Lennar was very difficult to work with... Many of the documents were incorrect. We did not use Lennar Mortgage or Lennar Title because of the issues. We are still receiving an alert to sign an incorrect document in the portal even though we closed August 23rd. Thankfully, our renter is just moving in this weekend. The final issues were just resolved and our walk-thru was August 5th. We still have a leaky toilet which will be repaired tomorrow.

Quality control and workmanship is below avarge and a lot of mistakes.Close on house and had to spend 1500.00 to have tile floors cleaned and not the only one.

Our first homebuyer experience could have been much better had the sales team been much more responsive and kept us up to date on the status of the home. We missed out on the initial home we wanted due to the first sales person, Sheri, not responding to us in a timely manner. The sales person for the 2nd home, Corina, was very friendly once you were able to get ahold of her. The sales rep and other staff members that I worked with including the mortgage staff, were all great and very helpful - They were the best thing about buying here. Unfortunately, my experience was not what I expected. My move in date was 2 months later than I was told which was very disruptive for me and my family to say the least. There were numerous issues when I moved in regarding the workmanship and materials, and I continue to find small things. This was a difficult review to write, and one where I waited nearly two months to see if there was resolution on a few issues. Let me break this down into areas: Construction/Builder: This started off as the biggest issue. After we put down our deposit, we were told our final lot layout was going to be different then what we originally expected/been advised. Closing left all promises largely not met.

Many questions about utilities, HOA, mail box Keys, missing door code access, rig door camera manual, services etc. was not provided. Even house keys were not ready to deliver at closing. They were to mail them to me. they were later found, I had to return after I had signed and left. A master bathroom clogging issue took 3 weeks to be resolved which delayed our move for nearly a month. Water heater and garage door broke withing first month. Two individuals from the final breakthrough actually help covering most of these issues as they took the above and beyond approach to help.

Beautiful home but bad communication.

The home itself I think was built well as well as the price I paid for it. The communication, however, between the Lennar Mortgage and other people involved made the process of buying a home much more stressful. my suggestion to Lennar itself is make sure when people are going to purchase a home from you that you walk through the steps and the different people that they are going to have to deal with for example, the people in the showroom at the track, the mortgage people, the underwriters, and who’s in charge of HOA. Lennar misplaced $5,000 of our down payment and only fixed it when my husband went and looked at the numbers. Since moving in we’ve found many mistakes made in the home and whenever we try to text our agent or the manager about it and when our front landscaping will be done we get ghosted. Lennar also says they do the whole back fence but we were cut short with ours being a corner lot and the fence doesn’t extend to the corner it’s about ten feet short. Completing the purchase was very touchy, and communication was not the greatest. Now that we are in the home, we are having to move back out due to the flooring issues, and this has made me question the workmanship in other areas of the house. The Customer Sevice representative has been very helpful, but this process is still less than desirable and leaves doubts.

Building with Lennar was the absolute worst experience. The home was 5 months late. No ability to change or pick out anything. I call it the Walmart of new homes. You get what you pay for

Sloppy work

Things were not finished by closing date and after was a hassle to have them finish them. At closing, they try to say you might get the keys but maybe the following day which is absurd and not funny to bring out music box with celebrayion music. Poor workmanship, rushing through and sloppy. The construction crews start working at 630am with no consideration to owner already living in neighborhood.

No pride in craftsmanship

We bought a home in a new Lennar development. Our keys don’t work in the locks, the trim/walls are bowed and crooked, they “cleaned” the house prior to close yet it was still filthy. Lighting fixtures are mounted crooked, our ring doorbell was mounted crooked. Least pleasant closing experience I have ever encountered. They will not negotiate and claim there are other offers so you are pressured to proceed. I like our home, but I feel dirty after buying it.

My experience was less than average. The process is complex with limited support from the staff. It is all about closing the deal vs. customer service. I was not impressed by what I got and this was my first experience with Lennar. I will likely be NOT inclined to do business with them in the future.

The sales process was good. The mortgage process with Lennar Mortgage was terrible as persons involved seemed inexperience and not responsive most of the time. We found a leak on the fire sprinkler system, mold under a bathroom cabinet as a result of a leak during construction which was not disclosed to us, rattling glass door to the patio, and other issues. Although Lennar has been very responsive to correct the issues, it has taken a lot of our personal time on appointments and waiting for things to get fixed... Has taken the excitement of buying a brand new home away...
