Do not buy from Lennar they do not care about quality of work They do not fix problems and leave you hanging We have been in our home since Dec 13 and still have major problems that we CANNOT get fixed SORRY we bought this house

Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. There’s so much wrong with our house. We are missing a lot and no one to come fix it. Horrible.

Many things being fixed should not have passed quality control before selling which seems nonexistent. In a rush for profit they compromise quality placing the burden on the buyer to say something is wrong a position the buyer should not be placed in by a quality builder. A warranty is great but don’t sell a product that’s damaged. They are being responsive to correct and fix things so far unfortunately some of the contractors leave a mess the homeowner needs to clean up. Not sure if quality contractors are lacking which could be the case. The sidewalks in the neighborhood and driveways look extremely damaged to be fixed later by the developer but that’s loss time of enjoyment. Walk the sidewalks and see how bad they are. It’s ridiculous. They can do better but quality over quantity has taken a backseat. Heard good things about Lennar but this is not one of their better neighborhoods unfortunately. No reason for it not to be. Hold contractors accountable, create quality control prior to the sell, and stop damaging the concrete after its in place. It’s not rocket science. ... More

The house has too many issues and it is taking too long to resolve them. It was not worth it to pay so much many for a hoy with a very poor workmanship. It has been five months since the closing and stood Lennar hasn’t fixed all the many things wrong in the house.

Lack of communication of the process. Lack of customer service.Lack of understanding of customer needs

Closed in August, still waiting to fix more than 10 issues

There were several issues with our home upon move in which we were told would be taken care of. We had to continuously contact customer care and the construction manager to complete tasks that were not completed as promised. We had a ticket opened due to a cracked cabinet and back splash prior to closing date. The ticket was closed without being addressed or us being contacted. I had to continously reach out to customer care to figure out why the ticket was closed without the work being completed and they weren't able to tell me who closed the ticket or why. We were not disclosed the Villa fees upfront. House was not complete on closing day. As well as many repairs needing to be done upon move in.

Walk thru was fast and not complete. Many exceptions to close. I was given the wrong key when I closed. People were working on my home after I CLOSED without permission from me. My garage just got fixed 3 plus months later. The light switch to my laundry room is behind the door. With all that being said, I know nothing is perfect. I recommend a very thorough walk thru.

Waiting for months to get problems addressed and still no help. Promises made and no follow through. Finish work is not good, follow through not good, effort to make things right nonexistent. Gone through all the appropriate channels and done everything asked of us and we are left hanging with no help in sight.

The building staff will ask you to give a great review because their jobs are on the line. I felt sorry for them. Also, they sell your mortgage as soon as the ink dries on your contract. The new company hasn’t paid taxes or HOA fees. My advice: don’t do it

Quality checks poor...many issues questioning the quality of work...very concerning.

Quality is not good for the price that we gave

Lennar sales manager is not customer friendly and don’t want to listen customer issues

Work quality is pretty bad. I still have hole on my ceiling and no one seems to care about it. Hopefully next home purchase won’t be lennar.

The sales experience was easy and great! Many promises during walk through and signing- after that ghost town to any issues

Beware, many homes in our development have had serious plumbing issues and we are hoping we wont have the same. They rush to finish these houses that are there are too many issue with craftsmanship. Customer service has been slow to react due to staffing issues.

The folks that are assigned to help you with issues are so over extended that not much gets resolved Promised deadlines have not been met The quality of the buildings. On some things Are substandard

The materials and majority of the workmanship is subpar at best. I was expecting more from Lennar as I have been in previous developments they have done and didn't see or hear about the issue I am dealing with. When you do get someone to take care of warranty work - they hack and slash it.... instead of correcting flaws the right way, very disappointing to say the least.

Problems keep popping up at this house. We’ve been here five months and I’ve put in probably 15 work orders. The builder slapped this house together without attention to detail or quality control.

Buying process was not horrible. Home has turned out to be built extremely poorly and needs lots of warranty work. Builder also decided to save money by not completing a retaining wall between the properties resulting in 15k in out of pocket expense to resolve eroding steep hill of dirt builder somehow got the city to sign off on. Stay away from Lennar if you want quality for your money.

The trades they use do not do quality work. We have found that very cheap materials are used to cut costs and they are very hard to get out and fix any issues. We have dozens of items waiting to be fixed and our Lennar rep is unresponsive. I’m so disappointed in this company, as the houses cost more than they are worth, and as homeowners we should be able to expect quality for $400k. If we could do the homebuying process again we would not use Lennar. Be sure to get your own inspections done, and avoid Lennars mortgage company if you are able. They have a waiting list of people a mile long waiting for houses, so their customer service is shotty because there are plenty of families who would take the house if you choose to not move forward with the purchase. I felt almost bullied into leaving some of the issues. I just want my home to be safe for my kids and issue free, which is why we chose to buy a new build, but Lennars lack of quality has kept me up at night and made me nervous we didn’t make the right choice. Every single Lennar home in this community has issues, and every neighbor I talk to has their own lists of things waiting to be corrected. Sorry for the negativity, I’m just trying to be real. ...
