High pressure from sales. Had to push back to get time to read the many documents. That became a trend throughout the whole process. After the decisions were made it was revealed that the pressure and deadlines were made up. Assurances made were fast and loose. Not all of them panned out. Finance was a mixed bag. The loan officer was knowledgeable and responsive. One of his team members wasn’t handling our communication properly but she was replaced with a much better one upon request. The Lennar team was very personable, but it’s clear they are overextended, with more work than they can reasonably manage. As the home neared completion, the contractor’s quality noticeably declined. The finish work was subpar, and it appears the focus was placed on quantity rather than quality.

Overall, construction choices feel slapped together with no fore-thought on the completed project. Lower quality trim shows areas that should have been sanded smooth prior to painting. Have had an issue in my yard since day one, and have been tossed between HOA and Lennar for resolution. I had high hopes for this next chapter in my life.

The homes are average build. The quality of the materials used are subpar. These homes are not forever homes. Please get a good home inspector and ensure Lennar addresses the issues found. The Lennar Mortgage Company is horrendous and just flat out terrible. They are very unorganized and the underwriters are incompetent. The delays to closing are purely on Lennar Mortgage. They do not compensate or accommodate for the delays. IF you decide to buy a Lennar home, just be ready to have a Full-time job going back and forth with them to close on your home.

Process started with Lennar website posting of house and not honoring price posted. Thank goodness hired my own inspector. Paint in outside drains (illegal in CA), HVAC pad uneven causing vibration and noise, hump in roof and separation of tiles.

Most of the salespeople were the WORST. I sent the same scanned documents over and over again but was repeatedly asked for them by various people in different states .One finance person emailed me every day for six days in a row asking me for documents that had been sent. He didn't respond to my texts or emails and finally admitted he never opened the files I had sent. The same happened with another rep in another state. My last name is 6 letters long, but it was REPEATEDLY misspelled in documents, even on the day I signed the final documents with the Notary. My SSN was entered incorrectly ...

There was a site manager, everyone was calling him TK. He made me sign the pre-check list completion before the closing and verbally confirmed one of the issue with the patio door was fixed. I believed him,lol. When I checked it, it was not, I let him know he said he will take care of it by end of the day. But It was still not fixed. I had to request a warranty repair. On the other hand the warranty departman gentleman Gary was great. Good follow up, helpful. We started our Lennar experience on a very positive note with Ty, the on-site sales representative. Everything went down hill from there. We were contacted via email by sooo many different Lennar representatives that we couldn’t keep track of who needed what and when. The home buying experience was not what I thought it should've been. I was underwhelmed by the whole process. The only solid experience was with the timeliness with showing of houses and response time from anything I needed with Lennar Sales Rep. Otherwise, the Lennar Mortgage team needs to be reviewed as well as Lennar Construction team. Lennar Mortgage and Escrow Title did not give my refund back in a timely matter and did not give it back in the method I noted from the start. I've been here for two months and unfortunately I'm having some issues. The CO2 alarm has already gone off five times for no reason. Two devices have already been replaced, and the problem seems to persist. The toilet on the first floor was uneven, requiring three days of repair work to fix it. This is my second home purchased from Lennar in four years. In both instances a water pipe was punctured multiple times when the microwave snd kitchen cabinets were installed. Both times my kitchen had water damage and I had to wait a month to have the repairs done. New kitchen- torn apart for a month- twice. My garage door opener still loses power. Not repaired. Two months in. Quality is poor. The price is lower than other counties but the quality control needs improvement.

The process of buying was easy, I signed to take the house off market and received a closing date within a month. Received the house but front door lock was faulty. We expected little problems would come up after purchasing and I can say the personnel were very good about responding to concerns. Unfortunately, the quality of the building construction is very concerning. The wall in my primary bathroom is not properly centered (a window that should be in the center is 4 inches off line).

I purchased a new construction home and unfortunately it was not the greatest...or even a good experience. The new homes sales rep did not seem knowledgeable when asked questions and on at least 3 occasions told me things that were not true about finishes and the lot. The structure of the home seems good. However, the finishes were not done thoughtfully or carefully at all. Sloppy paint (on the flooring, cabinetry and spots on carpet), caulking on doors and cabinetry that is very thick and stands out in spots, low quality appliances and finished products. I would avoid Lennar knowing what I know now about the company and quality of their homes. They have admitted to utilizing a fast pace low quality model that I feel lends itself to poor craftsmanship, unaccountability, and a propensity to only be concerned with the bottom line.
