Lennar did not fix items before our closing as promised. Much of the blue tape was removed even though the issues had not been resolved. Items are slowly being addressed via warranty tickets weeks later.

I was so excited to find a new Lennar Home for sale in Lockhart, Tx. I had a great experience when I'd previously purchased a new build home with Lennar in 2013 in Austin Tx. This time; however, my experience was highly disappointing. I've had multiple issues in my new home to include a significantly broken piece of wood trimming out my garage door that was simply nailed on and painted over. I've been advocating to have the inside of my garage door trimmed out, where there are two inch gaps running down the sides and in the corners. Lennar selling agent was unresponsive throughout the entire process! Issues at initial walk through were not resolved prior to final walk through. This was a model so I would have expected better quality from the beginning.

Poor experience through the whole process!

A lot of promises to get us in the house. No one knows what the right hand is doing through the whole process. Lack of communication with sells people to loan officer to contractors! Signing day shows up and no one from Lennar was there, called them and they said it’s normal for us not to be there for signing day that the title company will walk you through everything you need to know! Promise us some of our closing cost back and said, oh in the middle of your contract the state changed your closing cost and we can’t give you back your money! Should have had an attorney with us!

Lennar home quality and my experience

The finish work on Lennar homes is sloppy and the materials used are cheap. I have had to replace 4 lights in the 4 weeks I have lived in the brand new home because the lights are of poor quality. The front door is already coming apart and the dishwasher has a work order in to be repaired. The upstairs floors pop when walking across them. The materials used in Lennar homes are inexpensive and will not last the life of the home. I will have to spend my own money to replace all of the recessed lights because they are bad quality. These are things that should not be breaking in a brand new home.

Really a 2.5-2.75 star rating for me. I want to start by saying I really love the community and my home. I have found some of the materials and initial painting to only be so-so. There was some patch work done in our master bathroom that wasn't painted over just before we moved in. Not a huge deal, but as a brand new build you expect perfection and don't expect small projects with your home right out of the gate. Whenever there were questions or needs nobody was there to help. Concierge was useless. Lender left without saying anything before closing. Builders didn't even get permit for solar until after 30 days at closing. Francisco has been the only helpful person

Living a Nightmare and not waking up....

Overall Homebuying experience with Lennar has been a "nightmare". First they would not put in the right outside light like "every other house" on my street has, they told me there was a blue print change but if you go through the neighborhood you will see that my house and only 1 other has NO outside light like all the other houses. Then the gas leak that I had to find and had to have the gas company come out to fix. Then the water is running and the water company is charging me an arm in leg because the metor was broke. Lender doesnt put out information as necessary and Lennar Rep doesn't honor their words thats promised

If you buy a house from Lennar, make sure you ask questions all informations that you're confused on because they dont explain things to you to level that you'll understand it and they expect that your comprehension about home buying informations are same as theirs. Another thing, make sure you review all paperworks before you sign the closing or as the notary agent explain stuff to you because again, the lender doesnt put out information to where your "credits" goes to and ours almost didnt get all credited because of lack of communication from lender. Lennar has responded quickly, but after nearly 2 months many issues are still not resolved. The workmanship is poor, and we have been dealing with a very hot upstairs due to A/C issues. The price and location was good, but we have been underwhelmed thus far.

Lennar used to be much higher quality however now has cut many corners to save even the smallest amount of money. They are now a small step above KB even with their "Everythings Included" slogan. The reason I went through with the purchase was the financing incentives.

I was excited to do my first house build - a dream achievement! However, this was not the new home buyer experience I expected from a touted national builder. Lennar gets an "F" for communication - from my 'concierge' to the mortgage company to the escrow manager to the customer care team. Emails contain erroneous information, days and dates are incorrect. I bought an investment property recently from Lennar. Overall very bad experience, not worth the price I paid, I was talked into this by realtor was compensated on top of the regular commissions for selling a bunch of units over a weekend. They are allowing a huge chunk of the community for investors which is not ideal for the primary residents or investors. The house itself is a tragedy, the longer I live here the more horrible things become apparent regarding the "quality" of these homes. Wiring -Ask about the wiring, because they will skimp out on it if able. We got a lot of square footage for the money and a nice-sized lot. Some nice material selections and others not so much. Still waiting for punch list items from the closing (2 months now) to be addressed. Reached out to my contact and haven't heard back. We used to own a Truland Home (before DR Horton bought them). Lennar doesn't come anywhere close to that quality or experience.
