The sales reps do a great job. However, when we chose to do everything in house, we expected a well oiled machine. Lennar Mortgage & Lennar Title are anything but well piled. Their lack of communication with me and with each other were absolutely awful. I did way more work than any customer should ever hope to do. So much so that my Lennar Mortgage rep told me that we probably would not have closed on time had I not made everything happen. The quality of the house is good except in the bathrooms. The day we moved in the toilet paper roll holders fell off. I feel like they really skimped ...

Zero transparency during the build. Build was months behind. Closing was a disaster. Quality was very poor for the price Only saving grace for Lennar has been the warranty process, to which they have been very responsive.

Response to warranty issues has been very good. However, the month leading up to our closing was absolutely brutal. We had to pressure Lennar to move the closing date back three times. The different divisions (construction, mortgage, title, sales, etc.) did not communicate with the other. The local construction people had no idea of our original closing date and weren't even close to having the house ready. On closing day the title company (Lennar Title) did not have the closing documents from the lender (Lennar) and we never had a final walk-thru or orientation prior to closing.

The initial purchase process was a nightmare. Steer clear of Michael. That being said, quality seems decent. There have been minor quality issues.

Make sure you ask what color your house is going to be. Didn't know I needed to ask what the color of my house was going to be painted, my bad for assuming they painted houses in neutral colors, which are more versatile. I wasn't shown what the color scheme was going to be so you don't really have any options to choose, it seemed it was either you buy it or someone else will. The construction manager is very responsive and hardworking, kudos to him

Workmanship of the home could have been much better not so impress on how it was put together. Found to many defects backyard could have been leveled much better etc. Eagle Mortage office set me up for failure, informing and was written on my contract that HOA was paid monthly then I get a bill from spectrum stating I had a balance and a late payment fee added to my bill of $40. Spectrum has informed me HOA is paid annually. This could have been avoided if I was given proper instructions. Eaglemortage should be liable for the late fee, since I was not at fault. So the buying process was pretty smooth. My sales rep was Matt. Very helpful answered whatever questions I had. Only issue was I was sold a house that was supposed to have a pretty big backyard but when it was said and done the driveway was really long and the backyard was tiny. By then it was too late to wait for anything else. Plus they picked the poorest rated hoa for the neighborhood.

The home buying experience was tainted by the Lennar company, Eagle Home Mortgage, which made the entire process so stressful and they ignored entirely the impact every delay, and there were numerous delays by Eagle Mortgage. They did not care a little finger that every week they delayed, cost us, the customer, more in lodging, loan points, and utility charges from scheduling service starts, then having to reschedule them, appliance deliveries has to be delayed, orders changed or canceled. Overall disappointed with this purchase, starting with the closing day. Documentation was not available until the afternoon prior to closing and it showed a charge for taxes not due. Amount due at closing was not as agreed. The paint in the whole townhome is basic, low quality, whole townhome needs to be repainted. Garage is very small, you either park your car or place the trash can in it. Bathroom cabinets have no drawers. i'm not sure i would buy a lennar home again. my appliances need to be replaced. air filters were full of grime and dust. lots of issues already and i'm in month #3. lenders were extremely rude and condescending. one lady was nice... lots of loud construction and i've had trash thrown into my yard. i don't know if i feel safe here. buyer beware

Stacked homes, “townhouses” are best described as apartment living. I specifically asked if the neighbors can be heard because no one had moved above or next door yet. I was told No! This is not the case! . I did not sign up for apartment living where I can hear the neighbors every step and move. This was deceiving - there should be honesty and transparency. Now that neighbors have moved in, I hear everything. The only time I don’t hear them is when I’m in the shower.

Since the beginning we had issues. First the list of things from our final walk thru were not completed and I had the biggest headache getting them done. We were never provided a blue folder which explained a lot of things like warranty and other stuff that a new homeowner should’ve known. What really makes me puke is that the lying , cheating project manager was probably glorified even got some bonus because he finished the project almost on time by causing damage to our properties. This guy called Max , turned on the heating system at the time when people are doing sheet rock, then sanding it , all the dust went in to the ducts . I was one of the few realizing the situation demanding a third party clean up. He even cheated on that. I ended up gettin an inspection done to a brand new house.
