Sales was great at making everything seem perfect. But the house we got had unpainted surfaces, bad craftsmanship, and cheap carpeting that’s falling apart. I would be wary of using Lennar again

I regret buying with Lennar every single day. Materials used for construction are extremely cheap. Customer service and guarantee suck: stay away from this company

Waist of my VA home loan

If I could do this all over again I would definitely go with a different builder. The home that me and my wife purchased was very cheaply built. I waisted my VA home loan and I wouldn't recommend anybody to buy a home from them. They use cheap contractors to build and fix things so you pretty much get way less than what you pay for. I've been complaining about different issues shortly after moving in.

I have had a horrible experience! The worst ever. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Within 3 months of owning home I have had 2 water leaks. One was my roof on a 5 month old home! I hate this home can’t wait to get out of it.

From the beginning of building our home to this day, I have had issues with building my home. It started with not being able to upgrade our kitchen, even though I was the first person to pick a lot in the new phase. I later find out that others were able to pick the upgraded kitchen. I then had a home inspector check on the home before drywall and found 30 plus items that needed to be addressed, which major items were not addressed at the time when it was easier for everyone, but later when drywall was already installed. Horrible a nightmare

If I could do this all over again and the house was Free I wouldn’t go Lennar!!! Save yourself the headache! Please go with another builder. I could write a book with how many things went wrong from the loan process to now . I bought my home nov 2019 and I still cannot use my master bedroom because of poor worksmanship DO NOT BUY LENNAR ! Truthfully they don’t even deserve one star.

Defective lights, 2 missed appointments & an untethered toilet after 90 days in our new home

Your survey arrived a little before ‪4:30‬ this morning, and shortly AFTER the Lennar contracted cement crew working on the lots behind our house. They were here ‪at 4:20 am‬. I know these are extraordinary times we are living in, however, I don’t believe those circumstances warrant a pre-dawn work site start with loud equipment and lights shining into our home. Nor does it excuse the complete lack of follow-up communication from Lennar regarding our ongoing defective lighting, untethered toilet, & two missed appointments to correct our warranty issues. We found the quality of craftsmanship is marginal to say the least. Repair projects are still not completed after almost five months. As an example the holes in our outside gable were patched months later an now appears to be coming undone and we are still not able to use our two bathtubs due to improper installation. Lennar’s communication process needs to be restructured to reflect vast improvements.

Worst new home purchase ever

We signed our contract for a new home in 2/2019 and were told that we could expect closing to take place sometime around mid-November. When we received an email that our closing date had been pushed up to 10/1 we were thrilled. However in walking it privately we found several items that were incomplete, so we documented them with photographs and sent the information to our sales rep; upon review the closing was pushed back to 10/15, understandably. I can’t believe you have the audacity to ask me to review my experience when we closed the home 4 months ago and my property still NOT done. Starting from our New Home Orientation the house was barely put together without appliances, forcing us to close because your fiscal year was due un November, not caring about the buyer experience whatsoever, to constantly argue with the incompetent staff for the things we already paid for and them arranging contractors to come to our property without consulting with us, having to lost weeks of work just waiting for someone to show up. 1. Customer service representatives have extremely poor service, closed service tickets with out get job done. Very lack responsiveness! 2. Quality of all kitchen equipments poor and malfunction, customer service has no knowledge of how to fix it and refused replace malfunction machine. 3. They did not kelp their promise to fix things before closing. And they even did not fix things after closing. Never buy new from them or will not sign closing documents only after they fix everything.

I purchased my home as is with 3 months left on the structural warranty but Lennar has denied every warranty claim. Bent metal roofing, missing chaulking around windows and siding, and squeeky subfloors in a 2 year old home are the unsatisfactory workmanship that Lennar refused to repair.

To much money for poor quality of the house

Since I bought the house I have had an infinite number of problems with the A / C, the heater, the gas, the quality of the cupboard material, the roof is opening everywhere, the patio is flooded every time it rains and many things more the truth if someone had told me that I was going to fight with all this I would have bought an old house ..

Extremely poor, cheap appliances, bad construction materials. No back-splash in the kitchen, guess bathroom is a sink w/pedestal (no vanity). Tile badly installed, plaster/grout on tile everywhere. This community is closed to a Land-field and bad odor is everywhere.

The quality of detail put into this house is one of the worse I’ve seen for a builder. You can tell they used some of the cheapest contracting companies around. When trying to correct this issues, you’ll get the run around for months. It’s been five months and I’m still trying to get them to fix items. It’s said that you pay a lot of money for these houses and your treated like scum. Document everything, because you’ll probably be bringing them to court.

Everything should have been fixed before I moved in and it wasn’t. Even stuff I showed them on the walk thru was not fixed. Already had a minor roof leak. Paid $400 for a professional cleaning and all they did was vacuum.
