Lennar - So the buying process was pretty smooth.

So the buying process was pretty smooth. My sales rep was Matt. Very helpful answered whatever questions I had. Only issue was I was sold a house that was supposed to have a pretty big backyard but when it was said and done the driveway was really long and the backyard was tiny. By then it was too late to wait for anything else. Plus they picked the poorest rated hoa for the neighborhood.

I am disappointed in Lennar’s overall service. My experience from start to finish was not the best or the smoothest. I think that a company as big as Lennar should provide a better overall home buying experience to their clients.

Buying a home can be a stressful experience, but with Lennar specifically you’re in for a wild ride, and I don’t mean in the fun way. Be prepared to receive an unfinished product, and be forced to close regardless. Be prepared for lack of knowledge of what Lennar even offers via sales consultant and lack of work ethic and cooperation. After the hurricane that was getting this home, 5 months later I can finally say it is a finished, beautiful product after many warranty claims, some of which are still unfinished. But the process in and of itself was a nightmare by most parties (they have ...

Disappointed in the condition of the house at point of sale.

Major repair was performed in one bathroom shower enclosure that was cracked and a poor attempt had been made to cover it up. Plumbing noise during use of hot water supply to upstairs bathrooms. Stucco and paint over spray on all outside windows. All countertops and plumbing fixtures had excessive sealant product left on surfaces. The tile floors had excessive grout haze. Doors and baseboards were covered in construction dust. When windows were opened there was literally mud in the sill.

I hate Lennar's Everything's Included program. Buyers spend hundreds of thousands, sometimes millions for their homes and can't even do something as simple as select what color cabinets or countertops we get. The Everything's Included program is just a way for them to streamline their building process, make as many homes as fast as possible without giving buyers the option to make a house a home.

I love my new home. Lennar had great floor plans and a variety of finishing options both inside and outside the home. Unfortunately there were some issues. Home itself was great. If you end up being a winter build, be ready to go through a maddening spring. If you close on your home in the winter, you do not get a driveway, sidewalk, or sod. This makes sense given the winter conditions. Here comes the fun part, so that Lennar can make its fiscal numbers, once spring comes, they prioritize their monthly closings first and the winter closings go to the bottom of the priority list for ...

My property happens to be the end unit on the side of the busy road where cars come at 45 MPH. I have taken photographs highlighting the need of the fencing similar to the fencing adopted by neighbor communities in Amberley area who are on the same side of the busy road. I wrote a note to Lennar sales, Lennar land department.. still they are not addressed. Their say is, its not in the layout and cannot be actioned upon. I have been asking the sales team to direct me to someone on the land department to talk about my concerns, I have never been directed till today. It has been almost 4 ...

I’ve been watching the market for years. My family left me with pets, so I couldn’t choose an apartment. I had to move in the next two months. I looked at preowned homes, but didn’t find anything that didn’t need a tremendous amount of fixing. So buying a new house seemed like a great idea. The rep at the Neighborhood was great. He listened to what I liked and he knew the products very well. He was patient and even allowed me to visit a second time. he chose the right house for me. Going through the loan process was a mess. The closing date was delayed badly with potential loss more than $1200, we understand the challenges with the solar vendor change and asked for compensation, it was agreed during the closing process. However, once the house is closed, I was told since the deal is close, they do not think they need to honor what they promised for compensation. So disappointed

Lennar kept me in the dark the entire process, only to allow my escrow to fall past closing date twice, inwhich later I decided to go with a different lender which got me approved within 5 days. This was absolutely no fault of my own or from not providing documentation requested. I was beyond responsive and provided everything they asked for timely. I was pre approved and nothing in my circumstances had changed. I’m beyond frustrated with Lennar mortgage and will not recommend using them as a lender. Post-Contract Experience with Home Purchase and Lennar Mortgage

While the initial contract and purchase process went smoothly, everything afterward was frustrating and poorly managed. Loan Application & Closing: The loan process lacked transparency and responsiveness. Confirming the closing date and time was unnecessarily stressful. The final walk-through and communication with the title agent felt rushed and unprofessional. At closing, I was given little to no information regarding the builder warranty—something that should have been clearly communicated. Post-Closing Issues: Just 1.5 months after moving in, the water heater broke down. I had to ...

The sales woman Lauren completely lied through her teeth about multiple things. Most of the time I think she just didn’t know the answer but acted like she did. The day after we signed I never heard from her again despite reaching out multiple times. She passed us off to Elle the homebuyer concierge who was useless. The entire experience was unpleasant. We have also had several big water leak problems. The warranty may cover the problems but does not cover lost wages or other expenses due to the issues. Highly recommend better quality control. They build them so fast that they miss a lot of things.

The day I signed the contract I was sadly given half correct information about possible helps like homestead and the agent incharge never answered my phone calls after I was passed down to mortage people. After that When I went to pick up my keys after signing there was no one at the comunity and had to wait 30 minutes for someone to arrive and hand me my keys! Lastly my house was dirty when I went in. They never did the last cleaning of my home. The only response I got was: “maybe someone got confused on the day you were closing” other than that I have a house.
