Lennar collects a vast volume of totally confidential information, much more than is necessary for me to be proven as a responsible buyer and payer. I do not believe this information is stored in a suitably secure manner. I worry about my identity being stolen by others or shared with others I do not want it shared with by Lennar. We sign waaaaay too many documents giving Lennar the right to own our lives. I do not trust Lennar!!!!!! Most of the staff we dealt with are great.

Unfortunately day3 of moving in I had a leak that caused the spare room to have to have the carpet removed and the wall. It only has been a month and a half and I still have a dirty makeshift cover in my bedroom for the contractors which is ripped. I had to have multiple attempts for them to figure out the sewage issue. It wasn’t until I left a review that Bayonet the contractor they use actually did something. The model being used was the same floorplan, but 180 square feet larger, so visually misleading. Changes were made to the floorplan on the website without notifying buyers. Lennar decided on a massive price reduction several months after we signed the purchase contract, so most neighbors paid substantially less than we did. We were unaware of the price reduction prior to closing in February.

This process was extremely painful and unfriendly to myself as the homebuyer. I have purchased 4 homes and this was easily the worst experience. The concierge, Debs communicated terribly, was condescending, and was completely unwilling to help us negotiate a closing date, time, and location that was best for us. Our initial request was to close remotely in Florida which we were told could not happen. Firstly I'd like to say that the attention to problems is not addressed . I was told that an issue was resolved but in fact it was not. Still working through it. Day after close found the furnace did not work. Had to submit a warranty claim on day 1. Sod issue. Took more than a month after close to get it placed. Then found that is was all dead and brown. Having to follow up with that now. Found after closing that the stove top burner plates are gone. Have to work that issue. Why? Not a happy camper with the builder at this point!!!

Lennar, without my authorization, utilized a broker and Dilos Insurance, resulting in a $3,000 annual insurance premium. This fee was not disclosed until the contract signing with the notary, where I felt pressured to proceed. Immediately after acquiring the property, I secured alternate insurance for $850 per year. The subsequent reimbursement process from Dilos Insurance proved problematic. Dilos communicates solely with brokers, and Lennar offered no assistance. The experience was unacceptable from the start. We were misinformed about multiple important issues by the salesperson. The homeowner orientation was a joke. Noting was explained to us . When we asked about operating the pool we were told I don’t know I’m not a pool guy. We were given no information about how r trash was handled. Essentially nothing was explained to us.

If I wouldn't have lost my deposit I would have backed out of this purchase. I visited the home site just about every week during construction. I was always finding discrepancies and poor workmanship. They would fix just enough to appease me but it was still just the minimum. A crack in the slab almost all the way across from one side to the other, crooked wall plates, waves in the walls, loose studs, gaps in the sheathing, poor scarf joints in the molding, the list goes on. Financing was great experience. However, I wasn’t pleased with being told the HOA was not going to be an issue-I’ve still not been able to get my approval and the HOA sends out warning and threats weekly. You shouldn’t lie to prospective buyers. I also am not satisfied with the materials used -such as fence materials and glass shower doors or the cheap plastic bath tub/shower stall. House is built cheap-I had to epoxy garage floor because lennar won’t fix it-that cost ME $2500-and the air conditioner-heater is not proper size for this size house-it’s not big enough- and that was documented by house inspector!floor tiles have lots of chips etc.etc

Emphasis more on getting the contract signed without proper inspection and taking responsibilities for resolving client's issues. My property had a number of poor finishes and uncompleted snag list of items. This was left for me to arrange post move-in. In addition, I had electrical issues which I was not adequately supported for resolution even though this was a know issue according to the electrical engineer who later fixed the issue. I still have issues to be resolved once I have time to organize it. My experience was a terrible one and would not like it to be repeated.

Staff showed signs of incompetence, lies were told about the readiness of the property, loan officer was a fast talker, and often was delayed in response, closing attorneys were big liars and incompetent, onsite realtors told several small lies ( not Malcom). I’d never go with Lennar again or recommend. Emily is great! Promote her.

Customer service is not good. The master bedroom shower is useless with no tap at the bottom and sliding glass door is hard to clean. The master bedroom wic is literally in the corner you have to walk through the bathroom to get there and there is no power outlet in it. I told my desire what type of home I am looking for but the Lennar team was very cold. They didn't help me to find my first home to be my dream home. I wish it could be my dream home. The team you have is not supporting at all. We moved from New Jersey for this home. The team was not cooperating with us to find the perfect home

Do not use Lennar mortgage. Maybe it was just my loan officer but phone calls weren’t returned. Emails not answered and I was told I was getting money back at closing. Then I wasn’t. Then I was. I was told to put 10% down but it turned out it should only have been 5%. Then I was told PMI had to have insurance on it in order to get it cancelled if I paid it off early. Then I was charged $7000 for it. Go to any other lender. Not lennar lending.
