The process went fairly well until closing. Gutters were suppose to be included as an option and we emphatically told the sales person doing the final contract we wanted them. We had even had a specific discussion about that when we were first looking at Lennar homes. We were assured by the sales person we could get them as an option on homes in Brunswick Plantation. He accidentally forgot to mark them off on the final options list. We were buying out of state so could not come down to see it until closing. Been waiting on someone to come and fill up the utilities trench that sunk after a little rain. There's a big hole that stretches all along my back fence where utilities run. I was told they were going to come and fill it and so far nothing. I've been living here since January 25th.. The cheap floor planks are peeling off the floor also.. Osciel T.

Sigh! Most frustrating, costly purchase I made. The Lennar mortgage was the most frustrating. Realator was ok. The warranty guys had some hiccups, but they were probably the shining stars in a full galaxy, but the 3rd parties they use are awful.

A builders grade paradise. We don't know, or we don't do that are the mottos around here. No consideration for the overall ambience of the development, homes are built with lack of the consideration of the ability of the buyers who are new to the area to have access to services and information of availability unless you are willing to be Facebook savvy and trusting of your "neighbors". Air leaks and failing " finishing" touches are common, the washouts of the so called irrigation system are not only annoying but dangerous at times. You get the picture. And it only promises to get worse.

We just bought a house and it came completely filthy. Paint splatters all over the floor. Screen door not fixed as they told us it would be. They just rush you through and pressure you to sign off and make promises that they don’t stick to. Beware on the construction sign off.

- Hard to find the right person to explain the detailed T&C in the contract documents. - No one tells the whole flow, and the progress. Many Lennar internal teams like Lennar Insurance, Lennar Title, Lennar Mortgage, are not talking to each other. As a buyer, I have to explain and reach out each one for any supports needed. - After the closing, not sure when and how can the buyer get the full set of official documents including the registered deed. - The construction team did the sod installation before the mutual agreed date without notice, resulting the huge extra costs and longer time ...

Wow, where do we start? When we actually stepped into the home, it was completely different than what we anticipated. One layout we received didn’t match on the AC units. We should have 2 and they insisted that we were only supposed to have 1 unit in a 2-story 3,000-square foot home. During the walkthrough process, some items were not completed and they still expected us to sign off as if they were completed. Very shady. Good price for the reasonable square foot condo but horrible from final walkthrough through closing day, messy, dirty house with lots of paint, doors, cabinets, roofs etc… problems.

From beginning to end our home buying experience with lennar was disappointing. When we bought the property in November we were told an August finish date and everything was delayed till December the following year. During the time from putting our initial deposit and signing the contract to breaking ground there was no form of communication from anyone representing lennar. Major delays from the start, then rushing to closing. Home was NOT ready during final walk through. Was promised at closing issues would be resolved before closing was over, but 6 hours after closing we still had workers in our home. Concrete was cracked upon move in, lights hanging out of ceiling, walls not painted, appliance parts missing, bowed walls, etc. Over all the structure/bones of the home are great; however the finishes are extremely poor quality. I am very disappointed with my new townhome. LOTS of slipshod work and no attention to detail in making things look nice. LOTS of corners cut. I would not recommend Lennar Builders or my sales person. He never gave updates when he said he would and repeatedly would not return phone calls for weeks.

Service after purchase was much better than during construction. The construction managers were absolutely terrible causing months of delays due to manager oversight on easy things. They promised us closing dates and continued to miss those dates causing us to have to delay selling Two homes and missing the height of the summer market. We then had to store our moving truck contents for 2 weeks costing us 6,000.00 in extra moving fees because they didn’t hit the closing date they assured us they would make. We were happy with how things were going until the last two weeks to close. The Lennar rep dropped the ball and made it stressful. The punchlist items were not completed until the morning we closed. We didn’t get the Welcome Home banner or rug rolled out made us feel like just a number. And lastly there still are no street lights and it gets dark at 5pm was told these would be hooked up 2 weeks ago.

Still am very unsettled about coming in to buy home that was advertised with a red slash through it and advertised as reduced price. Went in on last day unexpectedly when I got email on home sale. Too many bad examples of poor customer experience to list. Our Landscaping is a joke, The warranty system is awful to work with. I would not buy another home from Lennar if they gave it to me.
