We had a rough experience from start to finish. I highly recommend being patient with the team as behind the scenes; they are working with a whole town of issues from third parties errors and neglect. I feel it's more on the contractors than Lennar themselves. Rest assured, Tony from our area has empathy and will work hard to make sure the issues get resolved. It takes some time. Our turnaround for matters to be resolved is about 30 days or less. We are shocked to see a new home is in such poor condition and has so many shortcuts, which lead to other issues. Had very bad experience, Lennar pushed to close on 8/31, today 10/18 and we still have many things not done. A huge hole in a countertop, horrible painting, many things around not done . Contacted Lennar SALE PERSON, AND MANAGER NOT HELPFUL AT ALL

Over all my experience with Lennar was not so good as I expected. Everyone wants to buy a house at least in so good condition as seen visiting demo house. But unfortunatelly Lennar has a lot space for improvement... Twice was changed the closing date...it costs me, of course. I was shocked for the amount of undone jobs and broken materials, building materials were laying all around house, unclean pool, unpainted walls, unfinished frontyard etc. during New Home Orientation. Not a good experience unfortunately because the agent terrible attitude and lack of experience . Don't work with Nicole ! Opposite experience with the builder team: they were great, very collaborative, and delivered our home at our 100 % satisfaction

When we first began the process it started off good with our sales agent. Once the actual building started of the home is when miscommunication started happening/misinformation from sales agent. Horrible closing experience. The construction manager didn’t even show up for the final walkthrough. We were scheduled to close at 1PM but closed on 12AM that same day. And the house has a bunch of issues that have not been addressed. Horrible organization and even worse communication.

Not the greatest experience

We were dragged through the mud on getting our site selected, then having to suddenly bid on the lot and then getting lots of conflicting dates for completion (they were still cleaning and laying sod after closing and we were moving in). Two months later our pre-close checklist is not complete and warranty work is not done on days promised with no call or explanation. We love the neighborhood and location, but Lennar is tough to work with. Get ready to fight for your rights.

Lots of technical issues and contractors not available to fix

Delays cost me hundreds of thousands $

Lennar delayed the building because of the elevator. Well that delay caused a net increase on my Mortgage interest rate of over 2 points. Which is a lot. Lennar didn’t care. Lennar also cost me another $35k by playing games at closing and tried to delay me again and cost me even more.

Landscaper is HORRIBLE!!!!!

I have had problems with the landscaper and have absolutely no help getting the problem resolved! I had an agreement with Debbie from Double H as of 8/25 to install the rest of my sod for $525 when they finally got around to installing my sod that came with the home, which was already 3 weeks late. I emailed her on 9/9 to find out when the install was and she doesn’t reply until 9/12 at 8:26am and says they are installing that day but they are no longer installing for homeowners. Disappointed with purchase of home

My buying experience has been very disappointing. The quality of workmanship throughout the unit is poor and not what I expected for a property that cost $600K. Cabinetry, flooring, painting, backsplash are all substandard and I have call backs for all areas. Air conditioning unit is so loud it sounds like the runway at the airport and I’m continually told they are “working on it”. It seems these properties are just thrown up and they move on with no regard to quality.

Poor follow up, it's been a frustrating experience. I have owned 6 houses and never had the issues I am having here at Lakewood National.

The issues I saw during my walk through have not been address for the past 9 weeks. The Condo was dirty when we got here 2 weeks after our closing. Getting help through the Lennar warranty department now.

A nightmare process but a fine home.

Houses were slapped together quickly. New home had sloppy workmanship, garbage and extra materials were left in the home, and a light was literally hanging out of the ceiling by a wire, upon moving in. Disappointing for the price paid for the home. The closing date was pushed back day by day, which made hiring movers, a nightmare. It was pushed back over a week with little to no information of why. The home is beautifully designed but the process and craftmanship need improvement.

very disappointed at the quality of work that was done with the house. The first week we moved in the AC wasn't working properly. then a week later went completely out and we needed to get a brand new AC unit. a lot of cracks on walls and floor boards. There's an issue with the design outside that it still not been fixed. The dishwasher seems like it was not installed properly because it takes couple of attempts to actually close the door. Big home builder with bad communication

Overall the process of booking home was smooth but after that it was a train wreck. Nobody, I mean nobody bothered to communicate when home would be completed. It was only after asking them almost once week they would reveal how long the delays are. My interest rate went up 50% during this time. What a shame. After closing, it took 6 weeks to take care of very minor issues. Things like paint touch ups took long time even though they were painting next door. I will think twice before buying from Lennar again.

Not friendly and my way is highway attitude

Sales representative Mary Ann is the very rude and not responsive to address the question and refuse to meet in person despite repeated attempts. Home orientation session is rushed and don’t cover everything but expect the DocuSign be signed which makes it one way and not two way. Overall, Lennar do not have customer empathy as a service and not a satisfactory feeling. They are not trust worthy when reported the damage on delivery and don’t practice the code uniformly. I will not buy a home with Lennar next time

Make sure EVERYTHING unfinished or unsatisfactory is done LONG before you close. MONTHS after closing, still outstanding issues. Lots of lip-service, slow to respond and slower to address.

This is my 3rd new construction home and without a doubt it was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I spent a fortune on airline tickets (canceled flights, last minute rebooking, lost rental car, Uber) to get to the “blue tape walk through” to find my home without: a/c, water heater, toilets, countertops, broken windows…the list goes on. I was then pushed to close the following week in the hopes that it would be finished. I will say that the house APPEARED finished, but with crappy workmanship.
