First time buying house with them and was very disappointed! Lots of unprofessional workers on drywall, painting and electrical. They have to revisit my place many times after final walk.

Our biggest issue was that our getting the keys after closing was delayed for four hours because of a snafu in obtaining the occupancy certificate and even then, our unit had not been cleaned and our lanais screens were not in. That happened about a week later. Also, nobody helped us set up the technology for our smart phone and we still haven't figured out how to hook everything up including the security system and the door lock.

During this 6 months Journey our house practically build itself without any concerns or diligence from any of the construction managers. Outstanding issues like the shifting of our entire foundation was never even recognized unless I physically came over to the construction site and made them aware. Our Sales guy Patrick was completely oblivious of the status of our home and when we asked for any updates we would always have to wait for days before getting a response or would never get one at all. Our “Construction manager” changed 5 times during the course of the construction process, and in a few cases the home had no CM assigned to it. They all would say that “they really didn’t know what was going on with our home but that eventually it was going to get built…” We paid about 400k for a home that never felt that it was being built for us. There was no structure and no organization and definitely no communication from the operations side to the home buyers. You cant pretend that people spend this amount of money just to be kept in the dark until the home is completely built. This has not been our first home purchased but it has definitely been the worse. The finished product was unfinished. And we had to make over 30 warranty claims so that they can complete all the outstanding items. Without mentioning the huge grading issue that we were left with, the home being painted the wrong color, the electrical being wired wrong and the knee wall of our loft upstairs being completely loose. Overall I am now happy with my home, but it took a while to get there. The builder did not finish things that were promised to me at my final walk-through for closing date, and it has taken a very long time to get those things completed. The office staff at my community was great to work with, but I was not as happy with the building process.

I wish I had not bought a lennar house it has really bad workman's and very cheap materials.

I waited for months for Storey Park K 50 to finally open up lots for sale. Despite talking to my sales rep monthly waiting for it to open when the phase finally opened up for sale, my sales rep notified me after they had already sold the first 5 lots, which cause me to miss out on lower purchase price on the first lot offering. After signing, the house took longer than expected to start building, however the other homes beside us were always being built quicker. We always experienced delays compared to our neighbors to the point that in Nov 2021, the builder was rushing to finish our home to meet Lennar's year-end goal. The builder missed and had to rescheduled the new home orientation and final walk-thru 3 times because they just weren't done. We were not able to complete a home inspection with our approved home inspector either. Then on 11/30/2021 at 5:45pm, Lennar Title called for us to close that evening at 9pm. A final walk-thru was done with a punchlist that was very long. It was all too rushed and we had to close on the house with unfinished, unclean items. Lennar Mortgage and Lennar Title were unresponsive for the entire time and showed up at the end (1-2 days before closing on Thanksgiving holiday) to ask for documentation. The reps at each of these were not friendly and at time rude. Ever since closing on 11/30/2021, we had had weekly visits from different trades (that we have had to be badgering Lennar to send us) to fix, repair, and/or finish up the items on the punchlist. The lot was not properly graded and we are having drainage issues. Lennar keeps saying there are delays. One of the exterior doors to the house is damaged and Lennar had stopped following thru to fix it. Finally, the "Everything is included" concept only benefits Lennar and not the homeowner. In this new K50 phase, we have paid more money than any previous phase and received less quality items (i.e. shingle roof instead of title, lesser quality appliances, lesser quality garage doors, and outdated color brick pavers). The builder also put in a massive garden, which we did not want, in the backyard taking away much of our green space. I have built many homes in the past and this by far was the most stressful and annoying experience. I do not plan on using Lennar again in the future nor recommending them. ... More

Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. There’s so much wrong with our house. We are missing a lot and no one to come fix it. Horrible.

I have worked with several other builders and this home buying experience with Lennar by far is the worst. Builder rushed closing when the house was technically not ready. Lots of issues were promised to be fixed by move-in and ended up taking over months. Severe plumbing issues were found and quality of workmanship and materials is way below standard. I will never buy another house from Lennar again.

The home buying experience was great with our sales rep, Steve. However I would not use lennnar mortgage again. That was a lengthy and repetitive process.

Builder and sales agent were great.

Don't close until you are satisfied with the condition of the home!! We were told to come down from Wisconsin and that they were ready to close. When we arrived the home was a mess and not even close to ready! Lennar will eventually make things right, but WOW, what a struggle to get there!

Great people to work with and an easy process!

Push to close to make quotas. Over two hours rate at title office. During final walk through the home was not ready.

Don’t try to buy a home around the fiscal year end or any fiscal quarter because your home will be slapped to get it off their books and try to show a good profit. So many problems from rushing through a NHO to closing that problems and issues were not fixed or prior to closing due to doing a “Pre-sign” for closing.

With the process was smoother. Lots of little issues made this process unnecessarily difficult. But in all we love our home so that is the silver lining.

Craftsmanship and finishing is poor.

Seamless transaction. Warranty easy to use. Homes may cost more then worth.
