I had Lennar build me a home in Liberty Village Goose Creek, SC 5/2020 and what a terrible unprofessional experience it has been. Do not allow them to con you into closing when there is outstanding work or issues that remain. They will tell you they guarantee they will fix your issues, and that problems are tracked by the Charleston office, and then blow you off as they did us after closing. Look them up in Better Business Bureau and Consumer Affairs. Their work in Florida is even worse than SC. Definitely go with another builder. We purchased a Lennar homeMay 5th, the salesperson was well aware of our wants for the home we purchased. We are unable to act on these wants since the salesperson never made us aware of an easement at our property along with 5 more adjacent homes. None of us were made aware of the easement until architechiral requests were submitted. The trustworthiness of the sales people are questionable. We have had to call the warranty people over the last 3 months for many failures in the building process. I have been dealing with an open issue at my new home since we closed on 10/21/2020. I have in writing that if the front and back yard does not grow correctly, Lennar will replace. I have a huge gap in my front door, I was told the part is on back order and they will get back to me soon. its been 6 months that we have lived with a gap that you can see daylight from, 6 months. they are unfilled holes in the front of the house above the garage, the front shingles were put on with very little workmanship! Demand to have access to every phase of construction. If you are an absentee buyer, hire a home inspector to oversee the project.

I have nothing but poor things to say about Lennar and I would tell people to NEVER purchase a Lennar home. The quality of workmanship and Material is below grade the house is way overpriced for the quality and products used in the home. There is zero trustworthiness, they have the worst sales people and construction people and they don't respond at all to any issues during the building process. They deserve much less than a 1.

Walls are off centered, basebroad are crooked, bad craftmanship all across the broad, all they want is your money; no one took the time out to make sure that the house structure is centered properly. It is a pain the be dealing with: toilets weren't flushing properly, dry lawn, spiders, ants, and bugs all over your home. cracked bathroom mirror, chipped bathroom tub, chipped appliances, long grooved on window, etc. It is a pain living in our new home and dealing with all these issues so early; no one takes the blames.....

This is our 3rd home we have built. 1st Richmond American, 2nd Standard Pacific and 3rd Lennar. From the purchase process to construction to workmanship to customer service we have had a horrible experience with Lennar. We thought we knew what we were getting into having built homes before but this was by far the worst all around.

Sales was great at making everything seem perfect. But the house we got had unpainted surfaces, bad craftsmanship, and cheap carpeting that’s falling apart. I would be wary of using Lennar again

Waist of my VA home loan

If I could do this all over again I would definitely go with a different builder. The home that me and my wife purchased was very cheaply built. I waisted my VA home loan and I wouldn't recommend anybody to buy a home from them. They use cheap contractors to build and fix things so you pretty much get way less than what you pay for. I've been complaining about different issues shortly after moving in.

I have had a horrible experience! The worst ever. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Within 3 months of owning home I have had 2 water leaks. One was my roof on a 5 month old home! I hate this home can’t wait to get out of it.

From the beginning of building our home to this day, I have had issues with building my home. It started with not being able to upgrade our kitchen, even though I was the first person to pick a lot in the new phase. I later find out that others were able to pick the upgraded kitchen. I then had a home inspector check on the home before drywall and found 30 plus items that needed to be addressed, which major items were not addressed at the time when it was easier for everyone, but later when drywall was already installed. If I could do this all over again and the house was Free I wouldn’t go Lennar!!! Save yourself the headache! Please go with another builder. I could write a book with how many things went wrong from the loan process to now . I bought my home nov 2019 and I still cannot use my master bedroom because of poor worksmanship DO NOT BUY LENNAR ! Truthfully they don’t even deserve one star.

Your survey arrived a little before 4:30 this morning, and shortly AFTER the Lennar contracted cement crew working on the lots behind our house. They were here at 4:20 am. I know these are extraordinary times we are living in, however, I don’t believe those circumstances warrant a pre-dawn work site start with loud equipment and lights shining into our home. Nor does it excuse the complete lack of follow-up communication from Lennar regarding our ongoing defective lighting, untethered toilet, & two missed appointments to correct our warranty issues. We found the quality of craftsmanship is marginal to say the least. Repair projects are still not completed after almost five months. As an example the holes in our outside gable were patched months later an now appears to be coming undone and we are still not able to use our two bathtubs due to improper installation. Lennar’s communication process needs to be restructured to reflect vast improvements.

We signed our contract for a new home in 2/2019 and were told that we could expect closing to take place sometime around mid-November. When we received an email that our closing date had been pushed up to 10/1 we were thrilled.
