Warranty department is horrible

Warranty subs don’t finish on the same day and don’t clean up. I have missed a lot of work due to this. I am also waiting on fix to my carpet padding that has a lot of hard plastic chunks in it?

Small for the price

The quality of the house is not what I would expect for 1/3 mill. I have cracks in the walls and ceiling. The yards are so small you can’t store you garbage cans in the back. So my two car garage must lose a slot for the garbage. HOA is expensive. Smart house electronics seem to be beta versions (Not ready for prime time) water quality is borderline unhealthy can’t really recommend

Very misleading sales experience. Average warranty follow up. Average workmanship on overall build. Warranty items are bound to happen, but some of it stems from poor workmanship in the start. Community is very nice. The layout makes it esthetically pleasing. Amenities are nice. Gated community, not so much due to on going construction.

Unfinished work and poor craftsmanship

We worked with a realtor and our own outside mortgage broker so buying was not an issue and everything went very well. I would love to give Lennar a great rating, however we are 6 months into our new home and still have not had work completed from our 45 day review. We had to have windows replaced because they were broken during building process. The workers came to replace the windows and installed new ones but left smudge fingerprints and palm prints on them that require a 20 ft ladder to reach for cleanup. Initial purchase process was smoother, design and options selection were easy to go through with sales person, construction manager was less responsive during the build, many issues found at final inspection and during final move-in. To sum it up, we are still waiting on our 30 day walk through issues to be rectified. It’s now been 7 months. Typical car salesman support. They sell you a house and then they are gone.

Before closing your property Lennar will definitely take good care of you, they'll answer all your phone calls, they will fix everything for you and they'll support you with great customer service. BUT ONCE YOU CLOSE the experience is totally NEGATIVE. Nobody will answer your phone calls, they will disappear and not worry about post customer service. Once you close your property with Lennar you are on your own. They only take care of you before closing. I was promised during my walk through that the huge hill of mud beside my home would be removed. It is also being used as a trash dump. Been over 4 months now and absolutely nothing has been done about it. If you drive down the alley behind Caite ridge road you can’t miss it under the power line. I guess since all homes on that street are sold it no longer matters.

It’s been 5 months since we closed and moved in ... there are still several issues that need to be repaired. Not a good experience with responsiveness. Also, I was asked to sign documents that stated that some of my issues were already fixed when they were not. Had to escalate!

Number of times took off from work to accommodate repaired makes it feel like a brand new fixer upper. Very disappointed I was not told that every time I refinanced my home, I have to pay $250 to have Sunstreet do subordination paperwork. Why is Sunstreet even on my title . Unhappy

The workers dump trash everywhere including bottles filled with urine. Find these things when digging in garden. Takes forever to get them to repaint our side wall outside which is at least 2 different colors of white. The plumbers who came from problems were rather derogatory until they found that AT&T had drilled through our sewer. Also we are hooked into neighbors sewer before draining to city sewer. Both bathtubs had holes which took 2 months to get fixed. Workmanship is poor.

Issues are very slow to get addressed. Had a walk through 1 week before closing, was told all issues identified would be corrected before closing. We paid cash for our house at closing and were not able to move in for another month. After trying for two months to get items corrected I was told to submit the issues as warranty calls. After numerous cracks started appearing 3 months after we closed in the stucco. The house is only 6 months old now, Lennar says this is normal and I must repair. As the saying goes, "first impression is the last impression". In this instance, I tend to disagree with my homebuying experience with Lennar. The first encounter with my agent was quite impressive. The questions I have fielded were answered with conviction. However, I have felt a sense of deception and distrust along the way and during the construction process. I had asked a few questions regarding the construction specifications, but those didn't materialize at the end. Bottom line, do your diligent research before you sign the contract. Terrible customer service

While I love my new home, the customer service is awful. We have been in the home for 6 months and things that should have been fixed before we moved in still are not done. We were told it would get fixed quickly. If I had a recommendation for anyone it would be to put off closing escrow until the things you want done are completed.

I closed on my new Lennar home at the end of May, 2019. Shortly after I moved in, there were several problems discovered, one being a water leak inside the home, most of the other issues were relatively minor. The customer relations team member assigned to me, Rick, has been amazing at responding to my tickets and working to get the problems corrected. However, the contractors that come out to fix the issues have been my biggest problem. The buying process was okay, the only person that was incredibly responsive was the sales agent, and he had already secured the sale. Construction Manager changed 3 times in less that 4 months, and quite a few items we asked weren’t done. It could have certainly been worse but absolutely could have been better.

Can’t get repairs done

Since the middle of August when Ernie was transferred I have been trying to get repairs handled. Most have been request multiple times. I was advised Ron was the new contract and was advised by him the middle of September he stated he had 10 communities to deal with but as of today still have not been contacted to take care of the issues. He stated he would take care of the issues but when. I am not happy. I was required to act timely but apparently the same rules don’t apply. I have a list of about 12 plus items. I feel I was more than generous with my rating.
