Over all my experience with Lennar was not so good as I expected. Everyone wants to buy a house at least in so good condition as seen visiting demo house. But unfortunatelly Lennar has a lot space for improvement... Twice was changed the closing date...it costs me, of course. I was shocked for the amount of undone jobs and broken materials, building materials were laying all around house, unclean pool, unpainted walls, unfinished frontyard etc. during New Home Orientation. Landscaper is HORRIBLE!!!!!

I have had problems with the landscaper and have absolutely no help getting the problem resolved! I had an agreement with Debbie from Double H as of 8/25 to install the rest of my sod for $525 when they finally got around to installing my sod that came with the home, which was already 3 weeks late. I emailed her on 9/9 to find out when the install was and she doesn’t reply until 9/12 at 8:26am and says they are installing that day but they are no longer installing for homeowners. The issues I saw during my walk through have not been address for the past 9 weeks. The Condo was dirty when we got here 2 weeks after our closing. Getting help through the Lennar warranty department now.

A nightmare process but a fine home.

Houses were slapped together quickly. New home had sloppy workmanship, garbage and extra materials were left in the home, and a light was literally hanging out of the ceiling by a wire, upon moving in. Disappointing for the price paid for the home. The closing date was pushed back day by day, which made hiring movers, a nightmare. It was pushed back over a week with little to no information of why. The home is beautifully designed but the process and craftmanship need improvement.

Not friendly and my way is highway attitude

Sales representative Mary Ann is the very rude and not responsive to address the question and refuse to meet in person despite repeated attempts. Home orientation session is rushed and don’t cover everything but expect the DocuSign be signed which makes it one way and not two way. Overall, Lennar do not have customer empathy as a service and not a satisfactory feeling. They are not trust worthy when reported the damage on delivery and don’t practice the code uniformly. I will not buy a home with Lennar next time

Not a great experience for a 1st time home buyer. Bad communication, there was never an answer on time, still having issues and there not being addressed or taking care of, was not provided the important information.

The home buying process with Lennar was highly disappointing. Our brand new home looked like it had already been lived in— dings in the walls, imperfections in the paint, torn up baseboards, paint splatters on our upgraded laminate flooring, and carpet, as well as a dirty home that was NOT cleaned after construction before move-in. Both the front and back doors are difficult to close and take a bit of force, while lifting up on the door to get them to close properly. Very unhappy with the overall experience. Once the home was sold to me I had to call various people to get any little information that I needed but everybody has been Very unresponsive. There are things under warranty like my garage door and the ring doorbell for which we do not have the code and I have tried calling multiple times but no response. We were rushed to close and they were not ready they could’ve taken another couple weeks and gotten things situated. After I came back from the settlement table I came back to a house that had no front door they still cannot fix a problem with with the door that they had so they took the entire front door off. Expect to be frustrated going through the process. Lennar mad us close on our house before it was ready - the finance people must run the show. They somehow got the CO but our AC didn't work, we had missing drawers, a vent cover, the pool didn't work, missing tile, a warped wall, and more. I asked them to redo many areas of trim and the redo was worse than the original. The subs are not really skilled craftsmen so expect a lot of uneven, misaligned, or warped areas. The workmanship in the entryway of the front door was poor. The front door wouldn’t open all the way and I had to advocate myself to get it addressed. The first attempt at resolving the issue was sloppy. Then the construction manager stopped replying to my messages. I then had to find another Lennar representative who would help me. Hopefully the warranty manager that I am working with now will resolve the issue but I currently have a front door that doesn’t open all the way.

We unfortunately have had on-going issues such as a main shower water leak and a secondary bathroom exhaust fan leak that have yet to fixed - almost two months now since we moved in! Subcontractors: the attention to detail is lacking. No home will ever be perfect but you can tell when a subcontractor cares about the quality of work they complete. These subcontractors left carpet being lifted up in corners, paint on the baseboards, more paint needed on the walls, and the sod is absolutely ridiculous. There are seperations between sod spots the size of my foot. I can understand that there was a county approval delay and supply chain issues but we didn't have enough transparency through out the process and were left hanging.
