Overall very easy and straightforward buying process. One big downside is that we were not well informed before we bought this house that there would be more houses being built at the back of our house and the green space with tall trees will all be cut, which is a huge deal for us because that was the most important reason why we bought this house in the first place. We were given a chance to back out the deal at the day before closing and we had been waiting for the house to be built for 4months. Are you kidding me? we wasted all this time to go out and find a dream house and we could easily have gotten a much lower mortgage rate. Now you tell me this???? I felt cheated out of this deal and had no way out and to close on time..... No compensation??? I wish I had been informed about this before I made the decision. ... More

We loved working with Nicole, Randy and Thiago on building our new home. They were truly a pleasure to work with and we love our new home!

I had a bad experience with the prefer lender assigned by Lennar his name is Carlos Echeverry and when I did the closing my house had many unfinished details which were never solved.

Appreciate clearly documented mechanicals and unknowns (such as insulation) and how Lennar stands behind the homes with adequate warranties. Having the latest smart technologies is a huge plus!

This is the 3rd property which I purchased from Lennar in Orlando area, and I will still buy the 4th one from Lennar still for sure!

Buyers need to be aware of what is included in the $80,000 Everything Included package. Here is an example, under features the Ring Security Kit says Ring Alarm Window and Door Contact Sensor. There is only a sensor on the front door and the slider. During the walk-thru I asked where the rest of the sensors are on the other windows and doors. Their answers was it only says window and door (singular). Purchasing a $900k house and they can even add sensors to the rest of the doors and windows which cost $99 on Amazon and I know the builder gets it cheaper since they have a contract with Ring. There are no CAT5 outlets anywhere in the house and it's not even an option. They give you one eero Pro 6 mesh wifi system which only covers up to 2000sq. ft. The smallest house in our community is 3300 sq. ft. We caught that during our walk-thru and they ended up sending us another one so we can get internet throughout the house. A house at this price point they can't even put a $20 drain pan under the water heater. Interior paint is a cheap flat white with no option for upgrade to satin or different color. 4 of our neighbors had their house repainted at an extra cost averaging $4500. ... More

Throughout the home building process Lennar provided weekly updates and shared information transparently if anything held up the ability to meet the target move-in timeframe. The new home orientation was very thorough. This was my first time experiencing a buying in a new home construction community and I was informed by my realtor that Lennar was the most preferred builder. Everything I experienced lived up to this expectation. Also, all employees were friendly and after every conversation, reminded me that I can call anytime I had questions or concerns. During the construction phase, the site manager kept the schedule and promptly addressed any issues that arose. Overall, he helped to make the construction phase stress free.

Builder is professional and care about the customer. Their customer service does follow through with you and your concerns.

The material and workmanship can be improved. What looked good at first sight, later on we found certain things were not up to the mark.

As a returning customer our buying experience with Lennar has not been favorable. They missed delivering home on time, unexperienced construction manager & new home consultant.

When expressing my concerns to builder, they just laughed and ignored the concerns. The builder repeatedly and intentionally stalled providing some key details (especially purchase price) so that they could drive the purchase price up ~$60,000 in 4 months). The quality of workmanship leaves something to be desired (things are already breaking after only 3 months in the home). The builder is unresponsive to requests to correct issues (still waiting for a blind rod to open/close blinds; still waiting for deck stairs to be fully finished (missing side trim) after 3 months

Lennar is great, from Cody, Kerry, David and Joshua . All offer a great service and truly care about their customers. I regret working with an outside agent and not directly with Lennar and Lennar was the most responsive and helpful throughout the buying process. Would definitely buy from Lennar again and recommend them with friends and family. Kudos to the team!

Don't go with Lennar. They have some great people working there, but the company is run poorly. Someone at the top needs to be fired.

Quality of workmanship is barely passable

Lennar Homes has provided us with the best new homeowner experience that we have come across in several years. the most amazing team of truly dedicated and professional people which will go out of their way to ensure every expectation is met for the homeowner.

It's been nearly impossible to find an affordable home. I was relieved to find a new home in a new community. The house is designed well. With that said, the community has been largely built in the absence of an adequate infrastructure. Power goes out regularly. The community ammeneties are still not complete. Contractors are leaving footprints in the concrete and there seems to be no oversight into quality control in a number of areas. Construction sites are littered with bottles and cans and storm sewers are filled with garbage in construction areas. With that said, it is easy to report issues and Lennar sends people out to correct problems in a timely manner. ... More

This is my 2nd new construction, and hands down my best experience. Of course, I had my doubts with my last experience but Lennar checks out all of the boxes I even never had in the first place. I have already recommended some of my friends who were looking for a new build.

My experience with lennar is good

Our construction manager for trails edge in Babcock ranch was awesome . His name is Cannon and her was super responsive and followed up quickly on all of our issues. He should be used as a role model to all other managers under Lennar,s leadership. We heard so many horror stories from other buyers. But during our closing process Cannon, Joseph- salesman and Dana - Home loan manager also made us feel at ease. Thank You

That everyone is so willing to help

We purchased during a hot market and there was no flexibility with Lennar. They were also very sltow respond if you had questions. With that being said we are happy with the house we purchased with a few minor things we will have to fix.

Build quality seems to be good. Time will tell on that. Finish was during winter, so it has to be repainted since it was done at 42 degrees and rain that night and temps dropped into the 30's. Lennar said they would do that. House was settling within a couple of weeks where drywall nails were showing and cracks and peeling at ceiling to wall junction on second floor were apparent. Said they would fix at 1 year walk thru and took care of immediate ones right away. Customer service on issues after move in was excellent. Ruby was fantastic. No squeaky floors, fit and finish is good. Delays due to not being able to get appliances on time(true for all builders) but not able to upgrade from base grade.
