Overall a good experience. One improvement would be how information is provided. The building process is several months long and some info is given too far in advance. The buyer is not ready for it and it gets lost or hard to find again. Getting the names/sources for all the utilities for instance. I was instructed to go to MyLennar (or one of the Lennar sites). From there was told info wasn't available, need to go to the development's web page. From there was told info didn't exist for that area. Frustrating. A pre-made packet for each development would be a great service to provide the new homeowner. Also, there are quite a few people reaching out to you in the process. We signed for new construction in mid April 2021...we're given a tentative closing estimate of 10/31/21 to 11/14/21. Then, after obtaining permit approvals in late May...the delays started...ground was not broken on our house until September. So a 4 month delay. Covid was said to be the reason for all delays. Understandable at 1st. Then we saw homes signed for "after ours" closing in Sept...Nov and Dec. Covid did not prevent some homes from moving forward to close. It seemed to my wife and I that the original CMs had forgotten about us and it was very, very frustrating. In October, we connected with a "new CM", Mike. The meeting was initiated by our wonderful salesperson, Susan. Mike had arrived in Trinity Lakes to help push builds forward and he did help to expedite the build on our house. We were very appreciative of his efforts. Our salesperson had been communicating with the previous CMs every week and provided status updates, which we very much appreciated also. But, in my opinion the initial CMs did not follow a "first to sign" protocol regarding priority in home builds. All that said, a second CM, Kyle, was later assigned to work with Mike and together they completed our home in late February. They provided us with a top quality construction build!! So what is the old saying "Anything worth having is worth waiting for"? Irregardless of all our woes...we love the home and community, beautiful, peaceful countryside and gorgeous sunsets over the lake! Even with the delays...10 1/2 months after first signing...I would still highly recommend Lennar for the top quality product! ... More

I love my model in particular and the idea of a complex with so many amenities.

Our home was closed in February 2022, it wasn’t a good experience in general. 1. Lennar Mortgage: The loan agent assigned to our area was not prompt at all. Usually no response to emails until a few days later that we chased him. Up until the closing day the document issued still had errors and we caught it. We originally didn’t plan on going with Lennar Mortgage but as the rates soared 2 months before closing, we chose Lennar because of the credit they offered. We submitted the application but we were never told you’re approved nor their portal showed anything. We kept asking the loan agent and never got an straight answer. You can imagine how difficult the communication was. 2. We did LVP after move in and found out the floor was very uneven. Some places fit thru my index finger between the floor and the leveler but the builder said this is within tolerance. Many many dips across the house. 3. My friends bought a home with KB home and during the building process, KB emailed them progress update with pictures of the home on a weekly basis which I think it’s awesome. Lennar doesn’t have that kind of service. 4. Lennar installed the wrong color of cabinets and we found out 1 week before closing when we got the appraisal report. They sent us a compensation amount but in a take it or leave it approach, that if we didn’t take it they have customers in line to sell to. We had no say in anything. 5. On closing day we got our keys and a map of our mail box location and number. We went there to test it but can’t open it. We asked the sales agent who gave us the map and keys, and he said: oh yea, just try it out on a nearby one across street. He didn’t even bother to help us check. ... More

The overall workmanship was poor, final product was rushed with many gaps from broken cabinets, sloppy paint job. Insurance premium through HIPPO (subsidiary of Lennar) was not paid forcing lapse in homeowner's policy and issuance of multiple dunning notices.

I understood the quality of Lennar construction when I entered into my sales agreement 6 months prior to closing. A new home construction had MANY issues all of which could have been addressed with better project management. When I brought issues to their attention, I was "yessed" and none were fixed prior to closing. Lennar rushed my home into closing as it was the last day in their fiscal quarter. I closed at 9pm that night because they couldn't get a certificate of occupancy and once they got conditional approvals, they closed clients. I HIGHLY recommend NOT rushing the walk through as that's where they get you. Their contracts allow them an unlimited amount of time to address things. If imperfections or in my case a bathroom GUT, wasn't caught on the walk through before closing at 7:30pm it would have fallen under a "warranty" issue. My experience with Lennar has been a great experience. Max, Nick and John have been a pleasure to work with and have been very helpful and prompt with everything we have asked of them. I would highly recommended Lennar to anyone looking to buy a new home.

Everything was completed as cheap as possible. Wouldn't even give you paint to touch up spots missed.

Matt was our sales rep and was outstanding. He was available to answer our many questions. Alex and Annie in warranty addressed our list quickly and efficiently.

Workmanship are very poor, after we moved we saw a lot of problems the paint, lots of nails pops, window blinds, doors are loose, carpet are short, something missing on the counter, problem with internet cable, the stairs, water heater doesn't work on our first day , warranty guy only good on the first 2 weeks after that not answering the phone. Really disappointed, I will not recommend Lennar.

Constant having to call and make corrections that should of been caught during inspection. Builder doesnt seem to give a crap about craftsmanship for the price you pay for a house these days.

Can do a better job at responding to emails. Sent an email regarding my front windows and a follow up email a week after. It’s been 3.5 weeks and still yet no response.

The process itself was not as smooth as I would have hoped for. There were a lot of small mistakes made that made the overall experience challenging. I had to learn to move forward and make the best of things. Overall, I am happy with my new home now and the services now have been handled appropriately and in a timely manner.

Weird customer service experience with Lennar. Seems like they are rushing through closings and leaving too many outstanding items to be fixed after I moved in. House is nice and I’m happy I bought it but Lennar as a company has not impressed me at all.. quite the opposite.

I like the package with solar.

Lennar is a large impersonal company. Information flows downhill from above and it appears to me that most employees are afraid to act on behalf of the customer because they are afraid of making waves. This is my second Lennar house in 3 years and I have experienced this phenomenon repeatedly. Also, they are VERY slow to respond to service issues, especially if you are misguided enough, as I was, to close before the house was actually complete. Once they have your money, they are even more unresponsive. Be aware the Lennar is nothing more than a "tract" builder who is always trying to cut costs. This second home, for example, was built with much cheaper materials than the one from a couple years ago, despite the fact that the new home was supposedly a level above the last one. Lennar builds a half way decent house, but don't expect to be buying anything like a custom house, despite the inflated pricing. ... More

I love Lennar's house. Beautiful and comfortable, the best home I have ever had since immigrating to the US for 10 years.

The idea of buying a new home opposed to older ones has the great advantage of not to worry about whether the electrical and/or the plumbing systems have to be replaced shortly after buying it. LENNAR Homes are outstanding.

My insurance lapsed because they didn’t pay the bill.

I like my house, I regret that I wasn’t able to pick out anything. But I am content with my place and I love the neighborhood.

As out of state buyers we really appreciated Sales Rep David keeping us informed (including pictures) throughout the building process. Our Construction Managers Don and Doug applied their extensive knowledge/experience to address our home building and product features questions. The finished home Don delivered at closing exceeded our expectations.

The sales persons are very professional, kind, responsible, and reliable.

Quality a bit disappointing. Waiting all day today for someone scheduled to come perform some fixes.

Left paint on the floor, windows are off, had to get cabinets redone.
