Post closing issues can be hard to address, set up appointments for, or have work orders finished correctly. Have to keep calling and reminding them about fixes.

Do not expect any consideration after your deposit. Once the sale is made, the developer ceases to care.

Let me start by saying that the sales office (Elena and Juan) did an amazing job of communicating and being accountable throughout the entire buying experience. The pain point for my family and I came with the construction team. Their lack of accountability and effective communication was extremely unprofessional. There were numerous times that I had to get the sales office involved to get prompt feedback from construction. We had two walkthroughs before closing, one a week from closing and one the day of closing. At our first walk through we created a multi-page list of issues that should have been corrected. We found three leaks including one which had mold. The construction team said they would correct the issues before closing. Fast forward to closing and we had even more issues, including new large scratches on our flooring. With a long list of items unfinished the construction manager said they would have everything corrected ASAP. Against better judgement we decided to close and allow the construction team to finish our home while we were moving in. Fast forward 45 days post-closing and we still have issues unresolved. It took me having to call Lennar customer service to port the long list of items that needed to be finished to get a response from the construction team. We personally felt that once we closed no one really cared if the job was finished or if the job was done correctly (everything was a rush). Our situation may be an isolated case, but I don't think it's Lennar's plan for customers to feel the way we felt throughout the end of our home purchasing experience. I personally would not recommend Lennar to anyone and will pursue a private builder in the future. I was forced to to close by 2/28/22 and there are list of 22 pages long of repairs are taken until now are nit repaired yet. The home did not have hot water and no appliances until a week ago.

Given the real estate market in the Denver area, Lennar is constructing homes too quickly without much attention to detail which leads to poor craftsmanship and poor attention to detail. There are way too many issues with our new home, especially when paying this amount for a new home. You'd hope that those little things/details like adjacent electrical outlets lining up, ensuring HVAC wiring is correct so that the furnace and A/C condenser aren't running at the same time, picking up the debris/nails around the perimeter of the home prior to closing, ensuring paint is off of windows, ensure drywall/framing is square instead of a 1" relief between one side of the wall and the other, ensuring lots are graded properly before closing, ensure there are no dripping water lines, ensuring there isn't wall texture on floor boards, ensuring the staircase bannisters are stained and then installed so you don't get stain on the flooring when you decide to stain things post-install, protecting the carpets before closing so trades don't track mud through your new home, etc. Not hard things to do, but takes more attention to detail and some caring from the Lennar side to ensure trades are taking enough time to make the little details count. ... Reliability was key to our purchase.

We had a great experience buying our home with Lennar. Everyone has been above and beyond helpful anytime I’ve called with questions and concerns. They have been patient diligent and on top of their game.

Loan officers were great and understanding!

Look at all walls for nail heads sticking out of drywall. Check Bathroom tile workmanship. Look for warped cabinet doors, bulging carpet, etc. we like our home but some areas of workmanship are very shoddy and looks as if completed carelessly. we cannot comment on outside due to areas not complete due to weather.

Lennar has great potential however unfortunately my experience has been subpar and least satisfactory. The workmanship is not great and customer service needs a ton of work. As a millennial I can appreciate Lennar moving towards a “one stop shop” approach, as that did make things simpler in the home buying process. However, there a still lot of areas that need work for a streamlined process to succeed and Lennar does not have that. For that reason I have not and will not recommend them as a builder. I would not trust them with another new build in the future.

The entire process was great after we got past the bidding process Jeremy (sales person) was fantastic and everything went smoothly

Lack of communication throughout the experience, followed by people dropping the ball as far as craftsmanship. Financial side of thing were not complete until 40 minutes after closing appointment. Home was not ready for move in until 3 days after closing

It’s overall great location for places to eat and grocery stores are like 5 minutes away. The houses comes with lots of amenities and look very nice in our opinion. One thing, is appliances are being stolen from the homes before you move in and right after they are being delivered. It’s strange but it keeps happening until you close on your home and you’re moved in. When you’re driving through the neighborhood or walking around, everyone seems really nice. Seeing lots of kids around, which is good because we have a 13 year old. Great thing is, the middle school and high school, are within walking distance, maybe 20 minute walk. There’s a walking path that leads from the neighborhood to the schools. We are very happy with our purchase. There have been a few hiccups as with all new home builds but you just have to put in a service request to Lennar. ... More

Be cautious in using this builder. Haven’t proven themselves trustworthy.

Everything; is included in the price of the home. Such as, the appliance package/Blinds.

Coming from a custom built home, you have to adjust your expectations. Townhouse is well constructed and very comfortable but fine craftsmanship not a strength. Still, we love it.

Salesman threatened us. because we did not go with Lennar's preferred lender, which is owned by Lennar. Salesman stated in clear terms, if the lender we chose, a national mortgage company, was not ready at a moment's notice to close , Lennar would keep our deposit and sell the home elsewhere.

Backyard grass is uneven, but all others concerns are addressed in one month.

My experience with Linnar in the process of purchasing a new home was so respectful and rewarding. The price paid was reasonable. The team is responsive and considerate! This is an excellent home builder!

Not unhappy, generally speaking, but Lennar is a production builder and they're not flexible with the product they deliver. It's "garden variety". You can't upgrade anything. You get what you get.

Since day one sales representative was great and the whole process was fast track. After closing Lennar Customer service was very attentive to complete a few pending item. Lennar Customer service need to do a better coordination with their contractors to complete work orders on time during warranty period.

Difficultly in getting anyone to show up on time

My backyard has been flooded the entire time we've live here. The water does not drain properly and the yard is totally unusable due to the constant standing water. Worried about our foundation. No one has even come out to look at it yet.

Overall Lennar is better then most builders in the area. The houses are solid as I was fortunate enough to watch my house be built living down the street in another Tortuga Home. Dealing with mortgage people was a challenge just getting the math correct on their end. Dealing with the Salesman, Construction Manager and Warranty Manager were easy as they always responded in a timely manner. Getting things fixed after the sale, for the most part, was in a timely manner. Construction site is filthy (with non construction material) as workers do not pick up after themselves which intern blows all over your new property. This was our 2nd Lennar home and it went even more flawlessly this time than the previous one. The CM, Sales staff, and Customer Care team all are competent and really advocated for us in so many ways. We love our new Lennar home!
