quality of products used. No quality control such sloppiness in painting and concrete work. No one wants to take accountability for the poor workmanship. I needs some items fixed but do not trust that the issues would look or be fixed any better than they do now.
