Hurry up and finish!

Upgraded cabinets were not cared for. After installation we saw several small indents,scratches and paint chips. Flooring was put in with three spot of red sharpie showing, can find a way to remove them without damaging the visual appreance. Sod was installed without any watering being done. Struggling greatly with that this summer. One of our trees died. ( Yes we watered it). Drywall screws are backing out like crazy. This is making painting nightmare. For almost $400,000. We thought we would get more quality out of it. Lots of headaches to go through this first year. Lots of short cuts ...

Overpriced tract home

Each day is a discovery of so Erving else not working correctly, having to deal with rude contractors, or experiencing an issue with trying to get resolve a repair that’s been “fixed” poorly. Also, this lot is way too close to other neighbors. When a contractor friend of mine stated, “when someone pays over half a million dollars for a home, they shouldn’t have these kinds of issues”, the response from the Lennar customer service manager, “Everyone is paying that price for these houses”. Does that mean it’s okay the workmanship is awful?

Lennar - Cheap stuff were used , like the paint very bad.

Cheap stuff were used , like the paint very bad. The grout already cracked in the bath tub. Other stuff. To get things fixed Is horrible.

In this area, spend more money with a builder who is known to produce a more quality build. It will be worth it and a better protection of your investment.

What stood out the most was the day of closing, there still was a lot that needed to be done.

We found a lot of mistakes and after being in the home for a few months we still see things that were not fixed but at this point, we are told that is cosmetic. We still have a big hole in our back yard which I've almost fallen a few times. Just received a letter in the mail that my CCD cost is going up and my monthly mortgage also went up. We still have no pool or playground as promised when we moved in but we have about 75 more new homes. Almost forgot to mention it took about two months for us to get a mail box and had to go to the post office every other day if we could make it before ...

Do not close unless home is “complete” correctly. We had a “punch list” of over twenty items not complete at closing and here now 4months later still many things not complete. Get a home inspection.

Issues were not addressed promptly, corners were cut on quality and some pieces were thrown together and not built correctly, like the island in the kitchen. The best part about this process was the sales person, Penny!

know you will have to spend lots of time calling and waiting for your issues to get resolved, and some will never get resolved even after they acknowledge there is a problem.

Don’t expect service after they have your money. We closed 1st week of Feb 2021 still waiting for them to complete work orders for repair or correction of items in build. Less then half have been completed or started. Items like door cracked, bad refrigerator, drywall repair. painting are just a few things. This is mid June 2021. Great place to live great lot. Extremely stressful when you paid for something you did not get and promises broken. Our Construction Manager was good then got overwhelmed with other new builds. Not enough help to take care of homeowners who already paid!

Underwhelmed by and disappointed overall

The beginning of the process started fine, the sales department knows how to pull emotional strings. Lennar’s tag line of “everything’s included” is only true for luxury homes. Every room in the home I purchased has issues with quality and poor installation, just barely to squeeze by the building code. Sod was laid over garbage in the yard and patched together with a variety of grasses. All in all, I paid for a roof and walls. There were no quality checks during construction. I had to contact the mortgage department (Lennar was the lender) twice as my HOA almost sent me to collections. The ...

Many issues with the home that still remain. Sloppy finish work that looks like it was rushed. Expected a lot more for the price and how the Lennar representatives boast about their product.

I did the walkthrough inspection in Nov. 2020 with issues of back door. I closed Jan 2021 and here I am end of May 2021 and back door STILL is not fixed by now needs to be replaced because of they’re 3 trips out they STILL cannot do right by me. The new homeowner of a NEW HOME. This has put a thorn in my home buying experience with Lennar

Trust with Lennar is a big question

I am an existing homeowner believed Lennar for best home home buying experience. However, it is not same after closing. Be aware of the promises. Do not blindly trust by brand name. Know the fact that there are very good other builders. If there is no other option other than going with Lennar, please prepare for nightmares.

I believe they hired the least qualified people they could find. I have had problems with so many areas of this house that I may try sell it before the one year warranty has expired. My neighbor's have expressed the same feelings that I have. The best part about this house is the neighborhood. My neighbors are great. And it's very attractive here. But the quality is terrible. It seems as though no one inspected any part of this house as it was being built.

Very sloppy work. On final walk thru, resistance to repairing damaged issues. Poor quality appliances, dryer broke down after 1 week. It took 1 month to have it repaired.

Poor workmanship, seemed disinterested when we expressed our concerns. The third stall garage stall measured smaller than on the blue prints. Therefore we are unable to fit a small car in that garage, which we had planned to do.

As a Experienced Homeowner I was Very disappointed with the builder’s team. Outside Financing, if at Possible regardless of the “Builders Incentive”it’s not worth it you will pay in the end. With a large down payment I still have a (PMI)! After you have finalized the purchase of your New Home your concerns will be slow with Repairs & Warranties. Not Timely! The concept of a NextGEN home is awesome, But the Quality of the building materials are Inexpensive and Cheap, (Cabinets). Small bedrooms and garage. Upgrades are sold to you as a packaged. The sales agent was great, other than that it is been horrible, material are cheap , craftsmanship is even worst. 5 months after closing the house still dealing with issues that were not addressed before closing Customer service is horrible. An unresponsive. At these point I am considering hiring a lawyer to deal with the issues In My house.
