This is my second experience with Lennar, first house had good quality in almost everything; the new house had a lot of issues and now is really difficult to get them fixed. I only got help from one person (Mr Lee). Also the way that they does the closing is annoying, my realtor had to get paperwork through the title company after almost two months because they never gave me a copy.

the floors of the interior of the house unevenly and noisy when walking like squealing wood, doors without finish, the handrails of the stairs without fine finish, rather scratchy and unpolished or varnished, sliding doors that get stuck because of the poorly installed, and worst of all is that to attend a claim, The owner has to accept the time and days so that they go do the work that should be done before selling the house, and even so they go and leave the work unfinished.

I signed the contract thinking they would fix broken windows, doors, uneven fixtures since first walkthrough. Four months later still waiting, they fix some floor issues, drywall issues and now water is coming from the ceiling. Very dissatisfied!

Pay the extra 50-100k for better workmanship, materials, and construction management with a different builder. Everywhere we look my wife, myself, and guest see examples of poor craftmanship. I don't know who was overseeing the quality of this build but they need training. The standard was set low. I have and will continue to share this sentiment with anyone who asks about the home

My experience began with a very energetic salesperson and loan processor who worked to get my home under contract. My experience went downhill from the time I did the final walkthrough, closing, and moving into a home that has lots of poor workmanship and materials. The final walkthrough was conducted by the Superintendent alone, no salesperson. The Title company, was horrid to say the least. We met with a Notary and no one from the Title company addressed us at all. The title company sent emails indicating that we were to return to the home after the closing, however there was no one here to meet us, we had to go find the Superintendent who showed us where the keys were. No one bothered to explain who we were to contact for utilities or where to pick up our mail as the mailboxes were not operable. The painters dripped paint on my tub, light switches, tile holders and the floors. The concrete installers missed a section of the back patio, so we had to except a glaring difference in the concrete or the section would be without concrete creating a breach between the patio and the back of the house. In the front walkway, the concrete is not only cracking, it is breaking up and we are being told that nothing can be done to correct the problem. The concrete in the garage is not level, and again we are being told that nothing can be done and if something is done, we will have two different colors of concrete in the garage. Nothing has been done so far, therefore, I do not trust Lennar as a builder and have serious regrets about my decision to purchase my home from Lennar. Many issues found after move in. Quality issues should be addressed quickly.

Response for issues are slow, so many items missed at the time of build.

Lennar was great in the beginning answered all of our questions in a timely manner whether through emails or text! Our sales rep Ali was always available to answer any questions we had, and with us being new home buyers she walked us through every stage of the home building process and for that we are grateful. Megan our loan officer was also available and would answer any of our questions in a timely manner.However when it came down to the construction of our home that's when things changed. As our closing date approached we had concerns that our home would not be finished. It indeed was not.We ended up closing with the promise that all of our concerns would be resolved a couple of days after closing and they were not. For example, missing doors on cabinets, lighting in both bathrooms,vanity missing in second bathroom etc. The bottom line is that we would have never of closed knowing all of these items wouldn't be taken care of for weeks after closing. As I write this review their are still issues with the kitchen cabinets.The earliest they can come to fix them is April! Not acceptable! But what choice do we have? ... More

Poor workmanship Lenard representative was not responsive at all

In my experience the sales effort and aggressive chase for wire transfers long before the house was anywhere near completion was unprofessional. A 1:00pm walk thru for a 4:00pm closing when the interior doors where still in the garage along with many poorly done items in and around the house. Closed the next day with many open items. Still today dozen or more items not done. Appointment for Dec.23, garage door not working correctly and very noisy still no show. Awakened by dripping water while in bed, leaking roof. Interior paint job is horrible. Many spots in paint and chips or missing grout in floor not addressed yet. Broken tiles, chipped doors, not yet fixed. I can see grout lines in ceiling that should never show. Front door does not close properly, bad trim work around doors painted over. Contractors leaving paint or other stains in driveway. Holes in patio concrete. Far to many issues to list. Still today after two months blue stickers all over house. Your service after sale is rated less than one star. I cannot trust you to stand behind your work. Your service after the sale should be as aggressive as your sales and wire deposit efforts. I was told I was getting a $1000 Visa card. At closing, I was told NO Visa card. I called the sales guy and said he will get me a washer and dryer. It's been almost 2 months and no washer and dryer. I have built 3 homes - this was my worst experience.

Lacking quality and control. Customer care is a nightmare. Please don’t close unless all issues are addressed

Materials changed and fixing issues gets pushed off or not addressed.

We’ve had many issues with our home after closing escrow from water leaks to appliances not being installed correctly. Getting a lennar rep to fix the issues has been very difficult

There still pending Items that need to be corrected or completed...workmanship was the worst. Spent my own money and time to get the house in order and thanks to Justin who is taking care of lots of things for me at this moment.

Overall, we felt the quality of the home was not worth the investment. Many areas of poor workmanship, walls not true to scale, flooring not put in correctly, concrete not put in correctly, many small things just not handled correct for 400K home. we believe more attention to detail could have been done, the home was not cleaned when we moved in, floors were dirty, garage dirty.

I'm moving and thinking the brand new house will be nice but it's a kind of male night we can expressing out the ceiling is cracked my wall of the bathrooms they cut it open to fix the leaking and they still not coming to fix the drywall and the doors lighting door frame has been cracked they told us to come and going to fix it and then come to fix it in the bathroom is missing the GF I supposed to be going each bathrooms is not been there in the showers was a little need touch up and they never come to do yet and then the floor they cut out of the vent and they say they was going to come in we cut it and put a new piece in there and they still not been here lot of people come here just to look at it and leave put oil and leave it but they never fix anything the only thing they did is the paint but they still didn't completed do it everything we have to paint it ourselves in in the stairs case handrails they told us they're going to be here in 2 weeks and you're still not here and then lastly we talk with somebody else they say oh we don't know I think they should be but still will should be there but not so that's where I put in my two stars for this Learners when they sellers the sellers people are great but after you move it in it's a midnight they don't come too complete the cabinet door was not closing really good they say they're going to come and fix it a Carpenters cabinet guys coming to say no that's from the factory we can do it nothing they look at it and left that's my story from buying a new phone from Lennar ... My home buying experience was not pleasant. From the start representatives tried to force me to use Lennar financing and threatened that I could lose my deposit if I went with another lender. From there it got worse. My closings date was chosen by Lennar and it did seem like there was any coordination with the construction side. A week before closing I have my orientation and the electrical had not been tested so there were no lights or AC and the water had not been tested with we could do a proper walkthrough. The day before closing I spoke with a representative from the construction side and they told me the home wasn’t even 90% done yet. On my original closing date I arrived at the home to do a final walkthrough and there were holes cut out of my pantry wall because my water heater was leaking. The stove top was missing and my oven/ microwave was sitting on the floor. To make it worse. The plumber realized the fixtures on the bathtub were reversed. Since there is no way to access them he had to cut a hole in the dining room ceiling to access the supply lines. After that was fixed the turned the water on and water came gushing out of the ceiling. At this point the construction rep called his boss to look at the situation. I them received a call from the sales representative stating that they will give me $6500 towards my closing cost if I closed on that day but I wouldn’t be able to move in for 2 weeks. I replied that I would close only if they paid all closing cost at this point. They declined. The started the remediation to make sure no mold or water damage was evident. They had heaters and blowers on 24/7 for at least 4 days. I notified the sales representative that the electricity was switched over to my name 48 hours prior to closing as per the letter Lennar sent listing things that needed to be done prior to the closing date. The sales representative replied “ why did you do that. You haven’t closed yet”. So I send her a copy of the check list they sent me. Again they declined to do anything about it. I was stuck paying the electricity bill for the month that it took for them to get the house ready for the 2nd closing date. 2 days prior to the second closing date we did a final walk through and notated what needed to be fixed and today over a month and a half later I still have things that need fixing. ... The construction of a $500k home rates a Minus on our scale. Super delayed process that was poorly communicated. Stressful and limited communication during the build process. Obvious lack of supervision of poorly skilled workers. The home continues to present endless construction issues. Just wished this product was refundable .

workmanship is awful. the home was not buil to to the specs given to me at purchase. no crown molding- no gutters as stated in the spec sheet

There is no sound proofing between the ceiling and the neighbors floor above I hear everything that goes on upstairs!!!!! I made settlement in September 7th now I’m going to try and sell it hopefully no one reads this LOL !! It’s 2022 I shouldn’t be able to hear my neighbors upstairs. Lennar probably doesn’t care so here is your review

Poor quality construction. Cheap material used.

Had to place best and final bid offer for home. You'll never know if you overbid or not. No customizing your new build, which is not what was communicated to us until it was too late (would have to give up deposit). They rush you to make your deposits and closing on your home, but are slow to respond when issues arise. They also don't give you timelines on how your home is progressing in the building phase. Not sure I would recommend them at this time. This makes me think twice about buying a new construction home in the future.

Everything was delayed. The quality is pathetic. The responsiveness of the team is so below par. Overall I would not recommend Lennar at all.

It started as a great experience but quickly turned into a nightmare. Multiple issues during construction were never addressed.
