Lender doesnt put out information as necessary and Lennar Rep doesn't honor their words thats promised

If you buy a house from Lennar, make sure you ask questions all informations that you're confused on because they dont explain things to you to level that you'll understand it and they expect that your comprehension about home buying informations are same as theirs. Another thing, make sure you review all paperworks before you sign the closing or as the notary agent explain stuff to you because again, the lender doesnt put out information to where your "credits" goes to and ours almost didnt get all credited because of lack of communication from lender. Lennar has responded quickly, but after nearly 2 months many issues are still not resolved. The workmanship is poor, and we have been dealing with a very hot upstairs due to A/C issues. The price and location was good, but we have been underwhelmed thus far.

Very poor final walk through and resolution of issues noted during walk through as well as cleanliness of house. The house was a mess and needed to be thoroughly cleaned multiple times. The builder was sloppy with some workmanship also

Lennar used to be much higher quality however now has cut many corners to save even the smallest amount of money. They are now a small step above KB even with their "Everythings Included" slogan. The reason I went through with the purchase was the financing incentives.

I was excited to do my first house build - a dream achievement! However, this was not the new home buyer experience I expected from a touted national builder. Lennar gets an "F" for communication - from my 'concierge' to the mortgage company to the escrow manager to the customer care team. Emails contain erroneous information, days and dates are incorrect. I bought an investment property recently from Lennar. Overall very bad experience, not worth the price I paid, I was talked into this by realtor was compensated on top of the regular commissions for selling a bunch of units over a weekend. They are allowing a huge chunk of the community for investors which is not ideal for the primary residents or investors. Their interest rates are really high and the overall experience with their lender was worse. They keep asking for same documents, very chaotic, confused all the time. The house itself is a tragedy, the longer I live here the more horrible things become apparent regarding the "quality" of these homes. Wiring -Ask about the wiring, because they will skimp out on it if able. They use 14 guage wiring throughout most of the house where they could, so hope you don't like gaming on a pc or two cause good luck with it not tripping the breaker every so often. -Want to mount stuff in your garage? We got a lot of square footage for the money and a nice-sized lot. Some nice material selections and others not so much. Still waiting for punch list items from the closing (2 months now) to be addressed. Reached out to my contact and haven't heard back. We used to own a Truland Home (before DR Horton bought them). Lennar doesn't come anywhere close to that quality or experience.

Our closing date has been moved and no proper communication and the delay of everything though the documents has been submitted a couple months back before closing date. Travelling all the way from WI to CO for closing in bad weather and information on cancellation due to underwriting delays and the Sales responsibility and each of the persons involved was very concerned. The response of delays and the way staff communicate was not good . It’s kind of staff answering like you take or leave the agreement for the conversations which we have concerns about the insurance. Home buying process with Lennar lender was not smooth lots of back and forth. Quality of home is just ok. Considering the amount of HOA fees I would expect some community amenities but there are none.

Won't service bad sod!!

Sod was laid dominant at the time. Once growth began weeds popped up. I was told nothing could be done. Also the sod was supposed to be rolled and two after close still not done . When the lawn service cuts they are making ruts and tearing up loss sod. Ruining the lawn!!

The home purchase was the builder closeout of remaining homes for sale, so everything was already picked out and the remaining homes were more like spec home with minimal options added. The process with the builders mortgage dept. was not a smooth process by far. After initial contact with loan officer all seemed to start well, but short lived. The Lennar team lacked communication. Any time we had a question it seemed like no one made time to respond or help us out unless they needed something from us; like sign a document or process a payment. Everything felt rushed and they wouldn’t accommodate to simple request we had during the closing process. Very satisfied with the house I bought, just disappointed in some of the communication skills.

We looked at the property the first week in February 2024. There were some issues we were promised would be completed at the time we looked at the property, for instance, the shrubs out front were dead and we were told that there is a 1 year warranty on the shrubs and that they would be replaced in the spring. We have now been in the house 6 weeks and called the HOA and were informed that they were not listed on the inspection report and that it was our responsibility to replace them. Also the cable was never completed throughout the house, Verizon said the builder never completed the fiber ...

Buying experience was torture. To many physical issues with house and property for the price paid. Quality of construction is marginal at best. would not recommend Lennar to a friend, maybe I would to someone I did not like.

Brandy was a horrible sales person. Customer service was horrible they would talk over you make you feel like you’re dumb when it came to paperwork When I closed on my house the landscaping was horrible. I couldn’t even take a picture because it looked so bad. On my final walk we were told they would replace the whole thing. I would never buy a Lennar home again

The quality and the materials used in the whole house are not the best standards. There are gaps, and unfinished work, and the materials used are very basic quality. Even the amount of time and follow-ups it takes to get unfished works done from construction managers is also humongous. If no follow-ups, nothing we'll be done. So a lot of waste of time even after paying for the house.

The mortgage and title company were both an absolute nightmare to work with, horrible communication, not disclosing things properly, and the layout of how things were going to work, were not at all in the order/flow.
