Lennar was always very responsive to inquiries. The home is great, we love the home and community as well.

This is our second Lennar home and the experience was even better than the first time! Everyone was wonderful to work with in all departments, purchasing, financing, building, closing.

Terrible home inspection and after home purchase experience. Lennar construction managers are all promise non work. They flat out lie. Terrible home ownership. Lennar’s attitude is don’t care, it’s not my home, it’s your home now and your problem

Very poor workmanship, I am still awaiting the clean and move in ready home as promised.

The building process was very good. Enjoyed weekly calls with construction manager and sale person. Everyone made it easy to enjoy the process! Great team to work with!

We love the house. However service after the sale is not good. We have issues that we have shown our construction manager and they have not all been dealt with yet.

Some parts of the house were built with exquisite quality and worksmanship. Other parts were just...not The sales department agents were extremely helpful, friendly and professional. At no time did we ever felt lack of honesty or transparency. More importantly Lennar's agents response to remedy the issues have been above and beyond, It changed our perspective of the whole experience.

Quality of the home is great but I was quite disappointed with the communication of the builder. I got almost no updates unless I pushed really hard. I also was amused by the fact that the home didn't come with a fridge for the asking price.

Connie made everything so easy. Our lender Beth made our loan process so easy and smooth too. Would definitely recommend Lennar to anyone

Took a while to get everything completed correctly, but I attribute all of that to the lack of labor available in todays market. But in the end Lennar stood behind all that was needed to be done to our satisfaction as quickly as they could.

Again. Lannar uses the cheapest materials that they can find. Building houses so fast the Quality of the homes have so items that needed corrected before a purchase is done.Yes we can come back and take care of mistakes which is an inconvenience to the owner. You think of only how fast to build and your profit you make.Employees are nice but that doesn’t take care of the Quality of work. Would not purchase another home by Lannar and will share my experience with friends.

There are a lot of little things in the house that look rushed like floor tiles not level and raised in areas. Our staid have a good finger width gap between the wall and the stairs and the carpet was laid on top of it hiding the error but my 2 year old found it. The downstairs hot and cold were switched so the cold is actually hot and the hot is actually cold. When buying the house we seemed to be told one thing by someone and then another by someone else so the process was stressful when it could have been very streamlined. We were told by a couple of people who would take over in the process next and it always seemed different than what we were told. One or 2 people throughout the entire process would be much more beneficial and less confusing. Waiting until the day before we closed in the house to get approval for the loan is unacceptable and that practice needs to be better because some people give up their rentals they have when they get a move in date at 30-45days out. Underwriting shouldn’t take that long. If it comes down to manning then perhaps slowing down production would help ensure better craftsmanship and help the administration side of things as well. ... Purchased my home when prices and materials were going up, many builders had severe delivery delays. Lennar laid out a plan and delivered a high quality product on time. The sales and delivery/construction staff were professional and they cared about the experience. I would only recommend Lennar as a builder, no others.

Ask questions if you’re not clear on things

Our sales representative and construction manager were very nice however you could tell there was too much on their plate. I constantly had to call to get updates. There was very little proactive updates sent to me. Quality of craftsmanship is embarrassing. Our new house orientation was a joke. We took 3 hours marking mistakes instead of going through how to manage our house.

Communication was poor among the different professionals who I was working with during the home buying process (consultant, loan officer, construction manager, etc.). As soon as I closed, my consultant stopped responding to any emails for assistance with simple issues. There are a number of things that I have found after my initial walkthrough, within my first month of living her (i.e., cracked cabinets, paint flaws, grout flaws) that should have been done right in the first place that are frustrating to deal with now.

There are more than 150 blue tape markers covering everything from numerous uneven floor tiles, gaping at every door frame and baseboard joint, broken window frames, window panes without gas revealing moisture, roof has more than a dozen non-matching tiles replaced before possession, two very visible and disturbing depressions in the roof giving a wave-like image to the tiles, concrete and stucco splashed over window & door frames, the home was not properly cleaned following construction, entry door step plates are dented, scratched and appear to be borrowed from a warehouse, exterior paint has dried to three different shades of the original color, all eaves lack a much needed second coat of paint (easily seen by a casual observer . . . where was the painter?). The refrigerator was severely scratched, apparently at delivery, but was not noted by Lennar and Frigidaire refuses to be responsible, interior paint is so poorly done as to require a complete re-do. Nothing is properly cut-in. Over-spray, poorly cut at wall-baseboards, scratches on the ceiling, missing vent cover in master water closet. Workmen with dirty hands leaving hand-prints, yes, the entire hand, on the attic access panel. The entry door was painted in a rush and none of is clear with over-spray on the window panes, scratches and no painting below the bottom trim panel. Cabinets are poorly aligned & the self-closing function is 50-50. The AC condenser held up the close until one was located at a model an moved to my home - the vents on the unit are bent in numerous locations. Incredibly the list goes on . . . Lennar's customer service reps are stand-up folks but the people who actually built and supervised the construction of this house failed. ... More
