the finishes of the houses are of very low quality in my inspection I found many details which to see bought a new house are unavailable

There are few areas where Lennar has to improve, especially the construction quality is not up to mark or expectation. The sight/construction managers are over burdened due to multiple projects and they are not able to focus on quality of the block/home.

Lack of detail to the finishing touches

Lennar builds aesthetically pretty communities. Their attentiveness and concern for the individual homeowner is poor. The first construction supervisor, Andy, was attentive. Michael, who replaced him because they had too many closings scheduled, was always in a hurry, and eager to just get closed. Furthermore. we continue to find warranty issues after 5 months, and will submit them.

Overall I would not reccommend Lennar. While I love the majority of my home the two weeks prior to closing were not enjoyable dealing with the sales agent & contractor. They were dismissive and ultimately did not address some of the issues I had within the home.

Hard to evaluate and list is all, basically sales team overall was great, builders and trades did not provide a make ready home at close and still trying to get items finalize and fixed 4 months later with no type of compensation for all the miss work and wasted appointment where the trades didn’t come prepared for the work needed having to reschedule the same repairs in some cases many times over.

We've been in the house for about 5 months and love it. Unfortunately we have an ongoing problem with customer support and warranty "after move-in" communications and scheduling. We have a laundry list of things that have either broke or need finishing work and communication with the Lennar project manager and our sales contact has been very poor. They rarely respond to my texts or calls and in the rare instances when contractors do show up they appear at my door with no warning of arrival so some are missed because we're not home. I've repeatedly requested getting the schedule in advance and have had no response from anyone about it. One of our neighbors has been waiting more than 6 months for follow-up work so apparently this is an issue with more than just us. Extremely unsatisfied. Caveat emptor -- let the buyer beware. ... The trim work in the house is not that good. The paint job on the interior doors is bad. Debris were painted over, there is paint splatter on the doors. Uneven brush marks trying to cover debris, that need to be sanded and repainted properly. The edges of the doors were not smoothed and are rough. The kitchen island counter top is not level. The kitchen sink has to be replaced due to being badly scratched and dented. When I did the walk through, the kitchen sink was conveniently wet, and I did not notice the scratches. After I closed and came back to the house, the kitchen sink was dry, and I could see all the scratches and dent. I called Jeremy the customer service rep, who conducted the walk through. I showed him the sink, and he told me to take a brillo pad, and scratch up the rest of the bottom of the sink, so all the scratches would match. Yes, that is what he told me to do. I told him that would really look bad, and the sink needed to be replaced. The crown molding that I paid extra to have, has cuts that were not filled in, and Jeremy told me it would be taken care of by the second walk through. It was not. I have been in the house for five months and it still has not been take care of. There are other issues that have not been taken care of, I will not list them all, but I think you get the picture. I submitted my warranty request to Lennar before Thanksgiving and only a few things have been done. I have contacted Jeremy over and over about the same things. If it was not nadia and josie i wud not buy this and rather wait and buy some other house but this two people worked hard for me but i m not really happy of the service and response.

When looking for a new home, I specifically looked at homes built by Lennar because of your reputation for quality and design. My home and our neighborhood has been a big disappointment in quality to say the least. Clearly, quantity and time were the priority when building and I have been disappointed since the day I moved in. Crooked walls and windows, paint on the carpets, exposed carpet tacks, etc.

No attention to detail on the finishes of the house and low motivation to find and fix problems.

The way the home is angled on the lot I have no privacy from my next door neighbors. Their back door is facing my back door pretty much. And the corners to close to one another. I can hear my neighbors slamming their door shut every day that’s how close we are. I’m planning on moving and finding something more private. Quality of certain things in the home questionable. Shower drain and kitchen countertops. Very upset about the low grade carpet and padding. I asked to upgrade my carpet and think I even paid extra. Landscaping is poor. No weed barrier on mow hill. Garage completed without a primmer coat, which is horrible. Trouble matching interior paints. Response time to have issues completed is sub-par. Sales team was amazing, huge props to Rosalie and Kathy.

Quality of workmanship and materials very poor we found many issues that needed to addressed numerous times, and are still dealing with them i.e paint splattered all over the floor tiles and the dishwasher not connected correctly caused a flood in our living room ETC.

Have had a work order open for 5 months to replace a refrigerator. And my vent hood above stovetop has not worked since moving in (5 months ago)..parts on back order.

Although the home is beautiful, you can tell the work is rushed. Lots of things that arent done correctly because Lennar just wants to make their money as quickly as possible. The issues we did get fixed took months to get done. It's really sad because it could be better if they took the time to try.

Clearly, the construction trades are not what they used to be. The quality of workmanship is hit or miss. Take it from someone who has built several homes. For us, the drywall work is horrible. No sense in pride for the work being done as there ceiling job in the main areas lacks quality. Additionally, the quality of material is poor but since the contract, which you cannot change, gives Lennar the ability to change material, clearly means giving you an inferior product. Our wood floors are cheap garbage. While the price is good, the quality of work and products are below average.

Don’t close on your home until your issues are fixed! They make you jump through hoops to get simple things fixed that should have been done right the first time and send contractors that have been drinking to your home with children in it. They make you feel like the bad person for wanting things done right when purchasing a brand new home. They tell you things will be fixed after closing but that isn’t true. We had to wash splattered paint off every surface of our new home and had to paint walls ourselves because the painters had been there 3 times and only made things worse by rushing through the job. Home. Thing experience was great then we were forgotten about and treated poorly since.

There seem to be a lot of problems with these Lennar townhomes such as the cheap materials and bad workmanship. Cheap flooring, carpet coming apart, floor squeaking, paint overspray, ceiling uneven, bad HVAC work. The caps in the streey for the water are broken off and not replaced so there are big holes in the road where someone could step into. A lot of neighbors were lied to about the neighborhood including myself, we were told there would be no building behind our homes to block the mountain view which why i purchased here.

Average home builder

The buying process and went well. There were small issues that were addressed with the home itself. Bigger issues have not been resolved and I feel I am being ignored by Lennar. A construction worker broke a sprinkler head, I told Lennar but nothing was done. Due to the busted head, my water bill was extremely high. I was told Lennar would reimburse me but needed to provide 3 bills. I did and never heard anything back. Two trees in my front yard died and the house was not 4 months old when it happened. I told Lennar but they said they do not cover that or it is not under warranty. Getting into the house, everyone is ready and willing to drop everything to help. I have lived in my Lennar home for almost six months now. I have come to find out that pretty much all the materials used in the building of my townhome are the cheapest product available. If given a choice I wouldn't buy a home from this company again.

Boy have I changed my opinion, and not for the better.

I went with Lennar thought I had few other options, based on my first home experience which was positive. This time the house got into series of repairs in first month. Now, I’m following up for reimbursement but the response is very slow
