It was 14 month of screw ups and problems. Being told things that would or will never happen. Very frustrating and expensive for us to find a place to live for all the months. When I called to complain about the length of time it was taking I was told very sarcastically that I should read the contract and they have 2 years to build the house. It was screw up after screw up until Rob took over as superintendent. I would never ever recommend Lennar to anyone

Lennar responded:
Hi Daniel. Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear about the long history of unsatisfactory service. We are especially sorry for broken promises, poor customer service and communication. The home itself is beautiful and the quality is impressive and everything we wanted. The buying and financing process was a non stop headache of poor communication and blatant deception. Supply chain issues and construction delays are very difficult to handle especially since they are not properly communicated. Waited 4 weeks for an essential steel beam to be delivered just to wait two more weeks for work to start again after delivery. Throughout that entire time the Lennar team blatantly lied about delays and timelines. We love our finished home. Would not recommend anyone building a new ...

There were too many defects and incomplete issues with the home when we had a 2 hour orientation. Instead of being able to pay attention to the orientation we spent the time placing blue tape and could’ve used many more hours. One the final acceptance walk a week later it was better but still needed more than the 2 hours allocated to mark. Issues. It was clear that Lennar project managers failed to provide quality control of their vendors and also failed to inspect and make punch lists before we inspected the home expecting Us to do that. We provided 3 weeks full access to the home for ...

We purchased a model (Prescott) that Lennar did not model on-site at the community we were buying in. Therefore they used a virtual 360 Tour online to let us “walk through” the home virtually. They assured us that the online tour represented the home accurately. The tour showed several high-end structural options in the home such as a gorgeous butlers pantry with glass faced cabinets, and dual shower heads/controls in the master shower, as well as tray ceilings in several rooms. Keep in mind that Lennar is an “everything’s included” builder so their models are “what you see in s what you ...

They do not check houses, appliances, smart devices, etc. enough before closing. They think it is best to just wait for the buyer to complain after closing, and then they try to be “customer friendly” but they are usually too busy to take care of the many problems that should have been taken care of before closing, Most appliances our of the lower value.

They put a lot of pressure to close on a date in which only Lennar Mortgage can comply with date. I did try to use other mortgage bankers but with penalty of $5,000 if they did not meet the closing date I was forced to use Lennar Mortgage, which by the way did not offer the best interest in comparison with others.

Frist time buyer experience was extremely stressful. I felt like I was being bullied for using my own Lender which I had stressed using from the beginning. Hone feels like it was just thrown together. I've already had to tighten up cabinets, toilet paper rack fell off, had to purchase extra power for garage, no gutters included so rain just runs o to porch, super small garage.

We were excited to move into our new Lennar home, but quickly ran into problems that were not uncovered during the pre-close inspection. Roofers did not cap one of the dyer vents which left a 4" opening right into the home resulting in water damage that Lennar did fix. Sheetrockers completely covered an AC vent into the den. Had to bring the AC subcontractor back to get in the attic, find it, and cut the sheetrock and install the vent register. Entry doors didn't seal (outside light shining through). Had to bring them back to install inserts to correct. The finish painting (doors, baseboards, ...

Really wish they would've taken there time more. You can really tell the house was rushed with quality of workmanship. I would've liked to move into a new house and not a 90% complete house. The first month was nothing but people coming fixing holes, texturing walls, painting, stucco repair, washing machine flooding, two windows not opening, damaged cabinets, missing/damaged molding, etc. It was quite irritating having tradesman in our house fixing things on a house that wasn't finished. Take your time and if the person working at the office cannot Focus ask for someone else. I could have included more things I wanted after I spoke with neighbors. Also when I signed I would call and ask questions and never a response. Also contact Lennar Higher Level and Basically they protected the employee and only excuses. I liked the All Included but was it worth it? First Impressions stay with a person. Homes in Florida are not the Standard I expected. No interiar wall insulation for example

My experience with Lennar was mixed. I asked about purchasing a five-bedroom home at the same price as a four-bedroom with a home office, but was told the incentives would only apply to the four-bedroom option. The home was already pre-selected, so I didn’t have the opportunity to choose finishes or customize features. I also requested doors for the office space but was told that couldn’t be accommodated. Overall, I would give the experience a rating of two stars.

The main factor contributing to this low rating is all the incorrect information we were fed along the way by the new home consultant/agent. The most egregious being that we were told they would NOT be building any neighboring houses to one side of us. The agent even chuckled when I asked if we would have a neighbor on that side of our house because there was a big hillside appearing unsuitable to build a home on. I asked this question multiple times during the initial visit. This home had a $10k site/lot markup and we assumed it was due to the perk of having no neighbors on one side. After ...

From the start the buying process was terrible. It took up until closing to know if we were good to go for the loan from lennar mortgage. We were originally scheduled for a walk through the beginning of May. When we drove 4 hours for a 9am walk through, we were notified on site at the house that the walk through was moved. No one communicated this with us. The only formal documentation was sent 24 hours after our walk through. Do not trust the settlement contact to reach out to you.
