After spending about two moths in the home, we are more and more disappointed in the quality of construction at this location. We installed a ceiling fan in the master bedroom, went to the breaker box to turn off the switch and couldn’t get the power to the switch off despite turning off every breaker in the box labeled for outlets and switches. Tried to install a storage unit in the garage that hangs from the ceiling. Seems pretty basic rafters are supposed to be 16” on center. Well these ones are 24 which must be the new code. MASSIVE EROSION, lack response to latency soil compaction

During our final walkthrough, plastic corrugated pipe placed to drain water runoff for entire block. Was told they were permanently, upon closing pipes removed. 2 days later rain and sod soil washed down 3 yards above. Result 3 catch basins plugged with silt. Undermining foundations. They immediately repaired only the areas where future runnoff would affect the unsold homes. Constant battle

Quality is definitely below what we were used to. Previous Lennar home you can see was built with higher standards. Floors squeak everywhere upstairs. Doors are thin as paper. Front door I can see through to the outside barely has weather strip. The wall moves when you pull on one of the sliding glass doors. Dry wall is barely finished. 2nd floor moves when kids run across it.

Thus far I have encountered many issues with construction failures in my new home. Issues such as crooked walls. Missing components. Central air and heating problems. Flooring issues with instalation flaws. No windows screens to save lennar money. Front yard still has installation failures, it appears as if they just went on to the next job and forgot about it. It seems that they were trying to get the work done to sell the house. The workman ship was very poor. We had to walk this home 3 time and items were not addressed as of our purchase date. Items still need to be addressed with us living here. The door opening from the outside and the hinges on the outside of the door is very unsafe as well. Someone could just knock the hinges off and come into the home.
