This is my second experience with Lennar, first house had good quality in almost everything; the new house had a lot of issues and now is really difficult to get them fixed. I only got help from one person (Mr Lee). Also the way that they does the closing is annoying, my realtor had to get paperwork through the title company after almost two months because they never gave me a copy.

the floors of the interior of the house unevenly and noisy when walking like squealing wood, doors without finish, the handrails of the stairs without fine finish, rather scratchy and unpolished or varnished, sliding doors that get stuck because of the poorly installed, and worst of all is that to attend a claim, The owner has to accept the time and days so that they go do the work that should be done before selling the house, and even so they go and leave the work unfinished.

I signed the contract thinking they would fix broken windows, doors, uneven fixtures since first walkthrough. Four months later still waiting, they fix some floor issues, drywall issues and now water is coming from the ceiling. Very dissatisfied!

Pay the extra 50-100k for better workmanship, materials, and construction management with a different builder. Everywhere we look my wife, myself, and guest see examples of poor craftmanship. I don't know who was overseeing the quality of this build but they need training. The standard was set low. I have and will continue to share this sentiment with anyone who asks about the home

My experience began with a very energetic salesperson and loan processor who worked to get my home under contract. My experience went downhill from the time I did the final walkthrough, closing, and moving into a home that has lots of poor workmanship and materials. The final walkthrough was conducted by the Superintendent alone, no salesperson. The Title company, was horrid to say the least. We met with a Notary and no one from the Title company addressed us at all. The title company sent emails indicating that we were to return to the home after the closing, however there was no one ...

Lennar was great in the beginning answered all of our questions in a timely manner whether through emails or text! Our sales rep Ali was always available to answer any questions we had, and with us being new home buyers she walked us through every stage of the home building process and for that we are grateful. Megan our loan officer was also available and would answer any of our questions in a timely manner.However when it came down to the construction of our home that's when things changed. In my experience the sales effort and aggressive chase for wire transfers long before the house was anywhere near completion was unprofessional. A 1:00pm walk thru for a 4:00pm closing when the interior doors where still in the garage along with many poorly done items in and around the house. Closed the next day with many open items. Still today dozen or more items not done. Appointment for Dec.23, garage door not working correctly and very noisy still no show. Awakened by dripping water while in bed, leaking roof. I was told I was getting a $1000 Visa card. At closing, I was told NO Visa card. I called the sales guy and said he will get me a washer and dryer. It's been almost 2 months and no washer and dryer. I have built 3 homes - this was my worst experience.

Overall, we felt the quality of the home was not worth the investment. Many areas of poor workmanship, walls not true to scale, flooring not put in correctly, concrete not put in correctly, many small things just not handled correct for 400K home. we believe more attention to detail could have been done, the home was not cleaned when we moved in, floors were dirty, garage dirty.

My home buying experience was not pleasant. From the start representatives tried to force me to use Lennar financing and threatened that I could lose my deposit if I went with another lender. From there it got worse. My closings date was chosen by Lennar and it did seem like there was any coordination with the construction side. A week before closing I have my orientation and the electrical had not been tested so there were no lights or AC and the water had not been tested with we could do a proper walkthrough. The construction of a $500k home rates a Minus on our scale. Super delayed process that was poorly communicated. Stressful and limited communication during the build process. Obvious lack of supervision of poorly skilled workers. The home continues to present endless construction issues. Just wished this product was refundable .

There is no sound proofing between the ceiling and the neighbors floor above I hear everything that goes on upstairs!!!!! I made settlement in September 7th now I’m going to try and sell it hopefully no one reads this LOL !! It’s 2022 I shouldn’t be able to hear my neighbors upstairs. Had to place best and final bid offer for home. You'll never know if you overbid or not. No customizing your new build, which is not what was communicated to us until it was too late (would have to give up deposit). They rush you to make your deposits and closing on your home, but are slow to respond when issues arise. They also don't give you timelines on how your home is progressing in the building phase. Not sure I would recommend them at this time. This makes me think twice about buying a new construction home in the future.

Everything was delayed. The quality is pathetic. The responsiveness of the team is so below par. Overall I would not recommend Lennar at all.
