Homes not tailored to buyer

These homes are not tailored to buyers, just to sell, if you expect that they will make even small changes to layout, color or anything for you, to the home, then you would need to go through a different builder, because they don't do that here, my experience is not a good one, so I will not recommend to others.

The material used are cheap .. the wash mashing dryer and dish washer were cheap.. they put the filter for the air conditioner on the ceiling.. someone forget to tell them this is a retired community..

Not a great experience.. no attention to details.. promise they would fix things when we went to closing on the way back nothing was done.. we owned a west bay home and a GL home and this was the worst ..

I would never buy a house from Lennar again! Lennar cut every corner possible to increase their profit. My townhome in the Estuaries in Huntsville is missing drywall in a closet, paint is peeling from the walls, and they didn't install crown molding or kitchen pendent lights to cut costs even though they used pictures with crown molding and lights in the advertisement. Multiple cabinets are broken by what looks like someone standing on the edge of the cabinet. My neighbor's shower had mortar or concrete poured down the drain by the builder and had to have his entire shower plumbing ...

Within a week my house has nail pop, cracks in the walls and don’t get me on the easy to stain flat paint they use. You fall in love with the model they show you and then they decide to tweek little things like 4 led lights in the dining room instead of the one so I can put a chandelier like I thought I could. I thought I was getting a decent size laundry room and the darn room can barely fit my washer and dryer. Not mulch for decor, just cheep pine needles. I was pushed to close when the house was not finished and ready for closing just because Lennars only priority is to meet their monthly sales numbers, not client satisfaction, service and quality. There were multiple unfinished things in the house … the punch list at walkthrough had over fifty items that needed to be done or fixed. Then as soon as we closed and Lennar got paid in full there were no responses or support to get things fixed. Multiple emails and visits to the sales center to try to get any attention. Have cut cost on so many fronts.

Lennar has cut costs on so many fronts, as cheap as failing to give garage door opener keypad. Windows Sil, cap/trim for half wall, opener for third car garage, window in the stair area, cover for patio, retaining wall for slopy backyard, soft close for the kitchen cabinet doors & drawers are all missing. The quality of workmanship & materials is very poor. Response to issues takes months!

Day one I was promised Lennar would over communicate during the process however it was quite the opposite. It took me contacting every VP in Lennar to get responses from my salesperson and community rep. Once I finally got answers to questions, I would get the standard response of “I can’t answer that because so and so handles that.” When I arrived for my final walk through the cleaning team was still there so we worked around them. The experience has been an experience you do not want as a homeowner. It started with discouraging you from having a Realtor and getting a Lawyer. Get your home inspected as there are many flaws and some areas not completed to standards. You must take your time during the initial inspection of your home to include the outside landscaping area. I had dead trees and when request of replacement was done Lennar stated that landscaping is not included. Ensure your irrigation system works!!! Most cheapest materials and borderline bait switch tactics

The model home and things in it are much different than the final products or things added to the different homesites. Finish is terrible, materials are cheaper than cheap. It feels like we need to renovate even though it's a new house.... the smallest toilets and appliances.

Experience with Lennar. Disappointing.

Lennar tries to build the homes too fast so this affects the quality of the workmanship. Creates a lot of warranty issues and rework. I have the worst ceiling I have ever seen with drywall issues. Once you close on the house they forget about you and take forever to finish uncompleted items. You become a low priority and they move on to building other houses. Very frustrating. Have to keep calling and keep getting put off with excuses. Construction managers only care about finishing the house and moving on to the next one. Why do they rush the closing when the house is not finished.

2 month to fix all the issues and poor materials

We have been dealing with all type of situations in this house. From poor materials to inefficient service to solve the issues. We have been calling and asking for the issues to be resolved over and over without any success. It’s been 2 month were the house can’t be rented and we are at revenue loss. Without counting the several expenses we have incur since we don’t live in USA.

Poor Ground Maintenance

Homeowners are doing their part of maintaining their properties. However, LANNAR is lacking on their part. Overgrown grass and weed make it difficult to use the sidewalks. In addition, to getting bit by animals or reptiles in the Overgrown grass and crap grass.

When things go wrong, you're on your own

So, there were multiple cracks on the masonry of our Lanai, it was hard to ignore. The construction manager kept saying it was within code. We had to put up quite the fuss, including consulting a lawyer to get them to fix the cracked Lanai on our supposed new house. Since moving in, one of our house numbers fell off. 3 out of the 4 house numbers were glued on instead of being nailed down. It's still not fixed. First, we needed to put in a service request online. Then we had to set up a virtual appointment to show them the issue ( only available during weekdays during work hours mind you) and ...

Rushed build! Beware

Lennar rushed to close on the property. They scheduled 5 walk throughs at the same time with the same person. Units were lacking appliances, closet doors, garage doors and garage floor coating. The fit and finish represents a rushed build. It’s a month and a half later and unit is not complete.

All Seems Good Until Your Locked In

Lenders I worked with, (Jami in financing), rude and unprofessional. Building manager, (Tyler), (Natures Trail), makes promises that doesn't t come to fruition and loses key to home to my front door. Staff overall friendly, but once locked in, completely fade to 0. If Lennar wants to beat the competition, they should train their staff to be there for the customers even after the closing date.

The sales and finance teams are awesome. The warranty team has been good to work with. The overall construction, workmanship, oversight and quality are absolutely terrible. The trade workers have no regard for the way they perform their jobs. When the home was completed and turned over to me it was a disgrace. Please take some pride in what you do and give people a home they can be proud of from day one.

I didn’t care for the experience Lennar had to offer, from loan approval to buying. You guys talk a big talk to get us in, but I didn’t care for the final product, I’m not one to complain because I know how to fix anything. But truly Lennar if I could say sux, I would but I just can’t. Anyhoo, I will not recommend anyone to go through this experience said to say, I mean just ask my wife she has it all written down, all of Lennar’s mistakes

-A large pattern of sod was stolen from our backyard the day of or right before closing and took a month to be replaced. -The wrong addressed deadbolt was installed on our front door so we couldn't properly secure our home until they got the right address. It was a nightmare from the time construction started

We identified several issues during construction and Lennar was largely non-responsive. We closed with a tear in the carpet of one bedroom. It took 7 weeks for them to correct the issue. Once they finally came to fix it!, It took approximately 2 hours. We had similar experience with other issues.
