In my home inspection more than 80 defects were identified to be fixed. They did not fix even 10%. They missed almost all appointments.

Horrible company

Overall, the house is beautiful! The followup on responding to issues and fixing those issues is really bad. My landscaping throughout the backyard has holes to where almost every piece of sod that was laid, is going to cause someone to sprain or break their ankle. We paid to have our hood in the kitchen vented to the outside. This was not completed and no one has come out to correct despite multiple attempts at contacting to find out when this work would be done. I would not recommend this company to anyone because they do not stand behind their work or items that are listed in a contract.

I am extremely disappointed in the quality of the house. I understand it is the cheapest new built house in the county. However I stretched my dollars as a single mother to provide something better and safer for my daughter. Upon moving in there were a myriad of issues which are still unfixed as of today. I closed in November. I'm truly disappointed in the designer quality paint I was promised as when wiping the walls the paint and texture both come right off. Terrible finishing work

Literally every single piece of crown molding in my house has split and separated from the wall and we have only lived here for 6 months. There is a wall that is 2 inches slanted out in the middle of a hallway, the grinder pump wasn't installed properly and I spent a full day fixing it myself. Cal-Atlantic had a great design, Lennar however is terrible at execution. Shooty work all over and no pride taken in the craft. So many warranty issues I have to deal with.

Purchased a "Ready Home" in Solterra Springs that was not ready. There were missing doors, painting that needed to be done, and substandard workmanship overall. There are carpet staples popping up all over the edges of the carpeting. Quality control seems to be an issue.

False advertising about when amenities would be complete (that was a huge selling point for my family), their financing dept. (Eagle Home Mortgage) was horrible, horrible job on my kitchen back splash (it looks like I did it) and they pretty much keep you out of the loop on any changes (like us not having our pool, playground, etc until next year). They actually told a perspective buyer (that I referred) not to tell me about the amenities not going in! Luckily she told me and I called afterwards, total surprise to me. We payed for a premium lot size and found out after closing when we went install a fence that we are missing 10 ft of side yard. After doing some research, this is a common complaint for Lennar and there is nothing you can do about it except make sure you have the land surveyed prior to the start of your build.

Poor Quality & Short of Trust

It's been 4 months since we moved in, from multiple dishwasher leak to replacing floor in the kitchen, we've had multiple issues with the quality of construction. Especially the dry wall, sheet rock issues. Many corners are crooked & had to redo them. All the air vents had huge bulges which required cutting the dry wall & repairing them. It's been 4 months & the repairs continue & note that, all these were part of addendum during closing. Lack of communication & trust since the time we signed the PA. This home could have been beautiful. The layout, color scheme, location were all ideal. We have had nothing but trouble since we purchased. Water leaks, appliances that don’t work, landscaping is awful, poor workmanship throughout . Obvious that quality is not a top priority, but mass production is. My dream home has been a nightmare.

Considering what I paid for the property the workmanship on the house is poorly done! The materials used (i.e cabinets are cookie cutter, flooring is cheap) are of the lowest quality of builders grade material! Thus totally unexceptionable!!

Not getting all warranty items resolved.

Lennar personnel promised to resolve quality/warranty issue within 30 days of closing on our house on 30 September 2019. After delays, and in some cases, multiple attempts by Lennar appointed technicians, we still have lingering issues with exterior doors. We also submitted a Lennar warranty ticket on a cracked countertop in our master bathroom that still is not resolved. Ok now, but the process was miserable

We are in our new Lennar house, and like it, but it was months late with us in a hotel. Minimal communication ( none from actual construction personnel). Moved in finally with no certificate of occupancy, many items incomplete that took weeks to complete. The company does some things beautifully, but then cheapens it. For example , the bathroom tiling is gorgeous, then they put the cheapest lights and fixtures possible, mentioning that you change them you void your warranty.

1. Seller did not allow me to buy a home without signing Solar roof agreement. I was left with only two options, buy or sign for 20/20 plan. 20/20 plan is a hoax. ”First 20” indicates that it is a 20 year agreement. “Second 20” indicates 20% reduction in price per unit solar energy consumed from roof. In fact, instead of getting benefit, I am paying ~30% more per unit as compared to local grid. Furthermore, Solar billing is weird.
