It was hassle for to close my house plus finishing wasnt done properly. Last moment my closing docs was messed up and i opened tickets to fix issues.

My experience with Lennar was less than exciting and fun. However, I am Very pleased with my home. There were delay after delay. There were a few people trying to push and help but at times it seems that I was told things to quiet me. My overall experience was not fun and took the excitement away from the experience of home buying. The seller agent that was on sight? I barely heard from and I had to contact her for questions. Just a mess. But Overall I am happy with my home after waiting to close after a year and six months wait.

We signed our agreement at the height of the housing boom and it wasn't a great experience. You had no choice in model, colors, or anything except the lot. Also, was constantly told the price was going to go up if we didn't sign right away. By the time we moved in the housing market was plummeting and the experience changed to be more pleasant. The folks at Lennar were more responsive and seemed to care more about our issues/questions. It's sad that high inflation, high interest rates and a mini recession was what it took for Lennar to provide a better customer experience.

We have had issues ever since we closed on the house and it was like pulling teeth getting them fixed. The only person that actually helped us was Derrian and he was/is awesome, as he is still helping fix the last remaining issue. We never received our 30 day TLC that we were told would be happening, we just received an email asking how it went but nobody came for it nor was it scheduled. I understand these are homes going up really fast but I at least would like everything to be working/minimal issues for the price we paid.

First of all, my last name is incorrect. Even in this email for review. I sent at least 10 email and had 5 phone calls over this issue. Half of my paperwork has the wrong name. Same with my dad‘s name, it’s spelled wrong. Even on closing date to sign the docs for the title we had to go a second time, even then it was wrong. So we signed them with the name spelled wrong. After the closing, I still get emails, requesting documents. Even now after 2 months. It’s very unprofessional and annoying. We want to enjoy our home but we have issues after issues. Everything was pleasant except the experience with Lennar Mortgage. The loan officer was clueless about what was going on. I worked with Lennar Mortgage before but they were all knowledgeable and were prompt. This was a very bad experience.

Be cautious when purchasing in a booming market. Houses are being built fast. In turn quality of workmanship diminishes. Ask about material being used. For example tile, carpet, cabinetry. Be aware. Solar isn't listed in the purchase price and is a add on. You can either purchase or lease. I would recommend purchasing to receive the tax break.

The sales reps do a great job. However, when we chose to do everything in house, we expected a well oiled machine. Lennar Mortgage & Lennar Title are anything but well piled. Their lack of communication with me and with each other were absolutely awful. I did way more work than any customer should ever hope to do. So much so that my Lennar Mortgage rep told me that we probably would not have closed on time had I not made everything happen. The quality of the house is good except in the bathrooms. The day we moved in the toilet paper roll holders fell off. I feel like they really skimped ...

Response to warranty issues has been very good. However, the month leading up to our closing was absolutely brutal. We had to pressure Lennar to move the closing date back three times. The different divisions (construction, mortgage, title, sales, etc.) did not communicate with the other. The local construction people had no idea of our original closing date and weren't even close to having the house ready. On closing day the title company (Lennar Title) did not have the closing documents from the lender (Lennar) and we never had a final walk-thru or orientation prior to closing.

Make sure you ask what color your house is going to be. Didn't know I needed to ask what the color of my house was going to be painted, my bad for assuming they painted houses in neutral colors, which are more versatile. I wasn't shown what the color scheme was going to be so you don't really have any options to choose, it seemed it was either you buy it or someone else will. The construction manager is very responsive and hardworking, kudos to him

The home buying experience was tainted by the Lennar company, Eagle Home Mortgage, which made the entire process so stressful and they ignored entirely the impact every delay, and there were numerous delays by Eagle Mortgage. They did not care a little finger that every week they delayed, cost us, the customer, more in lodging, loan points, and utility charges from scheduling service starts, then having to reschedule them, appliance deliveries has to be delayed, orders changed or canceled. I love my house, the workmanship is great but I am very disappointed that the swimming pool will not be installed until the summer or 2021 when I was told it would be built by 2020. Management has not reached out to make accommodations for us to perhaps utilize nearby facilities until the pool is place. Also there has been a recent decrease in the value of townhomes in Grand Bees which is very disconcerting.

We were told if we didn’t close by May 30th we wouldn’t get the special interest rate, our original closing date was June 17th, we moved it up to help them meet a quarterly quota. Our agent informed me that this was one of the top three worst and most challenging buying/selling experiences he’s encountered in his entire 10-year career in real estate.

It was unfortunate that we had to provide the same documents over and over again to the mortgage representative. We kept getting asked the same questions about which we’d already answered. The shower enclosure is not safe for folks who are 6’ tall and the builder would do nothing about it. The new home representative said I couldn’t park in the drive way because the driveway still belonged to Lennar. Overall a poor showing.

Lennar charge 2% of the sale price for not closing in time. If you live out of State, Making sure communicate directly to Title Dept that you need mobile closing. Dont trust the Sale agent. I paid $4800 for this matter. It was a trap!

Everything was great except the sales rep Bryan. He doesn't return calls very unprofessional. He was the only downside of the process. He was not there when I closed they had to call someone else to give me my keys which took an hour. It is once he received my deposit he turns cold. Even when I first applied he didn't return calls to follow up. Thankful for the loan officer and others but the sales staff should be replaced. I would not recommend anyone to purchase based on his professionalism but everything was great

I found it extremely frustrating that the walk thru time is dictated by lennar and not the buyer. I asked them to send me a calendar invite and was told " we don't do that". My experience with david weeklyvwas amazing and they worked with the buyer. Lennar has a very military like feel to the home buying experience. Cheap materials in everything cabnets the paint horrible finish work from the workers I can't even imagine the inside the walls or areas un able to see. Everything is the cheapest materials you can buy. Lennar is top leaders supposedly, so unfortunately that they use the cheapest quality and the houses are not the same price as the cheap crap they use.
