The construction and quality of build was exactly as expected. The financing promised was misleading and in the last 30 days before closing I was forced to find a new lender. The recommended “sister” company handed things off to a new associate who constantly asked for items he already had access to. Additionally they blatantly lied to me regarding their efforts to verify employment which delayed underwriting who then changed the loan terms right before closing costing me around $10,000 over the life of the loan. My advice is to find your own financing and avoid the headache.

We felt very rushed through the entire experience, Lennar mortgage dropped the ball on numerous occasions and left us wondering if the transaction was going to close. We were rushed through the final walk through process and was forced to accept the home as it was, and were left with numerous issues with damaged appliances, damaged cabinets, incomplete and poor drywall and paint finishes. Warranty has been good. Smoke alarms have been miserable to deal with. The underwriter was awful and drug his feet until the day before closing. Quality for the price is mediocre.

Loan process was good..home buying agents did not tell the truth and lead you to believe false home releases. Multiple callout provided on Poor workmanship, Finally the Construction Manager, said that is the design of Lennar and they have seen the pattern in all houses. The design of structure is poor. On the day of closing , got the key and opened the door with lots of dreams, happiness and excitement, shattered into pieces looking at the with so much dirt. Called the construction manager, sales manager and they were not available. Latter received the call saying he personally check and house is clean. This is the quality Lennar provides.

Unhappy with your sales team, and terribly unhappy with the Lennar loan process. Promises made but we're not fulfilled and my sales lady was not at all helpful. When I asked her for help, I got nothing but referrals with no interest in trying to be helpful.... Just excuses.

Buying a home should be an exciting time, but after a life-sucking buying experience the excitement is long gone. We were lied to by the community representative. Multiple issues with the lender. I was so excited to find a new Lennar Home for sale in Lockhart, Tx. I had a great experience when I'd previously purchased a new build home with Lennar in 2013 in Austin Tx. This time; however, my experience was highly disappointing. I've had multiple issues in my new home to include a significantly broken piece of wood trimming out my garage door that was simply nailed on and painted over. A lot of promises to get us in the house. No one knows what the right hand is doing through the whole process. Lack of communication with sells people to loan officer to contractors! Signing day shows up and no one from Lennar was there, called them and they said it’s normal for us not to be there for signing day that the title company will walk you through everything you need to know! Promise us some of our closing cost back and said, oh in the middle of your contract the state changed your closing cost and we can’t give you back your money! Should have had an attorney with us!

The finish work on Lennar homes is sloppy and the materials used are cheap. I have had to replace 4 lights in the 4 weeks I have lived in the brand new home because the lights are of poor quality. The front door is already coming apart and the dishwasher has a work order in to be repaired. The upstairs floors pop when walking across them. The materials used in Lennar homes are inexpensive and will not last the life of the home. I will have to spend my own money to replace all of the recessed lights because they are bad quality. These are things that should not be breaking in a brand new home.

Really a 2.5-2.75 star rating for me. I want to start by saying I really love the community and my home. I have found some of the materials and initial painting to only be so-so. There was some patch work done in our master bathroom that wasn't painted over just before we moved in. Not a huge deal, but as a brand new build you expect perfection and don't expect small projects with your home right out of the gate. Overall Homebuying experience with Lennar has been a "nightmare". First they would not put in the right outside light like "every other house" on my street has, they told me there was a blue print change but if you go through the neighborhood you will see that my house and only 1 other has NO outside light like all the other houses.
