A week prior to close out the mortgage agent lack of knowledge brought aggressiveness, anger, inconvenient and tears.

Working with Lennar was a great experience, first of all the great quality of the house and the finishing used. They are fantastic !! Second and most important the warm attitude of the Lennar team was a key decision making for my and my family the whole process was really smooth and they guide me every step of the way... kudos for Lennar Team

We have had problems from day 1. Some to be expected, some not. Immediately upon move in, we found foundation issues, painting that needed to be done, light fixtures that fell out of the ceiling, broken air vent that shouldn't have been installed, broken dishwasher, new cabinetry cracked, broken tiles, shower doors with no weather stripping, front door you can see right outside, not installed properly, garage double door bending in half, missing parts/hardware. Broken sprinkler outside, Most recently just this weekend, we lost AC. Just not what we expected in a brand new home. I have a list that just never seems to be addressed, waiting for workers to come out. ... More

Me and my friends are great fan of Lennar! But by buying experience was terrible!! I completely understand that pandemic has changed everyone's lives but shouldn't have impacted the buying experience. The sales team was rude, mortgage team was impatient and construction manager was contactless! Just that we need a house to stay close to friends, we have continued with the purchase if not would have quit.

I have had several issues with the home that have made me unhappy with the experience. All the breakers in the kitchen blew right away and had to be replaced. Told quality of breakers not good. Also major gaps in garage door that they want a two visit process for. Make it easy for home owners!!! Too difficult to resolve issues.

Realize at present it is a sellers market, but we were given very little imput into what we would like in the property. Advised there would be a “few” steps leading to them main entrance & ended up with 16!!. Width of steps 36 inches, we requested they be widened to 42 inches enabling easier access for our furniture (damaged when being delivered) but advised not possible only to see properties being built now have 42 inch steps. Sales rep. advised she showed every prospective purchaser picture of properties showing steps, unfortunately not true as we & certain neighbors were NEVER shown, in fact the pictures we received prior purchase as advised by construction department was of houses not actually built in our subdivision. Even entrance from garage to house has 10 steps & garage ceiling 19 ft high, how do we change the garage light bulb when requires changing? Garage had to be extended by 2ft to accommodate 2 cars, house advertised as 2 car garage then sales rep. advised it was a 1 x full size car + 1 x compact car, no mention of this in the Lennar literature. Closed on property 04.04.2022., 8 weeks ago & still waiting for glass shower screen to be installed in Master Ensuite Bathroom, internal stairs wrought iron work to be rectified to meet building code & correct installation of dish washer. Every time it rains yard flooded from property at rear, advised when property at rear “sodded” this will rectify problem, but not certain this is the answer & believe a retaining wall is required & agressive grading. Actually an accident waiting to happen as young children could easily be swept away once the water breaches the plastic sheeting presently installed. We have previously purchased new properties & never ever experienced a purchase so one sided in favor of the seller & information provided by the sales rep. proving to be so inaccurate & then actually denied having been said when queried! You obviously should have gathered we have not been impressed by the whole property purchasing process & would definitely NOT recommend anybody to purchase a Lennar built home. Remember it won’t be too long before it switches from a sellers market to buyers market & if Lennar’s corporate office/sales team don’t change their ways of dealing with future purchasers can’t honestly see them selling many homes!! ... It was a great experience from start to finish everyone was professional and responsive to our needs

There have been multiple construction issues requiring call backs for the installers which should have been taken care of before the move in. Wall tile was disposed of in the shower drain resulting in a complete blockage and causing water to leak under the shower pan and walls. It has been 4 week waiting to complete repairs. The warranty staff has been great responding to all issues but very frustrating and time consuming waiting for the installers to repair issues.

2 months In and still have multiple punchoutnissues

If you want a Brand new house that you have to fix, buy a Lennar Home. Outside of the lack of craftsmanship throughout the home and garage, there was very little oversight on the contractors during the building process. We would be told that certain things were being done on the home and then find out that nothing had been worked on in weeks. Our home sat for 12 weeks during the inspection process and was failing inspection due to the issues that were there from the initial inspection. Lennar told us that it was making progress until we saw the actual inspection documents that showed the negligence in the build. There is such a lack of oversight and a lack of caring from Lennar because in this housing climate, they can always find another buyer. Phone calls and text messages would just be ignored and then the construction managers would act surprised when the concerns that were brought up became issues towards the end. We have been in our “new fixer-upper” now for over a month and the quality of work is awful. The finishes from painting to actual framework look as if I would have done them myself. Windows that don’t latch, doors that don’t shut correctly, siding that is missing leaving the home exposed, walls where you can see where they were patched, paint that doesn’t match, raw wood exposed, yard that wasn’t leveled, and bowed walls on the third floor (something we brought up prior to the inspection phase) are just some of the issues. If you are buying a Lennar home, expect to put in an extra $10,000-$20,000 after the fact just because they don’t want to do it right the first time and they hope that you get tired of calling them out. They beat you into submission purely by ignoring or delaying their response by weeks at a time. Buying the home based on layout was easy as they look great. Watching them build the home was a nightmare that made me second guess every penny that we spent on the home. We will keep our fingers crossed. ... More

Everyone has been great. Love Lennar

When I bought this house, I have been told no co-op (buyer’s agent commission). But recently my neighbor told me they had co-op for the real estate agent! And we almost bought the house at the same time at the same street! It is not fair, builder treats buyers differently!

Overall it was a below average buying experience with a few bright spots (personnel) alone the way. Home was delayed four months and quality was subpar. Upon completion, it seems lennar took many shortcuts on these homes. They didn’t provide basics for homes such as doorbells, lights in the front of the house and basic countertops. This is our second lennar home and our first was way better at a much lower price point. This will probably be our last.

Customer facing staff try to resolve issues but number of issues and quality of workmanship does not meet expectations.

Great experience with all Lennar employees, especially Gina and Alex.

The house was mostly complete when we moved in but they never came in to provide the finishing touches despite requests to finish the job. The sales agents were wonderful, the loan process was okay, but the finishing touches just weren't done.

almost 3 months behind schedule even though all supplies were here, would tell us 2 more weeks so we checked everyday, no one was working on house. When we were told a home inspection which we were paying for could be done work in house was not finished you didn't even have a water meter here. One wall had no electricity at all, we were told it was repaired and it wasn't. So many things not taken care of from final walk thru and house was not cleaned. Not sure what ever happened to customer satisfaction but Lennar has none. Neighbors on both side's had same sort of issues. Nice homes but will never buy another one due to lack of caring if your issues are handled or not. ... More

Kelly, Julie, and Tish were so good to work with, during the building of our home.

Quality of materials used for the houses vary too much from one unit to the other and unfortunately your unit might be the one always getting the lowest quality of all.

House is very nice, but I’ve been in the home about two months and I’m having issues. Too many to list. I’m waiting for lennar to set up “warranty” services. Which these should have been addressed at a QC phase.

Kristi was excellent. Always there for whatever I needed. Same with Vance and Chris.
