Very disappointed with quality and workmanship

Honestly don’t know where to begin.. quick answer is that Lennar fits the exact definition of Quantity over quality. Don’t have the effort to repeat myself again on all the issues. Not to say there was not positive experiences during the process, however the negative over shadowed it. The most frustrating part is they were issues that could have been very easily corrected.

Great team to work with on purchasing a home! Very much appreciated all of the financial help with closing costs.

Had to accept the home as builder picked out, made the experience of buying a brand new home less magical. Thats why I gave 4 star overall, and 3 start for value for the price paid.

Good building partner during tough times with labor and supply chain limitations.

House hasn't finished yet, but closing costs were payed in december.

Very prompt to resolve the issue. I am very happy with Robert who proactively contacted us to fix the issue

I purchased a Lennar home, and understood that their would be issues with materials due to Covid-19. However, I was highly disappointed with the work and response to fix their mistakes. I still have a hole in the master bath, unfixed electrical, a broken front door, parts were stolen for other job sites, and more. Lennar’s motto is Quality homes built for you, which is a complete lie. I’ve had staff tell me well it’s a Lennar home, this is what you are buying. It’s pitiful to go and spend money on a residence and hearing that they don’t care about their work. I’ve had staff openly discuss poor performance with their contractors that “do not do a good job”. A unfinished house that you are forced to close on. With the Quality Director saying they wouldn’t move into the house because it’s not ready, with them proceeding to say, if you don’t close you will default and be forced to pay fines. Lennar is only about meeting quotas, rushing jobs, taking money, and not caring about their customers. Most of the employees would disagree face to face, but the fact is you are just a number and once you close their level of “care” is zero. ... More

Lennar homes are tasteful and good looking, they are built with quality materials and lennar staff especially Dale Balta is very responsive and professional

We were kept fully informed through-out the building process. Very responsive and pleasant at every turn. Great experience!

I would not say it was outstanding but our experience was very good. Improvement in your process could be made by far!!

i liked the design and layout of the house also the higher ceilings it gives a roomy felling

Once the house is inspected and approved for occupancy, it should be completed - ours has many issues to be resolved.

The home is good. A few issues that I can correct. The staff that were my main contacts were great. Some staff late in the closing process were not helpful.

This house is good I like it

I’m very happy with the sales person he was super professional and helpful. Sales person was amazing but I am very disappointed with the contractor or who is in charge of the construction A lot of work was not done on the closing date of property and still not fix after almost 2 months for example,A few wall in the house have to be fix, plumbing part, painting still not done, few lights at the hall of the house still not installed.

I would tell them to make sure to do a walk through before closing, the virtual walk through we got was useless as the building manager was not able to show most of the condo due to not getting good showing from iPhone this resulted in a lot of unresolved issues (hole in cabinet door in kitchen, pantry door not working , hole in wall in guest bathroom.) some of these issues not yet resolved and we close two months ago.

Lennar does, under no circumstances, care about its buyers. They knowingly (construction manager admitted it) cut corners to get homes done in time. They then fail repeatedly to schedule contractors to fix the cut corners. Sales is an entirely different nightmare.

The team should be more responsive on construction delays

Starting from signing the contract and till Closing the experience was awesome with Lennar. They provided timely updates and if there was any unavoidable delays they informed well ahead without any last minute surprises. Quite impressed with team work they do.
