Lennar is very hands off, they have little to no communication, on every side. Sales, mortgage and especially construction/warranty really do not make an effort once the sale is made.

Well, I can’t write a good review! Our irrigation system in front still doesn’t work! Our spa heater didn’t work for at least a month after we closed! The permits on the pool and pool cage and gas line were not closed before we moved in. We finally got ahold of Lennar Representative that helped us.. We were caught in the middle of Lennar and Holiday pool! You think you would want to make this process happy for people, we just bought a new home! Then you have to contend with warranty work! You never talk to anyone, just get on your computer and put in a request for warranty work!! Warranty ...

Been waiting on someone to come and fill up the utilities trench that sunk after a little rain. There's a big hole that stretches all along my back fence where utilities run. I was told they were going to come and fill it and so far nothing. I've been living here since January 25th.. The cheap floor planks are peeling off the floor also.. Osciel T.

Sigh! Most frustrating, costly purchase I made. The Lennar mortgage was the most frustrating. Realator was ok. The warranty guys had some hiccups, but they were probably the shining stars in a full galaxy, but the 3rd parties they use are awful.

- Hard to find the right person to explain the detailed T&C in the contract documents. - No one tells the whole flow, and the progress. Many Lennar internal teams like Lennar Insurance, Lennar Title, Lennar Mortgage, are not talking to each other. As a buyer, I have to explain and reach out each one for any supports needed. - After the closing, not sure when and how can the buyer get the full set of official documents including the registered deed. - The construction team did the sod installation before the mutual agreed date without notice, resulting the huge extra costs and longer time ...

No attention to detail, I expect more. Faucets crooked, outlets crooked and not flush, upgrades are extremely over priced. While I will continue to live here, I would NOT buy from this company again.

I am very disappointed with my new townhome. LOTS of slipshod work and no attention to detail in making things look nice. LOTS of corners cut. I would not recommend Lennar Builders or my sales person. He never gave updates when he said he would and repeatedly would not return phone calls for weeks.

Lennar was very responsive when I initially signed for the property and things changed afterwards. The workmanship is poor and cheaper products, lights, bathroom fixtures are used. The paint job is very poor. I have begun to have my Villa repainted. I would not recommend at this time.

This review is meant to be a level-headed review for future potential buyers. I will say that the sales staff is amazing and very attentative! I have no issues with the sales team at all. My issue is based on the craftsmanship and the warranty department. CRAFTSMANSHIP: Okay so the structural is good and solid. They use 2x6 boards and did a good job. Lennar Orlando Operation is not good as its Reno operation

No brusures and feature list were given to customers. The salesman just texts the information to your cell phone. They does not provide sliding screen door as it should. They rush to conduct the final walkthrough when the construction is still under going without water. The doors can not closed without forced pushing. During online closing, the customers do not received the contact list of the utility companies, schools and emergency response. They did not disclose the 1% builder fee upfront.

My husband and I have purchased three brand-new homes in the past 35 years. This experience was by far the worst experience. From poor responsiveness by the sales team to the construction team to the customer care team, it's incredible to me that Lennar can survive. That said, we are in our home and love it. Over-prices cattle herders

Pushy sales people with very little empathy for those of us trying to sell homes in this market. Cheap appliances, carpet, fixtures, paint, window sills… thin walls that let in traffic noise, and the cabinetry (small, not soft close) comes without hardware, which means you have a hard time opening your kitchen drawers! Experience with work completion dates, delayed closing dates to quality of work has been sub par. Our independent realtor has been fantastic and guided us through the entire process based on prior experiences. We are in the warranty period with a number of issues needing to be addressed. The verdict is still out on this process.

The sales team was helpful and knowledgeable until the contract was signed. After signing their ability to respond to emails and provide answers suddenly disappeared. The construction management team was frequently dismissive about concerns and condescending in their responses. The workmanship was poor, drywall imperfections everywhere and gaps in trim. Pretty disappointed. I have also had very little communication from the sales and warannty team. I bought a home with David Weekley a year ago so I have a good baseline understanding of the process and Lennar's experience was far inferior to David Weekley's.

Shady craftsmanship

After first home inspection managed to find dozens of flows, while during second home inspections, only few items has been fixed while other ones are still pending month after move in. Had constant issues with Lennar Mortgage. They were not reliable in responding to messaging. When it came time to close, they were still dragging their feet on fixing issues that had been known for months. The construction team has been great in response to warranty issues but there’s no reason it should not have been done prior to closing. The amount of blue tape issues that were not corrected or were brushed under the rug are not great. We love our home, but I would not buy with Lennar again.

The underwriting process was a complete mess. My close date had to be moved because of this. The underwriter and processor were so difficult to work with, I got approved a day before closing. The processor would not answer calls or emails and would keep requesting for the same document even though it had been uploaded multiple times. She would not call to clarify or nothing.
