Our sales person, Dylan was fantastic. We liked him and he was (and still is) very responsive to any questions or concerns. If I were rating just him alone I would say we had a very good experience. Lennar is a large builder and by all accounts should have their building process down now like a well oiled machine. They are, however, building these homes way too fast without a real attention to detail. Also, when issues are noted they are not addressing them while the work is being completed. It appears that they are just letting the issues slide in hopes that the new homeowner will ...

Lennar - One do not use lennar mortgage they are terrible!

One do not use lennar mortgage they are terrible!!!! I know they say you'll save money that way, but your sanity will pay for it!!! The overall build wasn't bad, but their tile contractor did a terrible job in the master shower. You can't even drive a uhaul no matter the size onto the driveway because the concrete is so thin!! They didn't put a man door in the garage and to close off the garage even more they put the big ol tankless hot water heater on the inside!! Terrible idea!! This is the last lennar home I will buy ever!!!

Honestly it was one of the most horrible experiences ever done. The buying process was very unprofessional since they keep on changing the closing day and while me and my family already left the place we used to live at. I’m a disabled Veteran so I thought I will be a little easier for me to move into my new house but this was just a nightmare. The house was not even clean, some things were damaged and the response from the inspector is just not working for me so I ended up doing the cleaning and fixing with my wife for over two weeks. I wouldn’t recommend Lennar to any of my fellow Veterans ...

I would NOT recommend Lennar's mortgage. I was unable to use Lennar's mortgage company due to their inexperience and I lost out on all incentives in addition I never received all the information at closing regarding who to contact, association information ect... The tile in my master bath had to be redone multiple times. Holly was amazing she was the bright spot in this experience without her I would have walked away from this home purchase.

We have had multiple issues with this house - too many for the price. Customer service is always quick to respond, but getting quality work is another story. The most on-going issue...I still have not been able to get another router to improve my internet (we've been in the house almost 2 months). They supplied us with 1 router that is good for 2000 square feet - our home is almost 3,200. This is our 3rd new house and we will never purchase a home from Lennar again.

When I bought this house, I have been told no co-op (buyer’s agent commission). But recently my neighbor told me they had co-op for the real estate agent! And we almost bought the house at the same time at the same street! It is not fair, builder treats buyers differently!

We love our home it’s everything we envisioned it to be. We believe that lennar could have handled business better. We closed almost 3 weeks after our tentative closing date due to last minute paperwork we had to produce after we did our walk through. It was very inconsiderate of Lennar because they new we traveled from Chicago for the closing not knowing that the loan was far from being approved. The home is nice with the exception of the issues Horrible experience being told a few days before that we no longer qualify. The home buying experience was very frustrating. Our home was delayed by 4-5 months while other homes on same street that contracted 3-4 months later were finished earlier. Compared other homes we’ve had built, It appeared that Lennar just slapped stuff together so they could close. Now we have to deal with it through the warranty process which is inconvenient. Examples are broken window, front door doesn’t line up with hopes drilled, no hardware on the door, island 3/4 inch lower on one side, floors stained, no address plate on outside, and I can keep going. Closing delays, could not find out what the cause was. Reached sales manager and got the usual answer, everything is blamed on COVID effecting supply's. Everyone I spoke to appear to be following a script in answering my questions. Finish work is below average, crack in garage floor (told it was normal) at first walk thru. Large gaps in crown molding and base board corners, caulk is already cracking and I will need to repair. (Lennar's answer as always is its in spec) The upstairs HVAC return air duct was not installed at the time of the first walk thru, completely missed by construction ...

The workmanship and cleaning is not good as expected, the design changes were not informed and when asked, no good responses. Lot of gaps, nail spots in wood works, didnt provide a great feeling of job well done ! .. The trust about the builder went down !

Lennar does a good job of informing you of the home buying experience: no changes, no alterations, no need to haggle over additions, etc. You get a walk through of the model home which was mostly, but not totally, identical to the finishings and workmanship of your soon to be home. The selling agent was very friendly, knowledgeable and overall helpful through the process. The mortgage agent, although we didn't end up going with them because of other issues, was quite good and would even consider using them in the future. Closing was pushed four times due to labor and material shortages which is understandable but they were only concerned about their ability to close on their schedule and had little or no concern for our schedules as we were flying in from out of town to do the final walk through and close We spent lots of time and money changing flight and hotel and rental car plans. The week of closing was the most stressful week of my life. When I came for my walk through it was clear that no one on the Lennar side had even went inside for a minute to check things before I arrived. I was there for two hours pointing out issues. I have two young children and I was on my hands and knees feeling the stairs and felt dozens of exposed staples. If my daughters were walking on the stairs they would have gotten hurt. We had lots of issues…during framing we saw missing walls and closets. Holes made in the subfloor as well. After move in, it’s been a constant battle of fixing roof leaks, plumbing leaks, and workmanship issues. We wish we never bought this house.

Beautiful Home But No Follow Through on Issues After Closing

Lennar is a great company to work with during the building process, however, after closing, it's difficult to get ahold of anyone in Lennar to resolve issues in the house. The tech support department Lennar contracts with (Lumiere) is phenomenal. However, we had some issues with the home (still unresolved) and our concern keeps getting passed around. There's too many people working for Lennar with no clear contact or who to direct issues to. No resolution yet at the time of this review.
