How awful the support and timeliness of fixing issues that shouldn’t even exist because of the poor workmanship of the builder

Do your research. I have been in my home for almost 4 months and still have things getting fixed. From a chunk missing from stairs to broken tile throughout the house. Poor workmanship seems to be a trademark of Lennar and the customer service is even worse.

Lennar - Low quality materials used and left the finishing work undone

Low quality materials used and left the finishing work undone and promised to be taken care of at time of closing but later they don't care. Keep putting work orders and they ask for phone appointments and virtual appointments but work not done and they close the tickets without completing it. Even the area manager don't respond to email sent. Really disappointed.

please read reviews prior to purchasing from this builder. They are not off. I wish I had. my comments are all based off things I experienced and NOT what I saw on a review. I didn't see a review until the closing and then realized I was experiencing just what was being described from multiple reviews online

Let me start by saying from the time I've dealt with the sales team all the way through to the Customer Care Team was a horrific experience. I bought my home in July 2021 and we are now in November 2021 and the defects in my brand new home have still not been completed. my bathroom shower pan was defected and it took 4 weeksand attempts with Lennar and Stewart tiling to completed the reinstallation on my shower pan. the time were poorly affixed after installing a new shower pan. I know now I would never hire anyone from Stewart Tiling or purchase a new home from Lennar. I really have to say ...

The Lennar purchasing experience has been the worst purchasing experience of my life. I have been buying homes, cars and other big purchases for the last 43 years and the Lennar purchasing experience has been the worst. The willingness of Lennar mortgage to ignore signed agreements for locking in the rate and charge a full percentage point over and above the lock-in rate, in addition to penalizing us with more than $3,000 for the higher rate, were just a few of the glaring issues. They advertised quality but sold me a poorly built low quality half way done place that was lacking quality control. Horrible workmanship

Escrow closed in June and here it is November and it’s still not right. Clearly built with no quality control everything was handy man inexperienced labor. Cheap labor unlicensed contractor workers

Sorry, when reading this, the truth hurts. limiting the ‘truth’ from reviews is quite rich and unethical business practice. This is the one of many reasons why I ensure to tell everyone I know not to do business with Lennar.

The quality of materials and specially the workmanship is way below the minimum standards. If I went back, I would go with another company. Low value for what you pay and I almost feel like getting catfished with this house. The original construction manager and customer manager were rude and refused to address all the issues. If you are in the market for a new build PLEASE look at the reviews on line for Lennar and PLEASE consider other options.

Windows separated from frame. Carpet cut short pulling away from floor. Walls are not straight. Bad drywall finishes. Doors don’t close right. 5 different shades of concrete, because they don’t know how to mathematics. Very poor workmanship for such an expensive house.

Every step of the home buying process was horrible. From the agent, to the contractor and now customer service won’t respond to us for a month. Every single person I come into contact with from this point on I will stir away from Lennar. Between the several realtors and businesses in our realm, we should be able to reach many of your potential customers to insure they do not make the same mistake we did by choosing Lennar as our home builder.

It was only about the sale - this whole house buying experience was horrible. It was all about the sale and nothing more than that. I closed on a house and was told that I had homeowners insurance and was even given a policy just to find out that my insurance was canceled two days after purchasing. To this day no one has taken ownership of what went wrong no one has called to apologize and I only found out when I went to buy new homeowners insurance. Lennar is terrible all the way around starting with local representatives. I have been in my home for over 3 months and work still needs to be done in my front yard. From the start we had to move in with out our yard having SOD in place. Our final walk through was scheduled the same day as closing day ridiculous! Items found that needed repair or touch ups never got completed and our house was turned into us dirty and filthy even tho I was told a cleaning crew would come bye to deep clean the home a Brand new home!

Horrible Closing Experience (Lennar Mortgage) and unfinished house.

After being closed for 5 months, one of our bathrooms still is not functional. The diverter valve which controls the flow of water between the tub and shower head was installed upside down which causes water to flow from both the shower head and tub faucet simultaneously. Weather stripping is still missing on the rear door (it was never installed). The list goes on and on. I would never recommend Lennar as a builder and would certainly never recommend using their mortgage service.

Not happy whatsoever. There has been multiple issues with my home. They have been dragging their feet on fixing them. The quality of workmanship is horrible compared to a house I sold that was built in 96. You also think they’d work on soundproofing knowing it’s a townhome community close to a highway, but no, you can hear everything. Their banking individuals during the buying process were also horrible, they dragged their feet and made promises they eventually broke and I ended up with a more reputable institution. Requested my preconstruction meeting 4 times, IN WRITING, never happened. Was not able to do a pre-sheetrock inspection despite asking for one, they put the sheetrock up anyways. Horrible Quality , customer service, and the Vice President of Sales - John wanted to even try to fight and he became angry by clinching his fist and grinding his teeth and became aggressive in his stance and tone.
