Lennar Financial Department and Real Estate Agent where Amazing. Title company Bellamy was horrific, caused multiple issues and were not accountable for there actions. Lennar Build was well below expectations and still has not completed outstanding build issues. Tried to push off on warranty and not close actions on punch list that was created to close with open actions. DO NOT CLOSE WITH WITH ANY OPEN ACTIONS. We have known many people who have purchased a Breland home in our area and were happy with the quality and process of building their home. Shortly after we contracted to have them build our new home they sold out to Lennar. We were told that it would be seamless and nothing much would change. in our experience, everything changed. We thought the superintendent's job was to oversee the quality of work being done. Many obvious items were completed incorrectly or poorly and had to be fixed based on our request. Overall sales process was a chaotic experience including the walk thru process. Then after move-in, we uncovered many defects/poor quality workmanship. Management should help address reported issues in a timely manner. Lack of responsiveness from warranty/maintenance team.

The construction manager is just in a rush to get it over than releasing a quality product. I find huge number of issues on daily basis and have to keep raising tickets which is really overhead for me.

Quality of the build is much worse than a few years ago; pressured into closing even when home had many unfinished or damaged parts such as no mirrors/ shelves and broken windows and cabinets. After closing, very hard to get a timely response on warranty request to fix the problems. Would not buy another Lennar home again

We were out of state buyers. I wouldn’t recommend using Lennar if you are in a similar situation. They are not equipped to handle you properly.

I really hate to speak poorly of any company but I do wish that someone has warned me about Lennar. They are a big company building lots of houses and it’s easy to get lost. They have lots of small divisions each of which own an element of your selling/building/closing experience. It was really hard to know who to call for what or how to get updates (we lived out of state). The final walk through and resolution of outstanding issues was terrible! I can’t recommend them in good conscience.

The model home (McGinnis) and our builder rep (Suzette) brought my wife and i to grow fond of Lennar. We had a great first impression however, soon after little things start to make one see it’s not that great. The process and stages of building the home are subpar at best. The trades are awful. Lennar’s business model is flawed. To allow a customer to watch and entire house built from the ground up and not allow them to meet their general contractor to discuss building issues is a complete lack of care for any customer relations. My experience from start to competition was not experience I ever want again. When buying a home for 1/2 million dollars, You expect it to be finished before being pushed into closing. As for items not completed. Light in master toilet, Broken bricks summer kitchen wall, Electrical panel wrongly labeled to breakers,Handles on sliders taken from show home, master bathroom cabinets in wrong location. Still waiting for laundry cabinets 7 weeks in. I certainly would not recommend Lennar to others.

We closed on our home on August 30th with three pages of items that still needed to be done on our home. Now seven weeks later, we still have atleast 2 sheets of items still not complete. There has been very little follow up. I do work from home as an real estate appraiser and realtor, but I still have appointments and things I need to do. I have had to stay home atleast 10 days for people to come do things on my home. I have also had contractors knock on my door without any advance notice given at all. Erik the salesperson and Jaimee the site person are the only 2 Lennar people I give 5 stars. The warranty dept has been bad. The finish work is horrible. Hopefully things improve. Still no dishwasher after 6 weeks when they knew day one it had to be replaced. Hot water heater has been a problem from day one. Still don't know if you're getting a hot or cold shower. I understand the hurricane may have caused some delay, but this is ridiculous.

The lender was very non responsive - until I went with an outside lender, then they were in contact daily trying to get my business back. There were several problems in the house before and after closing, including shoddy workmanship and poor attention to detail. For example the house was clearly not cleaned before closing. To be fair, out of my list of about 15-20 items needing to be addressed they took care of just about everything timely and well done.

In the seven weeks since closing, have had an electrician in the home three times fixing an obvious mis-wiring issue (no lights can come on in one room unless lights on in another room) and two electrical boxes that were backyard-rigged with no to code. Have also had support out to fix the water heater, fix property drainage issues, for windows that needed fixing, and still waiting on doors to be fixed (on a month long waiting list). Where do I start... We purchased a new home by Lennar while it was still under construction and there's been countless issues. They are non-negotiable on closing dates. We were out of the country on their proposed closing date and they did not care and did nothing to help us out to get the closing date moved by a few days. We have only been in our house for a month and a half and have had to put in multiple work orders for loose floor tiles, a tub being clogged from construction materials, our closet shelving literally falling off of the wall, etc. They work with companies that don't show up ...

We had so-called celebration two weeks before closing, we found about 10 items that needed to be addressed. Nothing were done during that two weeks. Day before closing they promised these were going to be fixed right away. Had to leave the house for one week for ceiling repair. One of the worst experience we ever had with Lennar. We had a bad experience dealing with salesperson Melinda to construction lead worker Louis said they would take care of the stuff but never did. We found a lot of water in the crawl space and pointed out sidewalk concrete damage during the construction workers. They trick us into accepting the defaults in the house and convince us they will take care of it but once we close the house they leave us in the dark. Honest advice we would not recommend anyone to buy from Lennar .

Purchasing: the house was appraised for 20k less than listed, which is a positive. Our financing representative convinced us to negotiate our offers, until we met at 5k over the appraisal. We later discovered, through our realtor, that she has never seen anyone pay more than $500 over appraisal. We definitely felt swindled. We had a very bad experience with this property. We did online closing and later when we visited, we found the grass Sods completely dead and it was never watered. When enquirer about this with Lennar, they said the property is closed and it’s not their responsibility and also it will not cover in warranty as it’s outside. We also saw cracks in window and a big hole dug in the backyard which we reported and the response was snail paced. Really bad customer service and carelessness on part of Lennar

I been thinking about weather I should or not write a review but as I get to know my neighbors and we talk about our experience I think I should. Our closing experience in both the construction and financial aspects was not ideal. The construction manager was not very helpful and the quality of his work was not up to par. We have been constantly submitting claims for repairs. Builders excuse to things not getting done at closing was “because of COVID the trades are not as good”. I tell you the prince of a house has not declined but quality sure has.

I'm disheartened as I encounter the cheapest bottom of the line appliances. Walkway in poor condition, pool not opened as the season is moving on.
