I really enjoyed my new home up at the amount of repairs needed and the timing is not responding from the associates was unacceptable this is a new subdivision and I have heard several complaints from my neighbors as well

The responsiveness of the Lennar team post closing has been unacceptable. This was compounded by many issues of poor quality materials and poor workmanship.

Had high expectations that were not met based on testimonials from friends

My first time homebuying experience has been harrowing. It had taken four months for my driveway and walkway to be laid, and I'm still waiting on the landscaping. I get most of the process is weather contingent, but I've seen other homes around me completed and the owner have yet to move in. It has been an inconvenience having to park on the street with limited parking. I love my home, but the process has been exhausting.

Very ship materials are use to build, finishes are really bad.

I have been lied to by almost everyone associated with Lennar. Starting with Lennar Mortgage to the new construction manager at the 3 final house walkthroughs. Promises made promises broken. Even the warranty process where cases are closed when parts on order take longer than Lennar likes. And another created when work scheduled and closed again when work not completed. Only to be resubmitted again and again. Who are you fooling? Not me. Lennar get your act together.

Overall the sell representatives are really nice and very professional but unfortunately I can't say anything good on the construction side . The supervisor doesn't commit to his roll on supervising his construction manager. The construction manager really need a better training when it comes to delivering the quality products that Lennar offers.Construction managers all they want is not make you sing off on there release to close title and don't care about the quality always very denial on everything we point out that need to be fix. So my advise to all new buyers is make sure they listen and don't sing any documents until they actually fix everything that is incorrect install . They lie don't trust them because once you sing there release they will send you straight to warranty team and ignore not do what they promised fix. BE CAREFUL. ... More

I wouldnot recomend lennar to otherhome buyers

As I am writing this review after one month after moving in this is genuine feedback from my experience not some fake, AI generated one… Its very interesting how big home builder like Lennar messes up your plans starting from delays in construction, closing time and at end rushing for everything as if tomorrow is end of world. They are not compensating for the delayed and not even adjusting closing date after all this mess. Their closing coordinator and title company reps just don’t care of what you are saying at all. Again their mortgage company is worst of all, loan officers response to your questions and the way they interact with you is very frustrating but as they see they are not going to get business with then they will rush like anything. After sales services are not a different story. Construction quality is also worst with issues with nail pops everywhere, loose stairs bullnose, uneven flooring, missing or unfinished paint on walls, not a moveable clean home after closing etc… Max was our after sales construction manager to note and get the cosmetic and major construction misses/issues to fix but that guy is at another level of non-responsiveness when we reach out to him. Overall if possible don’t plan to buy home from Lennar. If buying, don’t hope much from them and just close home with other lenders. You would think paying almost $400,000 for a house it’d come dang near perfect but not the case at all. MULTIPLE major and minor issues, many that were listed off to be fixed before our move in date that were not. Bubbles in the drywall (ceilings and walls), crooked outlets, windows, door knobs, doors not latching, towel bar falling out of drywall, all hot water was running out of the cold side and vice versa, bathtub leak in spare bathroom, chips in the tile. Very poor quality. Not to mention the amount of trash we have blow into our yard daily due to the careless workers not being able to use a trash can or trash bag. When requesting minor issues to be corrected, builder almost like sees it as an inconvenience and we should let it slide. Absolutely not. ... More

Overall the buying experience was your typical one…Nothing special. However I would not recommend Lennar Homes as their workmanship and quality of materials used are extremely poor. I have found holes where they didn’t bother fixing because they covered it up with equipment or other items. Homes are built so fast that there is no possible way to have it deemed even sub-par. The electrical wiring is not copper…It’s just wrapped with copper such that when a wire is pulled it simply snaps. Lennar uses the most cheapest material they can find from the quartz countertop (and it’s a mix of quartz and a less quality material) to their wiring and equipment. Even the shower tiles look like they’re from the 1990s! 12”x12” tiles ugly beige tiles! Really??? Don’t recommend buying a Lennar Home. ... More

I will and already have cautioned others regarding this development. The day after I went to settlement they dropped prices 40k on same unit. Paint in unit very poor quality. Was told that areas would be covered except for sod (watering) a prospective buyer recently told me that HOA will not cover areas. The sales agent represented otherwise and did the same on other points.

The home buying process was some what easy. But the home was poorly put together. The caulking throughout the home was poorly done. The weather stripping around the doors is spotty. I've had problems with the breaker box, dishwasher, and outlets, and no utility closet. Jusr 3 bedrooms, 2 barhs. I have no doorbell, no shower door, and no towel bars. The worst part is that my neighborhood is accepting Section 8. Which is something I heard that Lennar approves of. The biggest issue is the interior design, its awful. It seems that the guy designed interior part of the did not have any knowledge of how to use the space. Too small bathrooms and cabinets are very bad with no drawers. It is a waste of money and Im not happy with my purchase.The homes are priced very high. I don't recommend anyone to buy.

Very disappointed in our new build. Cheap construction & quality. They used the cheapest appliances they could find. The 1st 2 builds in our community have double pane windows, ours are single pane & the condensation every day is crazy. They just threw the houses together as quickly as possible with multiple issues for the homeowners to handle. Our floors ate uneven, our garage wasn't working correctly, the refrigerator & dishwasher were so cheap we have already replaced them. We regret buying a new build right now.

From the start, salesman lied about what was included in HOA fees. There were many many construction defects with the home - from plumbing, to electrical to carpentry, appliances, tile, garage flooring etc. Lennar needs to spend more money on the various different trades so as to not have so many things that need to be repaired or replaced before homeowners move in and afterwards as well. The after home purchase was horrible. The loan process was the absolute best!

I don’t even know where to begin. I trusted you. I was excited to get a brand new home only to find out that the the workmanship is shoddy. My yard is a swamp and I have expressed my concerns about this for two months only to be pushed aside. I have had multiple contractors over to my home only to state that they’ve never seen anything like this in their life. I wouldn’t recommend Lennar to a dog. The walk-through was smoke and mirrors I couldn’t even concentrate on the issues only to be told after I close that sorry you’ve closed so there’s nothing we can do. I’m just waiting for my foundation to crack in half. I’ve put thousands of dollars into this house already and I’ve only begun to just make it livable and I haven’t even totally moved in yet because I’m scared too ... More

Working with Taylor was amazing. Unfortunately Taylor doesn’t manage all aspects of the buying experience. The financing and getting to close was a disaster. It seemed like this was Lennars first home to mortgage and close. The price we ended paying is probably “fair” in today’s market but I do not think the price the home was listed at and the quality that went into building the home are comparable. So many small things could be done that would make these homes stand out and most likely bring a higher selling price, for example update fixtures and door handles instead of the cheap silver construction grade. A little thought of outlet placement would have gone a long way too. In the end, we purchased the home so I can’t complain too much! After being in the home for a couple months it just feels like we took a step backward from our previous home. ... More

Lennar Mortgage is great Melissa and Jodi were amazing with the process!! As far as Lennar Sales Office, very dishonest, the quality of the home and quality of materials used, attention to detail is horrible.

Still emptying buckets from our leaking ceiling every single morning 5 weeks in

Warranty not addressing flooding issue . Next step Charlotte county permitting my home for occupancy when flood damage possible due to grading. Still not addressed. Lanai set low unable to drain.

First I was told bu 2 people home would be cleaned when I got here, it was not cleaned and we had to get here at 6 AM to clean before movers came at 8. Then the hot water shutoff broke off, looked like had been broke and glued back together was told plumber called twice no one ever showed up for several weeks, HVAC was out for a week motor broke in attic. HVAC people put a window unit in, can't imagine my electric bill is going to be. Threhold for front door had shims, wood cracked was pointed out during inspection never fixed when asked was told it was done and it was not. I closed from another state 5/22, told everyone I couldn't be here until 6/7. Got here all the lights on and AC set at 72. Again going to be on my electric bill. The only person that really helped me was the local sales guy Darrell, He told me how to use the app to report things, went out of his way to find out things for me and I think he is fairly new. After using the app to report issues things started getting done after several weeks, almost a month of trying.I would hope Lennar if anything during my bad experience would contribute to electric bill since AC went out, windown unit running non stop tripping circuits and leaving lights and AC running for 17 days prior to me getting here. My overall experience is not good, was hounded to take mortgage, sell me home owners insurance relentlessly was even sent 74 page mortgage papers to my home. It went to the burn pile. Sent email to stop harrassing me, was told it was system generated isssue. Funny how you get hounded to take mortgage, insurance and when you need something nothing happens for weeks. Very disappointed in my whole experience, work all your life to retire and own a new home then have to deal wih all these issues. The people handling the loan took forever to respond, would not read emails I sent them before asking me for information, information which I clearly stated in the email I sent. Quality control seemed to miss an extremely crooked window, an EV charger that was installed upside down and with a connection that doesn’t work. No Lennar is stating they won’t pay for the adapter or fix the issue. I do not like I could not change the countertop or cabinets, I can’t believe a master bathroom is sold as a tub/shower combo without the option to change it. Didn’t like the very limited options offered by Lennar compared to other builders ... More
