Tuvimos varios inconvenientes: 1. Nos asignaron la casa que no habíamos escogido y la compra se retrasó un mes y medio. 2. La casa la entregaron con muchos defectos de pintura, grama del jardín, detalles en la madera y mal pintada o sin pintura en el garage. 3. La firma de los documentos fue toda una pesadilla. Y nos sentimos mal tratados por parte de Lennar. 4. Solucionar los problemas de la casa es todo una odisea y más cuando eres extranjero y no estás en USA. Realmente no compraría otra casa con Lennar.

Lots of issues encountered!

The community is a good-looking community BUT since we got here, there are TOO MANY issues with the CDC not properly following up with things to do despite there is a major budget. So where does this budget money go? Also, they cancel meetings most of the time and the homeowner have little to say because they do not want to listen during the meetings. Also, gates are not working, sometimes the water fountain stop working, palms are all over the entrance, flowers have not been replaced nor the mulch and the grass looks pretty bad in many houses. Just OK Experience!

Standard Quick construction homes at a decent price, depending upon the location and home plans etc. Construction quality is not great. Customer Warranty service is very poor. I have a HVAC issue going on now over a month, and they closed the ticket by saying fixed and completed. I had to reach out to management, and as usual they were unaware! Overall not so great experience as compared to other builders I deal with.

Lender doesnt put out information as necessary and Lennar Rep doesn't honor their words thats promised

If you buy a house from Lennar, make sure you ask questions all informations that you're confused on because they dont explain things to you to level that you'll understand it and they expect that your comprehension about home buying informations are same as theirs. Another thing, make sure you review all paperworks before you sign the closing or as the notary agent explain stuff to you because again, the lender doesnt put out information to where your "credits" goes to and ours almost didnt get all credited because of lack of communication from lender. Horrible sales tactics. Problems from beginning to end.

This was our first time buying new construction. We thought Lennar was best of the best and instead we encountered problem after problem during the entire process. Sales reps lie. model home, website, and documentation all advertise “everything included” then when you sign off on paperwork and close you find out not everything they said was included is included. Underwhelming at best

Lennar has responded quickly, but after nearly 2 months many issues are still not resolved. The workmanship is poor, and we have been dealing with a very hot upstairs due to A/C issues. The price and location was good, but we have been underwhelmed thus far.

Low build quality, finding problems since day 1. A lot of relatively small issues but they build up and snowball. A lot of it can be avoided by putting in high quality work in the first place. Sales team and home rep are generally responsive but the same can't be said for their lender team.

Lennar mortgage, the customer care team, the guy doing your walk through and the people who close with you are top notch. Lennar sales rep was completely worthless. Threatened us that we were going to lose our condo multiple times, gave no updates on status of our condo, why there were delays. And would only call with news two weeks after we got news from other people second hand. The only reason we stayed was because it would have cost us money to get out. Only showed up at our residence for literally 2 seconds after our walk through even though they told us they would be there hours before.

We had high hopes for building with Lennar but they failed in many areas. Communication was extremely lacking, workmanship was subpar, and the Title company was less than professional. I had previously heard differently from others, but based upon my experience, I cannot imagine referring friends to Lennar.

Bad purchase experience

I can't speak on craftsmanship after only owning the house for 2 months time will tell. But while in process of purchasing the house I worked with Aurora, as my mortgage agent. The amount of incompetence I experienced was astonishing I had to resend the same documents 4 or 5 times I can only assume because she didn't read my whole emails. Even after the house was closed I had issues with her threatening me legally because I stopped responding until I finally had to break down the math myself to show this "expert" how bank accounts work the threatening emails and letters have stopped for now ...

Lennar used to be much higher quality however now has cut many corners to save even the smallest amount of money. They are now a small step above KB even with their "Everythings Included" slogan. The reason I went through with the purchase was the financing incentives.

There are already few items which required us to use warranty. Also, the mailbox key provided doesn’t work and now we have to wait few days and spend time to get it fixed via usps. The handing over went too quick and wish they spent more time in explaining the systems. We were not told that the home prices changed after so many other houses sold, so within 24 hours the price of our house increased $3500.00 and we were not aware of it until we signed the agreement. Lennar said, "Sorry, but that's our policy. The salesperson made a mistake." They still charged us the increase. Then we were assigned a HUB Concierge to help guide us through the transition to our new home. She was awful! She never returned one voicemail and always had an excuse for bad customer service. I have purchased 4 homes throughout my 42 years of life and this was by far the worst experience. The communication is poor when it comes to consistency amongst all parties involved. Closing left all promises largely not met.

Many questions about utilities, HOA, mail box Keys, missing door code access, rig door camera manual, services etc. was not provided. Even house keys were not ready to deliver at closing. They were to mail them to me. they were later found, I had to return after I had signed and left. A master bathroom clogging issue took 3 weeks to be resolved which delayed our move for nearly a month. Water heater and garage door broke withing first month. Two individuals from the final breakthrough actually help covering most of these issues as they took the above and beyond approach to help.

Had an absolutely horrible experience with the sellers agent in getting the unit that I wanted. The agent would not respond to my agent and then I lost out of 3 different properties I was ready to sign and go under contract on. There were no accommodations made which was ridiculous. I also had many issues with Lennar trying to play the role as my Lender making the entire process absolutely horrific. Due to this I will likely never buy with Lennar again, nor would I recommend.

The communication, however, between the Lennar Mortgage and other people involved made the process of buying a home much more stressful. my suggestion to Lennar itself is make sure when people are going to purchase a home from you that you walk through the steps and the different people that they are going to have to deal with for example, the people in the showroom at the track, the mortgage people, the underwriters, and who’s in charge of HOA. A builder who will do anything to cut corners

Lennar is definitely a builder with multiple lawsuits against their name who will do anything to maximize their own profits, by building low quality products with no care whatsoever, like a lot of other builders. All I've seen is lies and fake marketing. Marketed this community as private and gated, while they sold our safety out to the city just to make more profits. One decent thing is the responsiveness of the staff.
