Very prompt in replying to and issues or concerns.

The overall process was great, Liz was so easy to work with and gave us so many updates. As far as the inspection process, and move in, there were some issues.

It has been 1 month that we have moved-in, but we have had 3 flat tires, which I had to change 2 of tires due to nails inserting side wall of my tires. The construction team must stop dropping nails in the sidewalk and street / in front my driveway. I would like to be compensated for my cost impact.

Overall a very good experience

Very nice houses, however, it would be misleading if I did not mention the room for improvement. I have bought and sold a dozen houses over the last several years and had to pay fees with Lennar that I have never been asked to pay before. In addition to the fees I would expect the builder/seller to pay, it is fairly obvious that corners were cut in an effort to maximize profits. For example, the home only comes with one garage door opener, although there are 2 garage doors. Also, the driveways have a corner cut off in front of the third garage door, making parking in that spot a challenge if you have a larger vehicle. Thorough building experience from building to end.

The quality of the home got worse (we bought another home from Lennar 4 years ago), as well as the service. We have placed multiple orders to fix different things in the house and you get redirected to garage door company, door company, trash can door company, AC company etc. Nothing gets fixed in the first attempt ,it seems that Lennar thinks you have to be stay home homeowner to fix all the flaws.

Your project manager never once returned a phone call after he gave me his phone number

Unfortunately, the items that we pointed out through out our building process were not addressed and then during our NHO and final walk thru all items were still not addressed and now we are 45 days since closing and we are still having to work thru these issues. Overall the quality of the contractors you contract with is below subpar and the fit and finish on the house is just not good. We would not recommend Lennar to our friends and family.

Chad and Ray were both incredible on the buy and also resolving any small issues and we are living in our dream house now thanks to both of them making it a dream experience!

From the beginning to end, the entire Lennar team made everything easy. As a first time home buyer it was a wonderful feeling having such knowledgeable people on my side.

Sales are unprofessional, missed a few documents when it comes to signing something. Build quality feels like they rushed to complete the construction. Due to the current market situation, we didn't have a choice but to accept.

We would have appreciated having choices with the granite and flooring. The painting on the walls and trim were quite sloppy. After all that said, we love our villa with the changes we made. We got a great price and are enjoying the neighborhood.

TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION !WE WERE NOT INFORMED ABOUT A DELAY ON OUR HOME BEING BUILT UNTIL WE MADE LENNAR AWARE THAT OUR HOUSE WAS RUNNING MONTHS BEHIND.... WE CLOSED 2 MONTHS AFTER THEIR "WORST CASE SCENARIO DATE". THEY HAVE TOO MANY PEOPLE INVOLVED AND THEY DO NOT COMMUNICATE WELL WITH EACH OTHER OR THE CONSUMER... MAIN PROBLEM IS ETTA , HE A SALESMAN AT LENNAR AND TELLS EVERYONE THAT LENNAR STANDS BEHIND WHAT THEY DO, BUT THATS NOT THE CASE... THEY HAVE SCREENED IN PORCH AS A STANDARD FEATURE ON ALL OF THEIR HOMES IN WILLOW SQUARE. ETTA TOLD US THEY DID NOT INCLUDE IT IN OUR ORDER AND THAT THEY WILL NOT INSTALL IT, EVENTHOUGH THEY HAVE INSTALLED EVERYONE ELSES IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD, AND SAID WE COULD FIND SOMEONE TO INSTALL IT FOR AN ADDITIONAL $1500.00 TO 2,000.00 DOLLARS. WE GO TO OUR CLOSING AND WAITED 3 HOURS TO GO HOME HEARTBROKEN AND CONFUSED. ETTA WOULD NOT ANSWER HIS PHONE WHILE WE WERE WAITING, AND WHEN HE FINALLY DID - 3 HRS WAITING AT THEIR OFFICE - HE SAYS THE COUNTY DID NOT SIGN OFF ON A FORM.... AND NO APOLOGY , OK ATLEAST TELL US INSTEAD OF HAVING US TAKE OFF WORK FOR NOTHING! AFTER WE CLOSED AND MOVED THEY FAILED TO INSTALL SEVERAL THINGS AND REQUESTED TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR ONLY TO GET AN ANSWER FROM ETTA SAYING THERES NO USE, I HAVE ALREADY ASKED THE MANAGER , AND THAT I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER... THEY ALSO RAISED THE PRICE DUE TO " MARKET CONDIITIONS" AND TRIED TO PLAY A GAME OF BIDDING WARS EVEN THOUGH THERE WERE NO OTHER BUYERS BIDDING, THEY JUST SAID THIS IS THE NEW PRICE - 30K HIGHER THAN ADVERTISED. SO IN SHORT THEY DO NOT MAKE ANY GOODWILL TO MAKE THE CUSTOMER HAPPY, AND TELL THE CONSUMER WHAT THEY WANT TO HEAR! ... More

They said the the repairs would be done 5 days after closing now I have been my home for 7 weeks and still no work has been done word to new buyers don't sign at closing until the home is done

We recently purchased a Columbia home model with Lennar. The process went smoothly with their lender and title company. Our loan processor was awesome. There were other minor issues but they fixed them after our initial walk through, which was great. Thank you Lennar!

Poor workman ship Had to request VP sales to assist me to get things fixed

Hi Lennar team, overall stands tall in the things they promised and deliver. Quality of the product, Construction qlty, managers like construction managers, Title team, Support team, concierge team standsout on their exemplary support. except few issues - specifically the sales guys behavior, ILG the design studio are the bad experiences.

The house is beautiful, but I have to place about 10 service request to fix different kind of issues like drywall holes in the bathroom, celling and others areas, electrical connections, stucco issues around the house, paint issues inside and outside of the house, cabinets, celling, about 30 broken paver’s. The inside house are very dirt. When we do the walk trough one week before closing Lennar bring me promise to fix the issues before they bring me the house and nothing happens I have to place the service request because they don’t do anything. I have toured numerous Lennar model homes in the past and decided to purchase a new construction home with them. I signed the contract in 2021 and they unfortunately transitioned to an inventory system where you have no choice in a lot of the main features. This includes the front elevation type and color scheme. This applies to a lot of the other options as well. During the celebration and the early days after moving in, we noticed a lot of quality issues. Almost all of the door handles, some of the light switch plates, some of the floor vents were crooked. The installers did not even use a level. One side of the fireplace had the stones stacked in glaringly crooked manner. One of the front porch pillars had a large dent the size of a grapefruit. The garage door frames have a lot of dings and scratches. An electrical outlet was not working in the basement bathroom. The electrician admitted to an error in wiring which was not noticed during installation. The central vertical wooden corbel in the front of the house has a large crack. I don't know why it was installed in this condition. When we moved in, I was given the wrong garage door code. The garage itself was dusty and had dried grass and debris along the sides. There was not sod yet and it took a month for Lennar to clear the front yard area of construction debris and trash. It is unfortunate that when it was my turn to buy a Lennar home, I did not get the quality I expected. I was told the exterior issues will be addressed when the weather gets warmer. After seeing the model home I was excited to I purchase one. But when we came to do the 1st inspection it was pretty bad. I was not impressed with the quality of workmanship. It looked like there was no pride with the work being done. We chose to complete the sale and work on making the home look better. And fixing what was wrong.

i had the worst possible homebuying experience. this is our first house and lennar shattered all our dreams of having a quality home that we dreamt of for years. First off, our house was not even ready to be walked in by NHO. Our inspector pointed out major structural issues, roofing issues, cosmetic issues, you name it, before NHO, most of which were not taken care of in time, falsely claimed to have been fixed + their sloppiness delayed our closing. They did not even take ownership of their faults. They even removed some blue taped items without taking care of them. When we moved in the house it was in the worst condition possible, so unclean that it did not look like a new home. They have wasted so much of my time. I have to point issues to them over and over again, they are not capable enough to do a walkthrough themselves to identify issues and fix. It's been over 2 months and I am still dealing with the items that should have been fixed prior to closing. Quality of work is so poor, there are significant squeaks and pops still. They do not even deserve a penny from me! Terrible experience! ... More

Pros: Lennar has great houses to offer. I'm satisfied with their design and abundant features. Cons: Lennar's purchasing process is not as streamlined as other competitors. Their departments and affiliated agencies do not seem to be in close communication. I had to make extra effort contacting them to push things forward. I was anticipating to be instructed at every step of the process so I would know exactly what's next. This did not happen. I hope Lennar, as the number 2 builder in the country, would spend more effort to work out an tightly orchestrated workflow for buyers, and guide the buyers at each step. More usefully, if the construction manager/sales can work together and provide construction updates with photos, text, email, that would be even better. There were also some problems with the appliances before/after closing. It took a while to get those issues addressed. After closing, Lennar would not help with appliances, and instead they referred us to the manufacturer. But all the issues we had were all caused by the poor installation quality. So, bring your own home inspector on the walk-through day to save troubles after closing. Summary: I would buy again from Lennar due to its great design. When I'm told something is going to happen by the job supervisor and then make excuses that it is not happening on that date. BE HONEST HONEST HONEST.
