Thought we would give Lennar a second chance. Only good thing about it was our salesman Cody. We received the home on time but it was filthy. We complained on walk thru but nothing changed. We cleaned it ourselves. Workmanship is below par as well as quality of cabinets, appliances. Disappointing.

We did our walk thru a week before we closed and we came back 3 times in that week and nothing had been done in our walk thru so the day before closing we went to the office and our girl got on the phone and called our project manager and got them to start working on all the things that were wrong. Like used car salesman, they fast talk you to look over and past their work. The cm had no integrity and did not stand by his word. The Sheetrock was poorly done throughout the entire house and even after a month of work still not right.

Emphasis more on getting the contract signed without proper inspection and taking responsibilities for resolving client's issues. My property had a number of poor finishes and uncompleted snag list of items. This was left for me to arrange post move-in. In addition, I had electrical issues which I was not adequately supported for resolution even though this was a know issue according to the electrical engineer who later fixed the issue. I still have issues to be resolved once I have time to organize it. My experience was a terrible one and would not like it to be repeated.

it was the worst buying experience of any product I’ve ever bought in my entire life. The only good news is my salesman was perfect and very helpful. Buyer beware - false statements by salespeople, archaic, disorganized and unnecessarily time-intensive requirements that customers deal with way too many emails and multiple online platforms and excessive amounts of conversation with multiple employees in multiple departments, to get anything done. Lennar is primary controlled by Vanguard, Blackrock, and Fidelity. Investment companies, whose goal is to sell as many units at the lowest quality to gain lowest cost to drive up prices of housing. The home we are in is overpriced by $200k for the quality installed.

Staff showed signs of incompetence, lies were told about the readiness of the property, loan officer was a fast talker, and often was delayed in response, closing attorneys were big liars and incompetent, onsite realtors told several small lies ( not Malcom). I’d never go with Lennar again or recommend. Emily is great! Promote her.

Quality is definitely below what we were used to. Previous Lennar home you can see was built with higher standards. Floors squeak everywhere upstairs. Doors are thin as paper. Front door I can see through to the outside barely has weather strip. The wall moves when you pull on one of the sliding glass doors. Dry wall is barely finished. 2nd floor moves when kids run across it.

The home buying experience I had with Lennar was just horrible. It seems like all they care about was me closing as soon as possible. The workmanship for this 340,000 house is so horrible. Thus far I have encountered many issues with construction failures in my new home. Issues such as crooked walls. Missing components. Central air and heating problems. Flooring issues with instalation flaws. No windows screens to save lennar money. Front yard still has installation failures, it appears as if they just went on to the next job and forgot about it. Sales agent is awesome, loan officer might be the most unprofessional person I have ever done business with, service request was okay but rigid on time availability and not considering the customer, customer service agents are great but can do a little with empathy, some finishing could have been better and materials installed a little better. We moved in just before Thanksgiving and have had two floods (one due to damaged underground drain and one due to builder installed washer). The warranty process has been slow and tedious. It seems that they were trying to get the work done to sell the house. The workman ship was very poor. We had to walk this home 3 time and items were not addressed as of our purchase date. Items still need to be addressed with us living here. The door opening from the outside and the hinges on the outside of the door is very unsafe as well. Someone could just knock the hinges off and come into the home.
