Our closing date has been moved and no proper communication and the delay of everything though the documents has been submitted a couple months back before closing date. Travelling all the way from WI to CO for closing in bad weather and information on cancellation due to underwriting delays and the Sales responsibility and each of the persons involved was very concerned. The response of delays and the way staff communicate was not good . It’s kind of staff answering like you take or leave the agreement for the conversations which we have concerns about the insurance. It was overall pathetic ...

Home buying process with Lennar lender was not smooth lots of back and forth. Quality of home is just ok. Considering the amount of HOA fees I would expect some community amenities but there are none.

Won't service bad sod!!

Sod was laid dominant at the time. Once growth began weeds popped up. I was told nothing could be done. Also the sod was supposed to be rolled and two after close still not done . When the lawn service cuts they are making ruts and tearing up loss sod. Ruining the lawn!!

Not the best experience with builder mortgage processing

The home purchase was the builder closeout of remaining homes for sale, so everything was already picked out and the remaining homes were more like spec home with minimal options added. The process with the builders mortgage dept. was not a smooth process by far. After initial contact with loan officer all seemed to start well, but short lived. There were numerous times from just 2days in to the process & regularly thru-out the process many delays waiting for a call back, unknown where we were in the process, misinformation being sent and then only after attempting to fulfill and prepare ...

The Lennar team lacked communication. Any time we had a question it seemed like no one made time to respond or help us out unless they needed something from us; like sign a document or process a payment. Everything felt rushed and they wouldn’t accommodate to simple request we had during the closing process. Very satisfied with the house I bought, just disappointed in some of the communication skills.

We looked at the property the first week in February 2024. There were some issues we were promised would be completed at the time we looked at the property, for instance, the shrubs out front were dead and we were told that there is a 1 year warranty on the shrubs and that they would be replaced in the spring. We have now been in the house 6 weeks and called the HOA and were informed that they were not listed on the inspection report and that it was our responsibility to replace them. Also the cable was never completed throughout the house, Verizon said the builder never completed the fiber ...

Frustrating

Buying experience was torture. To many physical issues with house and property for the price paid. Quality of construction is marginal at best. would not recommend Lennar to a friend, maybe I would to someone I did not like.

The process was great and there helpful but the guys they got making these home they do a horrible job with the details is very sloppy and not clean.

Brandy was a horrible sales person. Customer service was horrible they would talk over you make you feel like you’re dumb when it came to paperwork When I closed on my house the landscaping was horrible. I couldn’t even take a picture because it looked so bad. On my final walk we were told they would replace the whole thing. I would never buy a Lennar home again

The quality and the materials used in the whole house are not the best standards. There are gaps, and unfinished work, and the materials used are very basic quality. Even the amount of time and follow-ups it takes to get unfished works done from construction managers is also humongous. If no follow-ups, nothing we'll be done. So a lot of waste of time even after paying for the house.

The mortgage and title company were both an absolute nightmare to work with, horrible communication, not disclosing things properly, and the layout of how things were going to work, were not at all in the order/flow. Everything was very confusing. This was the worst new home process I have ever seen. The new home concierge that we were told to contact never responded to emails. Mystic is the warranty rep, she has been awesome in following up and staying on top of items needed to be fixed (there has been a lot.) If I had only dealt with Mystic, would get 5 stars. Lennar is very hands off, they have little to no communication, on every side. Sales, mortgage and especially construction/warranty really do not make an effort once the sale is made.

Well, I can’t write a good review! Our irrigation system in front still doesn’t work! Our spa heater didn’t work for at least a month after we closed! The permits on the pool and pool cage and gas line were not closed before we moved in. We finally got ahold of Lennar Representative that helped us.. We were caught in the middle of Lennar and Holiday pool! You think you would want to make this process happy for people, we just bought a new home! Then you have to contend with warranty work! You never talk to anyone, just get on your computer and put in a request for warranty work!! Warranty ...

Been waiting on someone to come and fill up the utilities trench that sunk after a little rain. There's a big hole that stretches all along my back fence where utilities run. Sigh! Most frustrating, costly purchase I made. The Lennar mortgage was the most frustrating. Realator was ok. The warranty guys had some hiccups, but they were probably the shining stars in a full galaxy, but the 3rd parties they use are awful.

- Hard to find the right person to explain the detailed T&C in the contract documents. - No one tells the whole flow, and the progress. Many Lennar internal teams like Lennar Insurance, Lennar Title, Lennar Mortgage, are not talking to each other. As a buyer, I have to explain and reach out each one for any supports needed. - After the closing, not sure when and how can the buyer get the full set of official documents including the registered deed. - The construction team did the sod installation before the mutual agreed date without notice, resulting the huge extra costs and longer time ...

No attention to detail, I expect more. Faucets crooked, outlets crooked and not flush, upgrades are extremely over priced. While I will continue to live here, I would NOT buy from this company again.

I am very disappointed with my new townhome. LOTS of slipshod work and no attention to detail in making things look nice. LOTS of corners cut. I would not recommend Lennar Builders or my sales person. He never gave updates when he said he would and repeatedly would not return phone calls for weeks.

Too many bad examples of poor customer experience to list. Our Landscaping is a joke, The warranty system is awful to work with. I would not buy another home from Lennar if they gave it to me.
