Sherwin ans Christi did a very good job. They were very professional in the telephone conversations we had, they answered all my questions and explained in details so that I can understand and make my own decisions. They went above and beyond my expectations and made sure my move in date that I have ask for was achieved.

I didn't know anything about buying a home.. everyone i spoke to had a different experience family friends.. so I went in expecting the bad but I was wrong... From A-Z every one was friendly, respectful and nice I could hear it in there voice ,the email and the phone calls.. Every email,Every task they gave me explained, step by step and sample to understand.. If I had to do it all over again I would choose my loan officer my under writer and lennar builder... Not all heroes wear a cap

The mortgage salesman was not professional and very pushy. I would not recommend using Lennar Mortgage. The building site superintendent was great to work with. If it wasn't for him, I would not have went through with the purchase.

Still wondering about the craftsmanship and materials used in building these homes.

The process of buying our Lennar home took almost all of the enjoyment out of getting a new build. It involved stress and insanity almost as soon as we signed on the line. Be prepared to stand your ground and advocate for yourself. And I'll also say that who you're dealing with affects the stress and insanity levels. For example, our original sales person was responsive and generally great to deal with. As soon as we moved onto the next stages, not so much. First up, we were selling another home. During the Lennar purchase process, we asked for a timeline. We were told that the date we were given was a conservative estimate and would likely get the house sooner. We drove by regularly to check on progress and things were movin' and groovin'. So imagine our surprise when we called to check on when we might want to set the closing date for our existing home sale and found out there was a three-week delay! Now, we've built before, so understand that these things happen. It was less that it happened and more the fact that no one thought to communicate this to us at all. We found out by accident, and it caused major issues with selling our existing house because what homebuyer wants to be in limbo with a closing date? It was terribly bad form. The whole thing left a bad taste. We did work with some higher-level folks to resolve this, and they ended up getting the date moved up a week, so that was good. They were helpful and responsive. But the point is that I shouldn't have had to go and Google the regional director to get help. Then came the inspection. We didn't have to do one, but it's good sense regardless. We coordinated with Lennar, following all instructions on timing and such. We got the report back and MAJOR SYSTEMS in the home weren't operational and couldn't be inspected. Furious didn't begin to describe the reaction to this lovely news. Back to calling the uppity ups to solve that one. Again, they were great, and reimbursed half of the inspector cost. But still, a whole bunch of swirl for no reason. After that, we had our pre-move-in walk through. We went through the things that the inspector WAS able to look at, the rep said they'd be addressed, and of course found other things. Scratches in the floor, holes in walls, etc. Nothing that would raise alarms. They said they'd all be fixed. Okay, because you've demonstrated such great trustworthiness. So then we come back right before close to do the final walk through. I'll leave you one guess to whether the items were addressed. if your answer was "no" you win a prize. Prompting another near melt down because things were again not done as promised. Two months later, we're in the home and we're STILL getting things addressed. I can't even. Then closing. Oh my goodness, closing. What a nightmare. First, we were told to report to a model home 30 minutes away, along with the notary who was told the same, at 10 a.m. At 10:30, no one had arrived to let us in the model home. We called every number we could find. We got in about 10:45. The actual signing of all the things took 20-25 minutes. THEN come to find out that Lennar said they had the wrong address for the realtor, despite the realtor showing them that the paperwork that was sent over was correct. (A them problem, not an us problem.) Conveniently, this was after having received the down payment check. What a realtor's address has to do with giving us our keys, I'll never know. We waited, and waited, and waited, and waited. TWO HOURS LATER I was (I'll admit) literally throwing a tantrum. I wanted to walk away from the whole deal but our realtor said Lennar could sue us despite the fact that the incompetence and audacity was through the roof. Fine. Admittedly, we needed a home so it was a moment of frustration, but totally on them. Glad I missed a whole morning of work for that. (Not.) The whole thing was a colossal cluster. Don't get me started about how we've been paying HOA dues for two months now and still don't have access to the clubhouse. Our neighbors have also told us some interesting Lennar stories about their process as well. I guess we'll all meet at the bar for stiff drinks and vent about it. (insert eyeroll here.) I suppose the silver lining is that we really do love the home now that we're in. Minus the fixes that still need fixing. The floorplan is just what we needed, the open floorplan is nice, etc. The destination is fine, the journey was an exercise in mental health and restraint. ... More

Kristen helped us move quickly to purchase our home. Most of our experience was positive.

The experience was not great . Lennar and the developer do not work together well and simply blame each other and do not correct problem. There is a drainage issue on the property that collects eater across several villas which is not corrected.

Lennar Homes are a great value for the price however be sure to get everything corrected prior to closing. Matt at closing is great but be firm and cordial with your request to fix whatever the issue maybe with the home prior to heading to your closing in B’ham, AL. I was truly amazed at how simple the home purchase was with Lennar. I love my new home just wish that I had a bit more yard space in the backyard. The homes are way too close together.

I'm honored to have purchased this home. With an exceptional, Lennar team. I greatly appreciate the support of Aida during my entire home purchase process with Lennar. Aida helped me and provided guidance every step of the way, including the process of obtaining my VA benefits. Whenever I have concerns or need clarifications, Aida was very patient and would take the effort to promptly provide me with answers and explanations. When I questioned an amount that I wasn’t expecting in the closing documents, Aida respected my concerns and she worked with her team to look into it, and in the end, they were able to correct the error. I can say that Aida was looking out for my best interest and she certainly helped in making my home buying experience reassuring and very satisfactory. Purchased home was not cleaned from construction. Never can reach the HOA. HOA does not enforce rules.

We have a great experience with Lenar. We love the home and the quality of the materials used. It has also been a pleasant experience with the staff. We have no regrets on choosing this builder.

From the first moment I decided to buy my home I was taken care of. This company takes pride in their work and their customers. Loving my new home completely

For a new home, I found so many mistakes, it’s unbelievable. The washer area was flooded, the wall and floor were soaked and stained. They still haven’t fixed it yet. I am concerned there may be mold in the wall now. The wall is yellow with the water stains. The cabinets have small cracks in all of them. If they don’t fix them, I heard when it gets very hot, they will just open. The dishwasher is roasted in the outside, and a few other mistakes. I am so sorry for that review. I hope they fix those mistakes, so my review will be so much better next time.

Everything we picked out for our new home was added to our specifications.

Working with this company has been a very easy process and we are very happy with our new home. The workmanship, products, and style fits our needs and is just what we were in the market for.

Worst, low grade construction.

Lennar Sales Rep and Lennar Mortgage agent made this experience extremely horrid. From the start, sales rep wasn't knowledgeable about what she was selling and gave us false information. Gave us the bait and switch, telling us their mortgage company was going to give us a credit that we could use towards closing, buying down credit, or upgrades. When we opted to use it for upgrades, she backtracks and says it can't be used for that purpose. Both her and the mortgage agent were impossible to get a hold of and when you could speak to them, they make it sound like you're the biggest inconvenience in the world for asking questions. Very disappointed with our experience buying a new home from Lennar. The construction quality and attention to detail were far below expectations for a new build. We found multiple issues that should have been caught before walkthroughs, including roof problems (exposed nails, poorly cut shingles around vents, and unsealed gaps). When asked if all roof vents were inspected, the construction manager said only the items shown in my photos were addressed—concerning for a builder of this size. Without our own roofer, these issues could have led to leaks. Interior workmanship was also lacking, with sloppy caulking, mismatched paint, and uneven finishes. We felt pressured to close on time despite Lennar’s contractors causing delays, and communication with Larry salesperson dropped off midway through the process. Thankfully we had a realtor Whittley, who was professional, supportive, and consistently advocated for us. The building manager, Noe, for our area in Corpus Christi has been phenomenal since we did our walk through. He has gone out of his way multiple times to see if we needed help with anything or just checking in to see how our home is doing. Any issue I have brought up was immediately addressed and corrected. He makes sure the entire area stays as clean as possible even though our entire area is under construction. He has been very professional.

We got a beautiful home for a good price. However, Lennar left the place filthy. We never expected to have to deep clean before moving into our new home. We asked repeatedly about having the home cleaned and we’re actually told it had been cleaned. perhaps Lennar has a different standard on what clean is.There was construction dust everywhere on every surface. An unbelievable about bugs all over the counters and an incredible amount of paint on the floor that had to be scraped off on our hands and knees. Lennar also has not responded to requests to replace a door handle on our siding glass door. We spoke with the construction manager Leesa more than once about replacing a door handle on our sliding glass door that has a huge chip out of it. She repeatedly told us it was on order. Not sure where they’re ordering from but we have not heard anything back about it despite our repeated inquiries. I hate to think what a struggle It will be to get any warranty work completed. The purchase of my new home went smoothly. The videos I received during the build were fun and made me feel a part of the build. They were quick to respond to my questions. I am enjoying my new home.

It was a pleasant experience. Only office staff was rude but otherwise all good.

Since we’ve bought our Lennar home, we’ve seen good, bad & terrible reviews from other Lennar buyers. The home seems sound, but there are small issues we’ve had to address since we moved in almost 2 months ago. I would recommend a home inspection before buying. We did & even though our home had been newly built, there were several things we required to be taken care before we closed. The appliances that come with the home are subpar. If you have the chance to upgrade your appliances, do so! Overall, we are happy with our Lennar home.

Twice there was a punchlist and none of the items got addressed. Still are not taking care of. Can’t get a hold of anybody.
