Buying a new home through Lennar was not our first time building a new home. While Lennar promotes "high end" packages, they fail to look at the whole picture. For example, the bathrooms had brushed nickel faucets, however, the toilet paper holder and towel rings were cheap chrome. The brushed nickel bathroom lights are the cheapest builder grade lights. Our hardwood flooring is covered in glue, and they have not been responsive about getting it cleaned properly. Very dissatisfied with my yard. It has so many holes and bumps when it was laid. There are so many small things that wasn’t addressed after my walk and still waiting on materials to come in to fix them.

The purchase agreement process was the simple part in the buying process. After that everything was stressful. The home sales consultant was horrible to work with. Our home celebration walkthrough was not a celebration. Unfortunately our home was not ready to close. There was lack of quality work and the home was nothing compared to a model home. We had issues with the salesperson reaching out and coordinating with our realtor. He did keep us up to date on the progress of our house, which was nice. Upon coming in we had power pulled during the final walkthrough and the construction manager told us it was the electrical company’s fault. Turns out it was his fault for not paying to have the post replaced after it was hit by their landscaper. This was my second time buying with Lennar, and I was very disappointed. My first property/purchase was very smooth and good quality, but this time around things were subpar. I understand that construction has become more difficult since the pandemic due to supply chain issues, but the quality of the work doesn't also have to suffer. The entire home buying process with Lennar was just one headache after the next. Their sales team cannot communicate anything to you in a timely manner, causing delays and missing out on lots that are for sale. Lennar Mortgage is a joke and a waste of time. Let’s start with the delay in finishing the home because Lennar prioritized homes financed in house, thus causing my interest rate to rise. Then when closing happened the house was no where ready for move in and it was filthy. The dish washer wasn’t even plugged in. I would advise them to make sure issues were completed prior to signing on the dotted line. This is my third Lennar home and worst customer service experience thus far. Overall workmanship in house is good. Service after the sale and attention to needs has ruined this experience for me.

Overall, the building experience was very unprofessional and done with poor quality. There were several damages on the bathtub, refrigerator, dirt that was not cleaned, almost all kitchen cabinet doors were damaged and poorly repainted. There had to be constant pressure on them for it to be done correctly. Poor craftsmanship was present. They pushed that they be paid even when the unit was not ready.

Do not close on your home until everything on your punch list is completed. Hire a home inspector. We have had roof leaks, electrical issues with entire rooms, cabinets not completed (we are looking at months before this is done). The whole process with securing the loan and financing with Lennar was great and seamless. Once you get your keys and sign off on issues in your home you think will be fixed you hear nothing back. It’s like once Lennar got their money I was on my own. I put in three customer care requests and was “supposed to hear back in a week”. Well that was December 4th and today is January 10th. Ceiling Leak After One Month!

We came home from work to find our ceiling was leaking and caving in over our master bathroom. The home is a month old. We feel like we were tricked and are very disheartened by this whole experience. I am a first-time home builder and was not sure what to expect. I was always told that Lennar was a great company, but my experience here certainly hasn't reflected that. No one who pays what we pay for on these homes should be forced to put in warranty tickets on damaged or substandard materials in a brand-new home and then wait months for replacements or repairs.

At the time of the initial walk thru, there was no electricity, therefore we could not properly inspect the home. There were many issues with this home, that simply is unsatisfactory for the price we paid. I'm gonna be honest I love our home! It's a great location and something my wife and I are proud of! However the issues we need fixed still haven't been resolved.
