This is our second home bought from Lenner Homes. We expected much because of our previous experience in home buying with them. This time around, the quality fell quite a bit. The communication and coordination between the Lennar team is so bad it seems like they have not worked together at all. Everything seemed rushed including the quality of the home and the process itself. As an example, on the first home we were interested in, we filled in all requirements and was half hour away from providing the earnest money with all paper works "all good" according to Lennar finance. Our Loan officer did not update us about the interest Rate for 5 months.We received email fr Him the 1st time July 2023 and got the last email Dec 2023 that our interest needs to be locked in.We were not given choices for 5 months.I was not Happy about at all with Lennar.

1. Have it written into the sales agreement that the lawn & landscaping will be delivered in a condition that is acceptable to the buyer (modify this wording). At closing the grass was over 12 inches and Lennar refused to resolve. My bad experience was with Lennar Mortgage. With proof of employment, excellent credit and a generous down payment, they were not able to past the fact that my employer would not provide proof of remote employment. It was so frustrating that I paid cash for the house just not to have to deal with them. As far as the workmanship - overall, the house is fine but there are a list of issues where they just got lazy and did not check their own work.

The overall process wasn't smooth and the negotiation part could have been better. I didn't have a lot of trust in all that process, seemed like something was all the time hidden from me. When moved I noticed a lot of things were done quickly, just to be done. Especially painting and finished. Lots of things left unfinished which aren't covered by warranty. Overall process I think could have been better. The experience of purchasing the house was terrible. The project manager was never around, wouldn't return calls and didn't even make the final walk through of the house before my closing. Assuming he was busy and everything would be taken care of and fixed from our first walk through before closing - NEVER ASSUME SOMEONE WILL DO THEIR JOB. Sub work was poor for painting and finishing. Our saving grace was Alan. He cleaned up the issues for us. Lennar title was difficult to work with. Would go with a back on the loan.

Great house terrible customer service. Tammy wouldn't talk to us regarding our closing cost. Dishwasher had to be replaced, the fridge hasn't worked for a month and the microwave had to have the fan replaced. I battle geese leaving waste on my driveway and yard. This is a huge health hazard. Like I said love the house but now have to live in conditions that I didn't ask for and not getting help with. There were 75 geese that were counted in my yard over the last weekend. Buying a house in this market is tough. We were thrilled to get the house and at the price we did. However, the loan process was pulling teeth to get anyone to respond. I sat at closing for 5 hours because they messed up paperwork and were not prepared. Our house is beautiful but they definitely cut corners on thing. If possible monitor your home being built from start to finish. Look closely at your walk through - there are lots of discrepancies to pick out as the contractors used during the home build are not attentive to detail.

Bought a brand new home. A/C already needed fixed. Took 2 weeks to get done and the temperature outside was in the 90s. Also, two months in, we STILL don’t have access to a mail box. Two outlets have stopped working in the kitchen. Solar panels have still not been activated when they said they should be. Overall, disappointed in my overall experience of buying a half a million dollar home.

Picking the house and putting the down payment was easy and getting financing wasn't hard for me. Then I was met with an extreme escrow office that accused me of being an investor because I have multiple houses. So, I canceled contract, I thought about it for a day and the house was a good deal, so I went back and did everything all over again, just to be told no by the same escrow officer. I got another lender and closed within 30 days without issue. I took me almost 3 months to buy this house all because the assumption of me being something I am not.

We built a Spencer in 2022. Was disappointed that there weren't more options for a seniors living in next gen suite. After moving in, we had several issues. The first 8 weeks we had contractors in fixing something. Thankfully the warranty request process is easy and Lennar responds quickly. Overall really disappointed with tge overall craftsmanship of a nearly $500k home. I would not recommend building with Lennar.

Everything was great until my close date was pushed back 3 times. I understand building materials have been scarce in the past 2 years so that wasn’t the main issue but the start. When I did the final walk through, the agent who did it was respectful but I believe deceitful as well. The front area of the home did not have power until she said “oh the breaker is off” when she flipped jt on everything worked for about 10 minutes. My experience has not been the best from the beginning. The telephone tree kind of communication with the site manager and sales person in not getting the message right. I can go into details about how hard it was to talk to Chandra. Then the mortgage officer rarely listen to us and the constant missed opportunities of communicating on what was needed and not needed. This is a difficult review to write. While I love my home and am happy to finally be in it and somewhat settled, the process and experience getting here was very disappointing. The close date was moved multiple times. Often Lennar would blame outside sources but most times it was due to poor project management. The delays also cost me more money in the interest rate and escrow. Both my realtor and mortgage lender had to make several calls to get answers.
