I closed on the property 11/30/2019 but did not move in until 03/21/2020. I had heard from owners who had moved in before me that the quality of the water was awful. It smelled like rotten eggs. I expected this issue to be resolved by the time I moved in but it hasn't and I have to boil my water before I can use it. There are more issues but I don't have enough space to continue.

I love my home, the layout, and functionality. What I do not appreciate is the poor finishing work. The paint, caulk and general finishing work is very poor. We had construction mgrs change and that coupled with the close our year-end for the builder made the process for the walk thru etc. challenging.

Lennar Feedback Las Ramblas

Although construction was completed in a rapid pace, the final build was not of the highest quality or workmanship. Even the little details were missed, for example, light switches were not wired correctly, lights were not centered, etc. Standard building code items were not included, like rain gutters. Landscaping was very poorly put in.

Poor taping and mudding, white paint spots on the floor everywhere, doors that were not properly hung, poor fitting screens on windows that allow bugs to get in, nails/concrete/trash left on lot and behind lot, light fixture quality poor, laminate floor quality poor, garage door hung improperly causing excessive noise/vibration, wire shelving in closets bows under any weight,

During the building process, Lennar sales worked with us in a complex situation where we needed to sell our home in order to purchase the new one. In that regard, they were great. However, the walkthroughs were a joke as we had two individuals who did not know our specific home and could not answer questions about our specific build, just Lennar homes in general. Additionally, during the walkthrough the day of closing, we noticed additional items that we wanted taken care of and the individual conducting the walkthrough (the builder manager) was unwilling to fix anything that we identified, ...

People prepared to sell, however, do not finish reviewing the house after closing. A struggle to complete internal problems. 4 months and I still have blue tapes in my kitchen.

Sales office is awful to work with. There were several items that were suppose to be addressed prior to move in, but did not get completed. Once everything was finally address, which took some time, everything has been good.

We recently purchased a Lennar home. We were very excited about the purchase. Salesperson and mortgage broker were easy to deal with and they made the process happen very quickly. Once the sale was complete we felt as if we no longer mattered. The zero defects was a joke. We spent hours walking through the home marking areas for repair. 70% of repairs were not completed, the tape was just removed as if it were. We had difficulties entering the home for more than one week. Emails have been slow to receive responses. Although we like our home, we're not sure that we would purchase another ...

Beautiful house but questionable buying process and warranty

Our buying experience was not the best as we had to travel over an hour twice just to our in our offer. This practice is very inconvenient if you do not live close and almost deterred our interest in the home. If it was not for the excellent sales agent who kept us abreast and was very responsive to our concerns and frustration, we would have looked elsewhere. The warranty offered is questionable too. Just make sure everything is up to par quality-wise before signing on the dotted line. Otherwise, be prepared for the warranty denials once you are in the house. We are highly doubtful about ...

The water smells heavily of sulfur. This should have been disclosed when we bought the home. We replaced the anode in the water heater with an aluminum one which was a temporary fix. I asked Lennar to replace it with a titanium one because the aluminum anode has already been eroded. I was told it was not their issue to fix since it was water quality. Yet, I believe since they didn’t bother disclosing the high sulfur in the water reacting negatively with the metal in the water heater would be an issue, it is partly their problem. It would be different if we weren’t willing to invest the money ...

It's been more than 4 months since the closing, and we still have major unresolved issues in the house that had been identified during the final walkthrough. We have also had major structural issues with the plumbing and the roof, which required emergency repair services. I strongly recommend that you do not buy a house from Lennar.

We bought a model and Lennar doesn't warranty past 30 past days and we see why. Little things continue to emerge such as leaking faucets and poor craftsmanship around the house. The Lennar warranty team won't even respond with recommended resolutions, they just ignore the inquiries. To their credit they were very responsive and friendly the first 30 days but won't even respond with recommended resolutions any more. Unfortunate that we've already had to go out of pocket for handy work on a house that's never been lived in 2-3 months after moving in.

We closed on our house end of October. Before we did inspection or anything, we had an evergreen tree that was knocked down in a snow storm, that was ignored and still lays down on our yard. During inspection, we pointed out the paint splatters on the hardwood floors and were told the day we closed they would have it cleaned by professionals. We close and they did not do that type of cleaning. Seems like they did a lick and a promise because it’s March and we still have paint on our floors and it took two days to scrub construction grit off our kitchen island and counters. So much for a ...

This home has so many areas of shoddy workmanship. Ton's of clauking issues scratches on the wood flooring all over the house. Customer service pushes back on everything. I will never buy another Lennar home. everything from the Sales rep to the Construction engineer is only concerned about you giving them a 5 star rating. I have been hounded for months to give 5 star rates.

My biggest problem was during the walk I was blue taping a lot. Mike, who no longer is with y’all said, “don’t worry about taping everything right now, you won’t see it all so we’ll come back in 2 months to fix whatever else you see.” Nikki, who is awesome! Told me that wasn’t the case. All the baseboards in the house look like they were found in the trash, pieces missing in them, nails not all the way in, or holes from the nails. The painters also did a horrible job caulking the baseboards to the ground. They probably costed you guys a lot of money how much extra caulking they got all over ...
