When I first entered into a Contract the day of the Employee assigned was all over the place and kept getting up and not focused on the Customer. I lost out on a lot of things that could have been now that I am in this house.

Take your time and if the person working at the office cannot Focus ask for someone else. I could have included more things I wanted after I spoke with neighbors. Also when I signed I would call and ask questions and never a response. Also contact Lennar Higher Level and Basically they protected the employee and only excuses. I liked the All Included but was it worth it? First Impressions stay with a person. Homes in Florida are not the Standard I expected. No interiar wall insulation for example

Lennar responded:
Thank you for your feedback about your experience, Ricky. We are sorry to hear about the issues you described. Please email us at corporatecustomercare@lennar.com if there are items needing to be addressed and we will follow-up for you. – Lennar Customer Care

All-in all i think I got good value.. the quality seems decent for the price though its only been a few months I have had no issues. The only upsetting part of the transaction was that it was made clear my closing date was set in stone and could not be changed (i asked to move it up even 3 days and was ignored). On the day of closing it seemed nobody knew i was closing. I reached out to my realtor a few days prior as i'd heard nothing and she didnt respond. I sent a frustrated email the day before closing because I hadn't heard a thing and finally got a response that was quick and ...

There has been some random issues we’ve had to call in for warranty. Lennar is responsive, however each item has taken several days to get attention. Everything is at least one day for a telephone call, then a day or two to have someone come out. By the time they come out issues are usually fixed quickly. Aiden is very responsive and gave me his cell phone number and I’ve reached out with questions and gotten responses fairly quickly. I rated quality low due to my home specs was go be built with wood on the stairs and it wasn’t. Some various items was missed on building the home. We found ...

My experience with Lennar was mixed. I asked about purchasing a five-bedroom home at the same price as a four-bedroom with a home office, but was told the incentives would only apply to the four-bedroom option. The home was already pre-selected, so I didn’t have the opportunity to choose finishes or customize features. I also requested doors for the office space but was told that couldn’t be accommodated. Overall, I would give the experience a rating of two stars.

Lennar responded:
Good morning Bradley, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience felt limited in terms of options and customization. As you know, most of our homes are sold as pre-selected inventory, which can affect the availability of finishes. Moving forward, if you have any questions or warrantable items, please submit a service request through your Lennar Account. The main factor contributing to this low rating is all the incorrect information we were fed along the way by the new home consultant/agent. The most egregious being that we were told they would NOT be building any neighboring houses to one side of us. The agent even chuckled when I asked if we would have a neighbor on that side of our house because there was a big hillside appearing unsuitable to build a home on. I asked this question multiple times during the initial visit. This home had a $10k site/lot markup and we assumed it was due to the perk of having no neighbors on one side. After ...

From the start the buying process was terrible. It took up until closing to know if we were good to go for the loan from lennar mortgage. We were originally scheduled for a walk through the beginning of May. When we drove 4 hours for a 9am walk through, we were notified on site at the house that the walk through was moved. No one communicated this with us. The only formal documentation was sent 24 hours after our walk through. Do not trust the settlement contact to reach out to you. They will be unresponsive, and unprofessional. During our final home inspection walkthrough, there ...

Although Lennar is not a bad builder and i love the home the home buying process was poor. There were five different people I was to communicate with and it was confusing the purpose of each persons job. When I explained this they were not helpful and did not improve the process. Just said “you can call any of us.” But the truth was each person had a different job. Very confusing and frustrating. We were excited to purchase our townhome and to get in on the first offering. We had a positive experience with our salesman and patiently waited several months as the finish date was delayed over and over again. Lennar’s fiscal year ends end of November. While we were on Thanksgiving weekend with our family, we were told that our CO was approved Thanksgiving day. (Nov28). Lennar’s sales manager forced us to close remotely Saturday the 30th. The house itself is nice and a good value for the money. The process of buying the house from the mortgage lender all the way through the celebration and acceptance had MUCH to be desired. Issues riddled throughout the entire process. Warranty claims had to be reopened because they were incorrectly denied. Upon final walk through house was not cleaned nor was it ready for the walk. Paint on all floors especially in carpeted areas. Multiple times said it was clean and wasn’t. Disappointed in finish out. The process of purchasing my home was a nightmare. Lennar is far to compartmentalized, there were something like 6 different points of contact depending on what you had a question or concern about, The salesperson was pushy and told me outright lies in attempts to expedite the process - "If you don't sign today, you risk losing the favorable interest rate" was a good one. We were lead to believe that if we put a deposit down to hold the lot that when the house was actually framed we would be able to get our deposit back if we did not like the house. One week after we put the deposit down we had to pay an earnest money. If I would have seen the completed house before the earnest money, I would have had serious second thoughts. I also made it abundantly clear that I plans on paying cash, but was still hounded by Lennar Lending to go through the loan process. A total waste of time.
