The responsiveness of repairing the front porch cement patio is still pending. It is the first thing people see when visiting. The pointing fingers and blaming us for not putting this on the initial list of things to repair is outrageous.

I hope you don't get the same lady we had. She lied to us several times. The other people we dealt with were ok. Lennar cuts so many corners that produces a sub par quality house. The fences are complete crap. interior paint is horrible. I would not recommend buying a home from them.

John did not take my third party inspection report seriously. He brushed everything off and basically told me that this was not going to be a "perfect" house. Even for a new build, this house had a ridiculous number of imperfections and I was rushed into closing. Even after moving in, I have submitted over 4 warranty claims, and the Lennar representative just tells me that everything is not covered. I have a garage door that doesn't close, an A/C unit with a bad filter after less that 60-days of move in, and so many more issues. Disappointed as to how unprofessionally Lennar handled the sale. What was stated and what was said were not correct. Extremely disappointing to keep getting feedback that this is not a custom home, so we need to expect this poor quality of work. Cracks in the tile and imperfect paintings and not aligned walls....first time buying a Lennar Home....maybe the last time too.....

Worse home buying experience

Honestly this was my 3 home purchase but if was the worst of the three. More stressful, communication wasn’t good at all, timeline kept changing, walkthrough and final walkthrough did not repair a lot of things that were broken or damage. Plan to purchase again but it will not be with Lennar.

I wish I could give a higher rating because I love the layout and space of our new townhome but we just had a difficult road getting here. The home buying process went smoothly until we took over ownership. Within a few days of closing our AC unit was stolen leaving us responsible for all charges. Lennar was very helpful in helping us find someone to replace it but it was an additional cost we did not forsee. Home wasn’t ready for me to move in, did a walk through with the superintendent and found a bunch of problems and was promised everything would be fixed in a week, which was a lie took over 3 weeks.upstairs floor still squeaks all over the place even though they claimed they fixed it

Lennar's workmanship is surprisingly sub par. This is truly a production home and that is what you get. There are such minor design features they missed that would move their home from below average to top notch but unfortunately, Lennar's home design team must be novices at best to have missed such minor things in their floor plans, at least in the many plans we reviewed. Lennar mortgage, the customer care team, the guy doing your walk through and the people who close with you are top notch. Lennar sales rep was completely worthless. Threatened us that we were going to lose our condo multiple times, gave no updates on status of our condo, why there were delays. And would only call with news two weeks after we got news from other people second hand. The only reason we stayed was because it would have cost us money to get out. Only showed up at our residence for literally 2 seconds after our walk through even though they told us they would be there hours before.

I can't speak on craftsmanship after only owning the house for 2 months time will tell. But while in process of purchasing the house I worked with Aurora, as my mortgage agent. The amount of incompetence I experienced was astonishing I had to resend the same documents 4 or 5 times I can only assume because she didn't read my whole emails. Even after the house was closed I had issues with her threatening me legally because I stopped responding until I finally had to break down the math myself to show this "expert" how bank accounts work the threatening emails and letters have stopped for now ...

We were not told that the home prices changed after so many other houses sold, so within 24 hours the price of our house increased $3500.00 and we were not aware of it until we signed the agreement. Lennar said, "Sorry, but that's our policy. The salesperson made a mistake." They still charged us the increase. Then we were assigned a HUB Concierge to help guide us through the transition to our new home. She was awful! She never returned one voicemail and always had an excuse for bad customer service. Lennar promotes "everything's included", but it's not. All of the ceiling lights are cheap ...

Terrible sellers agent

Had an absolutely horrible experience with the sellers agent in getting the unit that I wanted. The agent would not respond to my agent and then I lost out of 3 different properties I was ready to sign and go under contract on. There were no accommodations made which was ridiculous. I also had many issues with Lennar trying to play the role as my Lender making the entire process absolutely horrific. Due to this I will likely never buy with Lennar again, nor would I recommend.

A builder who will do anything to cut corners

Lennar is definitely a builder with multiple lawsuits against their name who will do anything to maximize their own profits, by building low quality products with no care whatsoever, like a lot of other builders. All I've seen is lies and fake marketing. Marketed this community as private and gated, while they sold our safety out to the city just to make more profits. One decent thing is the responsiveness of the staff.

I am not sure who designed these houses BUT they knew nothing about a 55+ community. Shoddy workmanship and an excuse for everything.

Horrible sales process

The sales person for my home was horrible. Had no clue what she was doing. Numbers were all over the place every single day. The mortgage and title people were nice though. But, no one ever gave me the exact breakdown of how much my payments were. Totally unacceptable. In fact, I am probably going to sell my house.

The most Stressful home buying experience ever!! Salespeople make promises that are not allowed by builder. Watch out for the sales gimmicks, they use sketchy sales practices.. I read the R&R's before purchasing with promises for a fence then the builder changes the docs. after submitting request for one. Lennar is not to be trusted. Love the location and floorplan. Unresponsive property management.

We had a laundry list of issues with our home and the quality of the work that was done. It was actually appalling the low level of quality that Lennar tried to pass down to us. My parents bought a Lennar home back in 2018 and my husband and I’s experience speaks to how drastically Lennar’s quality and customer service have declined since then. It’s very poor quality of the products , doors , windows , flooring , roof ceiling and appliances are very bad , on first week itself leak from ceiling , doors are already showing cracks , cabinets doors are in bad condition , appliances are not great , AC throw is low , stair cases are not properly assembled it’s giving lots of sound , in carpets nails are showing it up , garage door opener is old model not eve. After purchasing a home, it has ALWAYS been courteous of the sales/realtor to leave a gift basket especially since we are moving from out of state. We didn’t even receive a folder of suggested services. Our pipe burst within the first week we moved in and flooded the laundry and bedroom to where the carpet had to be replaced. That got fixed with 3 weeks of being inconvenienced. The sewer manhole is bubbling with sewage to the point where huge trucks are emptying it on a daily basis. We are inconvenienced AGAIN. 1. The drainage systems in the Edge of Auburn are terrible. I feel ripped off on my yard. It could have been avoiding by grading the land. 2. Concrete cracks 3. Weeds and bugs everywhere 4. First and foremost, I like my Lennar house. I liked the interest rate and the FHA down payment. As for Lennar, I have little respect for them as a company. They offered me an in person closing, then denied me one. They promised a small amount of touch up paint, then denied me one. Lennar homes are build with the cheapest materials available, by the cheapest labor possible, and with no evident skill or pride in the finished product. Lennar should be more than a regular construction company, as one of the best or the best in the country. We bought a Model house, good and bad, good that come with some upgrades that we cant get in other regular house, now the bad part is some of the stuff that is not correct or damage ( you name it ) cant be fixed BECAUSE IS THE MODEL WE DONT DO , this is ridiculous excuse, we pay more almost 100k for the same house as the others and get used / old stuff ... lennar REP very bad attitude, I'm not recommend to anyone else.
