Easy to work with and a seamless process.

The construction manager was in over her head. We had to battle to get defects fixed. The warranty people since we closed are more responsive. We closed almost 2 months ago and are still waiting for exterior trim painting to be done. The finish in the home is sloppy and the workers don’t care about the finished product because they are all subcontractors.

Cody did a great job of preparing the property prior to the initial new home orientation and even better job of completing the minor items we found during the initial walk thru.

The overload of everything Lennar was a nightmare; new grass layed on hard clay; high fee for changing HOA over to me with never ending fee for 60 plus years and no one controlling the rules or bylaws. Get your hands on the HOA bylaws before you buy wish I had. I will not be here in 5 years.

We had a great experience on both sales and construction sides so far. We are just under 2 months post closing. We might see issues later on but so far it has been a very pleasant experience

As a first time home buyer, the Lennar team made everything easy throughout the entire process. They answered all my questions either before I asked or immediately after I asked.

We had a home inspection done and, as expected, a few issues were identified. Most were minor, but there was a roof issue that we were told had been repaired after the first inspection. Unfortunately, it was not, and it ultimately took three return visits before the roof was fully corrected—each time we were assured the issue had been fixed. The other items were addressed over those visits, and everything was eventually completed. Our home inspector was very persistent and continued to follow up until all repairs were properly done, which we appreciated. Overall, we felt the home was a good value compared to existing homes on the market, and the interest rate offered by the builder was better than other options we had. However, the repeated assurances that repairs were complete when they were not made the repair process frustrating and left us disappointed with that part of the experience. ... More

Great overall experience and very helpful throughout the process.

Lennar Autumn Sunrise from start to finish has been very professional easy to work with friendly efficient on schedule and did an amazing job on our home - we would highly recommend you come take a look at all the beautiful models they have! Had a great purchase experience, from the first contact to our agent Michael he was very responsive, and available. He helped us with outside financing due to self employment issues.Robert at Guild mortgage was great and got our mortgage taken care of quickly.

The community is beautiful, however the home buying process through Lennar mortgage was beyond stressful and quite difficult. Our file was passed through multiple people and it seemed if each person had us start fe the very beginning of the process. So very stressful and irritating. There was a miscommunication as to what color scheme our home would be and upon our walkthrough we were promised by a gentleman covering for Brittany that we could easily change the color. Long story short, after jumping through multiple hoops, no response from texts sent to Brittany or her boss Cathy, we were the told today, that they will not be painting the door. Basically, we got what we got. Needless to say, we are not happy with that response or the way the whole situation has been handled. We simply wanted what was promised to us on our walkthrough. I’m a first time home buyer, but in my opinion this home is not complete. It’s missing medicine cabinets, towel racks, and the garage and attic trims are unfinished (holes/gaps). The small bathroom should be tiled or at least painted with latex paint. The hot water in the shower is immediate, however the water from the sinks takes at least 1.5 minutes to heat up, which is a costly waste! Heated air from the furnace isn’t distributed evenly throughout the house. The sunroom is very hot followed by the master bedroom and little to no heat in the bathrooms! There should be permanent labels on the water and gas supply/shutoff valves! ... More

home was a very good deal

Lennar's loan process was great! I moved across country and was on a roll getting everything moved in until it started raining here. I had a serious roof leak the first night it rained hard here which was only 2 weeks of me living in my new home. My third floor hallway was soaked with water and there was a small leak in my master bathroom. Water was coming out of my smoke alarm and ac vent in the hallway. I had to pretty much stop everything and postpone all my furniture and holiday plans to deal with this. And, I am still dealing with it a month out. Lennar's warranty team has been awesome so I am grateful for that! Very nice, responsive, and helpful (Lee and Bill). You would think the roof would be the most secure thing though especially in Florida. The leak in my master bathroom is still leaking and not fixed. I am still a little skeptical if the leak on my roof was actually fixed properly or just a temporary band-aid. Some of the workers they send out do not have the best communication. Some other quality issues; front and patio doors not sealed properly, paint peeling, bad caulking, bad tile work in the bathrooms. ... More

The best person we worked with was our lender Julia she went above and beyond for us. Beyond that every person I talked to did not seem to have a clue what was going on. When I asked sales questions the most common response was I don’t know. When we moved in we got a parking ticket before we even had access to work with the HOA. The HOA has been a nightmare ever since. We have fully purchased solar panels that two months in are still not even on. I can’t get a hold of Gaf the company to tell me what is the hold up. It’s ridiculous. We’ve had our warranty builder back 3-4 times for various small issues they are super responsive but we don’t like how many things we are finding that are wrong. We would not recommend this group for first time buyers, we sent our contract back 6 times due to discrepancies and errors. If you buy a Lennar home make sure you get it for a bargain the space is nice the build is ok but the people are a nightmare. ... More

First, the house number was incorrect. Completely different than the other homes on the street. House exterior paint was wrong. My wife had to point out both of these issues out to Lennar (they thought we were wrong until they looked further into it). Our dates for walk throughs were changed several times. Several repair issues that people were signing off as "ok". The icing on the cake was the day before close of escrow. Apparently Lennar wasn't and hadn't been very responsive to our lender/realtor (guess lennar is known for that). This led to us almost not closing on our due date. My wife and I ended up driving to Lennar's office in Fresno, which was a 2 hour drive, so that we could sign final paperwork and close the following day, otherwise we would have had to wait 3 to 4 days. ... Craftsmanship is definitely rushed. But to be expected in cookie cutter homes. Some corners were cut on some details but for the most part happy. Not thrilled when Lennar sold my mortgage they didn't inform me of this. I had to do some investigating myself.

Smooth and informative during process

We didn’t love the buying experience. We feel like we were just told what we want to hear when that’s not true. The painter spilled paint all over our drive way that still is there and supposedly will be fixed in the spring. The front porch was supposed to be fixed before we moved in as promised and it was not. A lot of cracks, the paint scratches so easily, wish they wouldn’t have put carpet in the dining room as now we have to remove it.

Really can't understand why you didn't continue with the fence when my neighbors have one .My mound of DIRT THAT'S SUPPOSE TO SOFTEN THE NOISE IS NOT TALL ENOUGH AND THERE IS NOT ENOUGH OF BUSHES ON TOP OF MOUND SO WHY U DID NOT COMPLETE THE PROJECT .I NEED HELP AND THE DESIGNER DIDN'T UNDERSTAND THE MASTER BEDROOM ON THE HIGHWAY WAS NOT A GOOD IDEA IT SHOULD BE IN THE FRONT I KNOW THERE WAS NO THOUGHT TO THAT

I had great experience with Lennar from the salesperson Natasha was great, to the Mortgage process, Jason was great! I’m so happy to own in a new golf community and I believe I got a great deal to top it off!!Highly recommend Glynlea Country Club and Lennar!!

Once we decided on the Almalfi, Ms Yockel provided info about the closing. Since we were paying cash, we needed a little extra time and Ms Yockel helped us set a closing date. A walk-thru with a construction expert occurred prior to close and any outstanding issues were resolved. We feel part of a community with families that we continue to meet!
