Initial meeting with sales rep was great. Told about 6 months to build. When signing purchase agreement, $10,000 was added to cost of lot and a tentative closing date of 8 months out. Although they really didn’t give a reason, I sensed they didn’t want to lock in a lower price knowing that it would take longer to build during supply chain shortage and labor issues. Actual closing date was backed up twice and ended up being 9 months and 2 weeks after singing purchase agreement. Lennar cuts corners and the quality of work is low.

Don't go with Lennar. They have some great people working there, but the company is run poorly. Someone at the top needs to be fired.

Not willing to accept buyer's request on multiple request/issues. Love the house, but I felt disappointed when I told him what the problem and he made it seem that we could fix it ourselves, there are few minor problems in and outside of the house, but he said just write all problems and it'll be fix before the warranty expires.The exterior paint needs to be paint in the summer. Had issues with the building team and the loan team that made the home buying process a living hell. There was not one sole person of contact on the building team that was responsible for communicating with me and getting issues pointed out at walkthroughs resolved. No care at all w/r/t consumer needs

Very organized process at first, but only to assure Lennar's rights and exemption of liabilities and obligations. My honest feeling is that the purchaser means absolutely nothing for them in any sense. Whenever things go wrong in the process (and they often do), all the burden is automatically imposed to customer. Lennar is extremely inflexible. They request escrow deposits with many days in advance, but cancel closing dates unilaterally with no (or very short) notice. If you have any problem (with loan bank, appraiser or insurance company – and I had them all), problem is all yours… No help, ...

Problems didn't take long to occur; there were cracks on walls, which was the slightest issue of them all. They didn't build the plumbing correctly, causing the water from the bathroom to overfill, have builders come back and dig up the waterline outside. The dishwasher leaked multiple times, which was an appliance issue. The kitchen cabinet had a huge crack on the side and was fixed, but after fixed, the drawer wouldn't close properly. The doorbell chime was burnt out within six months. The lightbulb in the bathroom dropped as well. The overall quality of this house was not worth the price, ...

Quality of workmanship is POOR

Homes are built with little to no pride of workmanship, just slap the homes up as fast as possible and any mistakes are overlooked or covered up with putty and paint.

Not what I was expecting

The insulation around the house is terrible, we can hear everything from the outside. Construction process was very poorly inspected. Materials used are not the best quality as promise. I'm not confident that I bought a house that will last for a very long time.

the lack of quality control

I have purchased two homes from this builder and my first experience was definitely not a good one. The person in charge of my house could care less about the quality of work being done. It has caused me great stress in trying to get my house in the shape that it should have been from the moment I walked in. There's really to much to write. My second house my builder was much better. Still some issues which I'm in the process of having taken care of. Thank goodness for the gal helping me on both houses as she has been a god send. She is getting things done properly.

Home quality is in par but the overall process was just a nightmare. There is a lack of coordination between departments and as a seller i had to constantly follow up on the process. Mortgage was also a pain to deal with. Every person needed hand holding to get me to close. It maybe because we were one of the first few movers in the community but i hope they fix the process.

Incompetence, below average workmanship.

The house was flooded while under construction, seemingly due to lack of oversight that would have caught it before the damage was so extensive. We fear that we have mold that will affect us later. Delays in completion cost us a lot of money, part of which ($1,000) Chad with Lennar said we would be compensated for, this never happened.

Pinnacle that failed to peak

The Pinnacle Plans were great but Lennar’s customer service, quality of work, and choices of contractors and materials used needs improvement. Everything was delayed, shuffled, and rushed to their benefit and not the customers. As a big company, they lack connections, customer service, personal touch and failed to please the customers when there are problems. I had a horrible experience with Lennar. The communication was horrible. I received "update" emails for the building process but, it was not correct. The building process was about 2 weeks behind from what the emails were saying was done/ to be done that week. During the scheduled "closing" week, I received communication from the Lennar team threatening to cancel the contract because I was not using their Lender. My overall experience is fair.just had some issues regarding the date of delivery because the builder insisted on closing date even the home was not ready for leaving in it. Like painting,bathroom shower doors were not installed yet.

From the drywall to the outside of the house, the workmanship is far below standard. Example: Outlet covers that fall off when you put in a plug. I can't believe I paid this kind of money for the value of the workmanship. Many corrections still not completed after almost two months living in the house.

We love our floor plan but are extremely disappointed with the quality of work on the house and feel like short cuts were probably taken. We are also displeased with the bidding and made the whole process feel like a car sales deal and more like a number not a home buyer. I wouldn’t recommend Lennar to anybody.

Home wasn’t close to finished for the walk through and wasn’t finished for closing. Almost two months on and I am still running around trying to get them to complete projects. I gave them four stars for trustworthiness only because I believe it will get completed.

False Promises - No followThru

We were made several promises only to receive crafty excuses, repeatedly. Quality is lacking in so many aspects of this construction it's difficult to name them all. Attention to detail is minimal from Lennar subconstractors. Simply put, the Lennar Team lacks integrity.

5 months after purchasing my home I am still waiting for construction damage repairs. I should have never closed with the construction damage. Now I feel like they are taking their time with repairs.

Although we appreciate that Lennar pushed to meet our established closing date, it was at the expense of the quality and completion of certain items. We are now 4-5 months post closing and still have items unfinished. Our construction manager essentially abandoned us and it's been extremely difficult getting things fixed via the warranty group. We love the house but this did not go the way it should have.

They will take a long time to replace items on the list when you closed. No ETA on when it will get done. Move in since the end of Nov 2021 and had issue with refrigerator which is still not working since day one. They will not replace and will tell you to deal directly with the manufacture (Frigidaire) Please don’t buy anything with Frigidaire they’re horrible to deal with, and will not replace anything even though it’s brand new. Quite a few things went wrong since the closing. We did not receive the gate RFID stickers so we were not allowed into our community, even though the HOA pdfs we received 4 hours after the closing (around 10PM) stated we should've received gate stickers to access our home, so our move was delayed. We were also missing 1 garage remote (the package mentioned 2, we got 1), but around 2 months later we finally received the missing remote.
