We love the layout of the home which is why we picked it. The Workmanship is poor. We have paint runs down the banister, all across the baseboards, the subfloor wasn't installed properly in the bathroom creating tile cracks. Had that fixed and now the grout is cracked. It takes forever for someone to come out and fix anything. The outside cleaning that was supposed to be completed in November had yet to be done and it is currently March. The paint job is horrible! Let me start by saying Rich and Aaron are very great and helpful with issues. I appreciate all their help. They are the only good experience I have had with lennar. I am not to happy at this point with everything else. There is a lot of sloppy work done. Carpet and drywall feels very cheap. Floor boards are creeping everywhere. Poor quality workmanship. No pride in work very sloppy. House is not level, flooring poorly laid, poor paint job. Paint splattered all over the tile floor, poor quality concrete. No lighting in home except for bathroom and kitchen.

I am new owner of a Lennar home, but I'm having a hard time enjoying it. Besides (1) issues during the build, (2) a large (and still-growing) list of poor craftsmanship/building issues throughout the house, and (3) horrific customer service and responsiveness, Lennar made two particularly egregious mistakes while rushing to sell me a house by the end of their fiscal year. 1. Lennar sold me a house in the winter without heat on the top floor (bedrooms). I was excited to be buying a lennar home but i was disappointed with not being able to choose the elevation of the home. our house was a moonlight skye series and its all white it makes no sense that lennar would do this the house looks unfinished. Also during the walkthrough there were so many things wrong with the house due to the construction team building these houses too fast and sloppy. the sale agents were awesome though very nice and helpful its just the craftsmanship of lennar thats quite horrible and now my family has to live with these flaws for a long time.

I wish I'd known about the builder. We would've bought an existing house and not had to deal with the disappointments. Inspect your home thoroughly!!! Huge gaps between the floors and the walls. We've had major repairs for things in the first month that couldn't have actually been inspected, let alone pass inspection!?!

Sub-par engineering, construction supervision and quality of workmanship. Lack of diligent workmanship is a reflection of the builder's rush to complete home construction without paying attention to detail and pride in work quality. Customer service is wanting and repeated subcontractor visits are required to rectify mistakes/blunders.

In the 5 short months that I have lived in my home I have had to have several contractors back out to fix things that I feel you should not have to fix in less than 5 months. My hardwood floors have a gab that can easily be seen and collects crumbs and other debris that im told is an acceptable gab but looks horrible. And now I have a second location just not as bad as the first. I have an doorway that meets with the ceramic tile that hurts your feet if you step on it that does not get a transition plate due to the house not being DESIGNED with one. Had a prior Lennar home, felt would be similar in good built quality , not impressed , have had issues with cabinets, cracks , poor built quality and over all fair !

Good house, bad service

During our building process, the sales team repeatedly gave us misinformation and took long * 2 answer questions. Since we have moved into our house the warranty department is slow to respond and lets things linger 4 a long time. After our first warranty appointment and claim, they sent two people out to work on some of the issues, but the rest is still left undone.

We moved in 7 months ago and have had workers here over 10 times. Rude office staff, subfloor issues, flooring issues, broken dryer, issue with kitchen sink, broken raucouses, broken doorbell, hole in floor, broken tread on staircase, etc. Had we known Lennar had poor craftsmanship, we would never have purchased this home. Do not recommend this builder.

We built the new “everything’s included” home. Sounded like such a great thing. In order to get and “everything’s included” home, they cheat everywhere they can. Downstairs cabinets have soft close hardware. Get upstairs, not included. Plastic faucet upstairs on an upgraded laundry room. Only one hearing/air vent for the entire kitchen, living room, entryway. Upstairs is so hot and downstairs is freezing. Workmanship is poor. So many thing have had to be fixed already. Carpet is so cheap. I really had higher expectations from Lennar but I feel it fell short on several fronts...not going to recommend to any one. ..I would probably advice to stay away from Lennar given the price of the house and poor material and workmanship...sad !!

I love my home and it’s expected to have a few issues that need to be ironed out. With that being said, it shouldn’t take 6 months to replace pavers and the rear door lock is stripped and has an issue with the locking mechanism. Those are two of the major issues we have that refuse to be addressed.

Just weeks after moving in all nine upper kitchen cabinets came loose from wall and exploded when they hit the floor.....glass flew to every corner of lower level. All dishes shattered!!! Small grandkids had just finished making breakfast on counter below cabinets and would have been seriously insured or worse! Lennar found that all cabinets were screwed into wallboard/paper only!

We and 50-60 of our neighbors were all promised beautiful finished green spaces and a tot lot when we were in the sales process. Lennar never finished these and apparently has no plan to. Other neighborhoods have beautiful amenities for the same HOA cost we do. Different builders who keep their promises. We will have to hire legal council and go through mitigation for breach of the sales agreement as we were all told the same things and our neighborhood is not up to par. I completed a scathing review of Lennar 5 months ago. I will summarize. I consider Lennar the worst home builder I have ever worked with and I have moved 39 times. Your prime motivator is speed , not quality. Your workers take no pride in their work and do not respect the work of others. I did not rate you in trustworthiness as I have no way to measure this, and of course your survey required an answer to submit.

We just recently bought a home in Rosena Ranch from a Lennar community. Since we've moved in, we have had to call service quite a few times for issues that should not be happening in a new home. For example, our handrail on the stairs are already having separation from the wall. It is under warranty and will get fixed, but it is very inconvenient especially because the contractors have to schedule so far out. These things should not be happening in a new home. Our advisor was very knowledgeable but unfortunately, he had a family emergency during our home buying process from the very beginning and was told to contact 2 other Lennar reps if we had any questions.
