Our new home certainly wasn’t ready to close on closing the date, but we we’re forced to close anyway to avoid penalties. Most of the issues were looked after eventually, but here we are 5 months later and we’re still missing cabinets. Ever day I shake my head at our situation. This is not the first new home I’ve purchased but it is the first time I’ve had these kind of issues. Buyers be aware

There have been a few things that haven’t been great. Carpet was stained before we had our walk through. I called it out and it was bandaid fixed but the stains are all back. We have reports in for a fix but it is taking very long and response times are awful. We have also had issues with our stairs that have been reported and her no response. Disappointed since this is our 1st house. Figured Lennar would of been better than this.

In my opinion, lennar rushes through walk through and there is a lack of supervision while the house is being built. A house should only be allowed to be sold if perfect. Total lack of crafmanship....

The sales team, was great. The floorplan and model of the home is very good. The quality of the materials is fair to good. There have been many problems with Several issues that have arisen since moving in. Air-conditioning issues, electrical issues, water tank issue. I do realize they’re still working on building but the attention to detail prior to moving is substandard. The responsiveness of the team to fix these issues is up to par though.

Painting was terrible on the doors. Drips everywhere. Paint overspray on fixtures, paint on every hinge. Excess caulk around entire floor. Still fixing issues.

Good: Economic house in growing community. Decent neighbors for the most part. Larger yard than other new home options in the area. Plenty of sq footage for the price (compared to other new home options) Bad: Curved Walls and Ceiling Lines everywhere. Like every room or closet. Kitchen appliances and cabinets feel cheap. Painting overall pretty poor. Everything looks rushed without a care about final look. Also poor cleanup with paint splatters everywhere and not cleaned as promised during the new home orientation walkthrough. Having seen the trim before painting, it was very poor ...

Best Loan Officer, Ok customer rep, Bad Sales Rep

We had a very bad experience with our sales agent. No transparency. He was just trying to misfeed the information and push us through closing. We had to push the closing three time just because the home was not ready. Our sales agent thought it was ready for him to close all the three times. I had to fight to push the closing. All I was requesting was to give me a home that's complete by the time we close. It was very stressful to deal with our sales agent since the signing of the contract. He made our first home buying experience a nightmare. Our Lennar loan officer was really good. We ...

I’ll start by saying I’m frustrated which in turn makes me angry. This is my first experience with buying a new home I’ve owned several home in the past none new. I was excited at the possibilities. I closed on May 27th and moved in on May 31st. I agreed to purchase my home on Jan. 31st, 2022, I was giving numerous closing dates which proved to be challenging for different reasons none of which matter now. The process with purchasing the home through Lennar was relatively pain free, I had good communications with all the entities even when I got to the final closing it was well done. 11PM ...

I wouldn’t build with Lennar again. The quality for what I paid is not worth it. I have walls that curve, so many uneven walls, vents and doors. I had a leak my first weekend after move in, in May it’s now July and the hole still hasn’t been fixed. I was also told we would be getting replacement doors for the hvac room and our garage storage door that was damaged before move in and that still hasn’t happened either. Just not worth it.

It wasn’t a bad over all experience, until after you close and there still a list of things incomplete, and they don’t want to do the completion of there build. Then it will become a “process”, and beyond that your home will have a broken fridge and a missing glass panel out of your garage and rooms missing door stops in. Not bitter, just do better.

Our sales rep, Shannon, was the highlight of our experience. What a bubble! She kept us informed of the progress of the house. Our Lennar mortgage lender was very very helpful, but the advent of electronic signatures and the overwhelming number of emails made it a bit burdensome. Our problem came with the quality control. Much of the work was sloppy with obvious oversight from quality control supervisors. Our air conditioning wasn’t working. It turns out there was no power attached to it. Who signed this off that it was working properly? Surely, it must’ve been checked on a checklist. I’ve ...

The experience with Lennar was great until I received keys. After that scheduling was like pulling teeth. Personnel not available and unapologetic. After two months I finally contacted the people who were to contact me for the first month’s walk through. I’ve emailed a few times to schedule for my first week off and it’s Sunday, June 5th and tomorrow starts my week off And there is no proposed schedule or communication. Last email was 5 days ago. Before that probably a couple of weeks with list discussed on walk through. Grass dead when moved in, still looks horrible. Bath fixtures ...

Overall it was a below average buying experience with a few bright spots (personnel) alone the way. Home was delayed four months and quality was subpar. Upon completion, it seems lennar took many shortcuts on these homes. They didn’t provide basics for homes such as doorbells, lights in the front of the house and basic countertops. This is our second lennar home and our first was way better at a much lower price point. This will probably be our last.

We bought at 60% completion and lived locally. We visited every day. Lots of substandard work from the start. The construction manager was responsive but a lot of the crews are independent so he was at their mercy to get them to show up. Two major issues: the concrete patio pad was left off when the foundation was originally poured. They poured a pad but it was not the 4” at each side. There was a hole at one edge that you could put a stick under up to a foot and you could see that it was thin on that side. It was supposed to be handled. Before it got any repair, the grader got that area with ...
