This is my third Lennar home, and to be honest, if it weren’t for my commitment to the Next Gen model, I wouldn’t have purchased from Lennar again. The lack of customization options and the smaller yard compared to my previous homes have been quite disappointing. I’ve also experienced several warranty issues. While they are typically resolved quickly, the quality of the repairs seems to have declined in recent years. Do not use Lennar financing. Didn't offer any other products except 30 year for a 1 month bridge loan. Cost me several thousand dollars fir a point ad closing cost. Have your own financing Finding several cosmetic issues that need fixing. Response time for mediacom for an internet problem caused by chesapeak was awful Gourmet kitchen has no pull out drawers No ceiling fans or towel racks installed with spec house. Not understanding how they sold my loan to another finance company after I told them before they do that let me know and I will go to my credit union that was very unprofessional once they got the money for the house they didn't care about nothing else

Get an inspector and make sure Lennar fixes all issues found BEFORE closing. Lennar will find every excuse to not resolve any issues after the deal is done, even with the one year warranty

This was a horrible home purchase experience. It was hard to get a person to call you back. We had to do a virtual closing and it was awful, the first person we called at the Virtual Closing hung up on use when we didn't get connected fast enough. Then we had to find someone at Lennar who could tell how to get back into the Que since this was already paid for by Lennar. We couldn't ask any questions because it was just the notary on the call. Not a great experience. There are couple of builders who are arrogant and not professional, they dont respect the customer at all and dont listen to them

The sales team has completely gone wrong on day1, They gave wrong info on which are basement lots and which are slab homes and completely messed up the sales during 1st week. The Mortgage team communication was worst as they did not give the loan estimates in time and just don't respond to customer calls. The quality of construction is worst and not up to mark of Lennar. Overall Lennar failed to deliver a quality product from sales to finish line!!

The sales person was not helpful at all, most of the time she doesn't answer back or for the few times she did she was giving wrong information, my new neighbor had the same issue as well. Otherwise some of the floors in the house are not well leveled and also I fund some studs and trush buried under the sod and makes me question the quality of work and not trust your company. One good thing, the QA person who was in the final walk-through inspection was knowledgeable and had a good attitude.

Bigoted contractor with subpar craftsmanship

The GC (T) was very responsive in all emails UNTIL we met in person and, in our opinion, saw the buyers were a same sex married couple. From that point on he wouldn’t even talk to my husband and I when we had issues. He would only talk past us to the other Lennar associates. The drywall and painting company are beyond bad and there are many homeowners that are dissatisfied. I have worked in the production building world for 20 years of my 40 and have not experienced the poor quality and lack of professionalism of the drywall/painting company. Honestly, there were a lot of communication issues during the home buying process with LENNAR. I was especially disappointed with the construction manager Cody. There were several issues with the home that needed to be fixed. We brought up the issues during the walk throughs. Whenever we showed up, Cody was still working on the issues . It was disappointing to hear that Cody stated we were the ones delaying the processes when he could not even get his workers to fix the issues in the home. I will not call this experience a pleasant one. Working level team is not at all sympathetic towards buyer. They don’t have problem solving / reducing mindset. From day one things didn’t go in a professional ways. They collected all information from my agent and later on denied to pay any commission. This list is very long . However the above point was completely unprofessional. Construction quality is also having question mark . I have submitted few complaints but one of them is most important. It's a good community when you build your house try to keep the engineers who they are when you move them around there are a lot of differences in the construction of the house so there is a lot of irresponsible behavior from your engineers and to this day I still haven't got the key to my garage door key missing. John did not take my third party inspection report seriously. He brushed everything off and basically told me that this was not going to be a "perfect" house. Even for a new build, this house had a ridiculous number of imperfections and I was rushed into closing. Honestly this was my 3 home purchase but if was the worst of the three. More stressful, communication wasn’t good at all, timeline kept changing, walkthrough and final walkthrough did not repair a lot of things that were broken or damage. Plan to purchase again but it will not be with Lennar.
