The whole Lennar experienced was a disgrace. Lennar did not communicate well with other Lennar employees which made my experience a bad one. From purchasing, workmanship, and responsiveness have greatly made me put this business at the bottom of my list, due to the fact they don't care about their customers, nor timelines to get things done. Highly do not recommend anyone ever buying from this company cause they are really just out to get your momey.

Difficulty getting earnest money back when not qualify for loan.

Didn't qualify due to not meeting the FHA requirement. I asked Lennar to send my Earnest money back. It has been weeks and still waiting. Only thing I got was they sent me a document to sign that said Refund back to buyer: $0, without any explanation. I did not sign it and am still waiting for my earnest money. I am writing this review in hope that someone can make this right

Our salesperson didn’t know what was going on, i had a different person for every step which was annoying, I want one person to deal with through out the process! Terrible company and miss managed badly. Thank goodness i had my own realtor to help deal with all the different people at Lennar. I’ll never buy another Lennar home. Oh nothing is square in the house, I’m having other work done and there having to make adjustments to install things because nothing is square. Cheap track built home

I have been in this building for a month and we have an electrical issues with the breaker since the beginning of the closing. They have already changed the breakers 2 times and it has not solved the issue there is still a problem. It hasn't been a month, we have a leak in the sprinkle system which caused us to have a large amount in the water bill. We also just had a problem in the floor lamination. This really frustrates me to the point where I have to fill up a different warranty claim for a different problem every single week.

This was one of the worst homebuying processes I have had to go through, I feel the employees are incompetent in some departments and making big mistakes with numbers that caused me to change my loan type at the last minute, change my move in date, change my mortgage payment, and it was just an overall bad experience.

The microwave was not installed for our inspector to check it. They installed it last minute and left 2 screws out and unaligned. They didn’t let us blue tape the house and A LOT of the issues we asked to be fixed just weren’t. The construction manager worked by himself to fix those and we had to come back the same day to approve it. Overall, the quality of the home is not good. The construction manager is extremely passive aggressive. Multiple issues upon moving including massive unfinished hole in pantry wall in which ants swarmed the kitchen less than a week upon moving in. Leaks in sinks. Problems with scheduling people to come out for repairs. The people that have come for repairs have been polite and overall helpful, however, in a new home these issues are disappointing. These are on top of the lack of communication from sellers and mortgage and issues that my realtor has never seen. And losing home insurance because Lennar never paid the first prior to selling installment.

Unfortunately, we had the worst service and now can’t get anyone to help communication by sales rep and managers was awful I am waiting still til today for Greg to call me who is hire up in sales it’s been death ear on top some one after paying homeowners insurance hippo cancelled insurance due to Lennar agent requested it very bad service all the way around had to live out of hotel with kids lost 2,500 was told I would get reimbursed and never did guy sold me a home he wanted and we had no choice than to loss more money

The process of buying the home was not a smooth purchase at all. Our Lennar rep put us in a bind even though we had brought up the issues in advance. The construction crew left a mess on the exterior so I was having to pick up paneling boards and other materials that were left behind. I wear braces on both legs so struggled to bend over to pick up heavy paneling. They did not level out the top soil before putting the sod down and we had asked for this. Simple mistakes lead to big problems

The sales associates filled out our contracts incorrectly with simple mistakes and would not correct them when they were pointed out. Example incorrect contact information. They along with the mortgage team gave us understated estimates due to interest rates that did not match the offered interest rates. This was also not corrected when it was pointed out. 1. We expected Lennar would install top soil and follow SAWS guidelines when planting it, as Paul Canyon is served by SAWS. Instead, in less than 48 hours, our grass died although we watered it following SAWS rules. 2. Lennar sales representative sold us the house assuring us that the sod would be planted to the fence and later we found out that was not the case. She either misinformed us or plainly lied.

If I could go back I would have never bought a Lennar home. To start they act like they throw all these extras in when in reality all the homes come with them. When I walked through the home the first time there was a beer can on the kitchen counter (screams quality). You could fill up multiple pages with the amount of repairs they had to make initially. Of course now that I’ve closed I find things pretty often that were poorly done and now it’s too late for them to repair it. The carpet is coming up in a lot of the corners, especially the stairs. This is my third lennar home. I have referred many friends and family to this builder and will never again and will never purchase from lennar again. The sales department doesn’t care about customers and just cares about numbers. I will say the team that actually addresses issues after your purchase with repairs to your home have been pleasant and responsive. Workmanship and features included have definitely scaled way down since our last lennar purchase in 2016. Buying experience with Lennar is just painful from Loan process to closure. Lack of information and so much of confusion created by the Loan officer, Insurance and everything enroute including closure with so much confusion on when is closing until the day before. So many issues even after closure that I couldn't rent out for a month just to fix the umpteen number of issues that took repeated tickets to be created for AC etc. The only one that I should recognize for being better is Mike on the maintenance side that raised prompt tickets for resolution despite so many repeated occurrences.
