The sales manager was very hostile to me and showed zero human feeling to any challenges that the buyer has. His goal was just to get the property sold at the end of the month to preserve his bonus. This is the most inhuman treatment I have ever had from a seller of a home and I expected Lennar to do better.

Horrible experience with construction and walkthroughs

We had issues with our walkthroughs and continue to have issues almost 2 months after closing. Each walkthrough, construction issues were not addressed and more issues were created due to sloppy workmanship. We had a confrontation with the construction supervisor, Rob, and then he called the salesperson, Allen, while we were in the office to yell and cuss him out for allowing us into the home that we had already put money down. A crack in our kitchen cabinet was addressed multiple times and the same crack continues to come back because it was somehow caulked rather than replacing the cabinet. ...

Awful and very disappointed

Had a really bad experience, the sales person lie to us, was misleading and overall the experience was awful. The materials are cheap and the work is fast done, the pain the workmanship is poorly done and fast way done, when you are paying almost a half of million for your home you expect to be done properly, just very disappointed and will not recommend it to anyone not even my worst enemy

Make sure to check everything before closing. They will rush you saying you will miss the closing by promising we will do it later. After closing, they will change it saying you have to reach out to warranty team. This is ridiculous. Hvac switches are interchanged, light dome is missing. Backyard landscaping screwed up. Lot more to say.. Sales person involve in everything and when you say something is not right, the response is let construction team handles it. Shame!!

I recently bought a home with Lennar what started a smooth process quickly went sour.. As expected the lender needed a lot of information and documentation which was fine but as time went on they kept going back and fourth on what they needed even asking for forms that were not available and disregarding the documents I sent that had the information they were looking for although a long process and poor expectations being set I understand it’s a lot to work with but could have been made easier and more coordinated. It was difficult getting anyone when you needed answers to immediate questions, always had to leave messages and wait for responses. It was nerve wrecking to wait as needed answers to make informed decisions.

Construction quality is very poor. When issues are bring to construction manager he states that is going to be fix but most is not being done yet. My AC just stop working and contact the construction manages and he send a ticket to the company that install it, and now they are saying that I'm going to be charged for them to go and look what is the problem, I just move in and it is under warranty but still being charged. Disappointing build quality

I’ve been terribly disappointed in the build quality of this house overall. The whole house feels rushed. The garage was left in terrible shape. The drywall tape isn’t fully secured to the wall. They used mud to cover big gaps around light fixtures, windows, and calk around door panels. The furnace was labeled incorrectly in the fuse panel, which was discovered because it kept blowing the fuse. Everything started well, but there were issues at our 1st walk through that were never addressed. Windows and sliding doors were not aligned, chips in paint, chips n bath tub, chip in flooring. By second walk through things were still not fix Mark said check it off so you close and we will come fix any remaining issues…… Not the case the process to submit tickets is terrible and the follow up was worse. We’re misinformed by Lennar how Warranty works. Pit supervisor told us not to worry just moving three days after we move them. I told him that 75% of their repairs was never done and we would like him to send repair people to take care of the problems.. he’s answer was after you move in he cannot help us. We got to use the form from the website to let the repair people come in and start repairing a brand new house that was never billed, right

Horrible Communication from Construction Manager during closing

The house was not cleaned at all prior to closing, and we were promised that things would be fixed in the days after our closing. We still have not had anyone come to our house to touch up the damaged walls and paint issues. The concrete driveway has FOOTPRINTS on it from the construction workers, but Lennar says 'its within tolerance' so nothing will be done about PERMANENT FOOTPRINTS in our concrete driveway. Horrible experience and will never buy Lennar again. Also the sales agent Yatsi is among the worst sales agents we have ever dealth with. Totally clueless.

Third time’s a charm. If we hadn’t a realtor keeping us updated with weekly videos, we would have wasted two trips to Florida. The closing department and your contract ( I understand ) leaves little room for the customer. Our first closing walk through had no roof tiles delivered / installed, no brick pavers front and back, unfinished kitchen, no refrigerator, unfinished bathrooms, pool and of course no landscaping. I'm very disappointed in the quality of this home. My list of complaints is extensive. I have severe allergies and asthma. I spent $2,400.00 in the first month just to make the house livable. Drywall work was done in the master bedroom. The carpet was not covered and drywall dust sat on it for weeks. Every carpet in the house was covered in a combination of drywall dust, black dirt and sand. Lennar cleaned the carpet but refused to replace it. The debris did not come out so I had to replace the carpet myself. I found a nail sticking out of the slab that was underneath the carpet ...

We've a bunch of issues found after and before closing date. They were not addressed completely and getting them fixed is nightmare. Worst experience with both the properties that bought from lennar at garner & raleigh. Felt like never do business with this builder again!

Very poor communication from the Lennar loan team. Unresponsive to questions. My condo insurance coverage got canceled although Lennar insurance team sent me a confirmation enail of coverage. Still no response from loan agent.

I think before closing everything has to check 110% before you hang keys , also once keys are handed any issues should be taking care off ASAP CAUSE IF THATS THE CASE WITH ISSUES INSIDE HOUSE then I think should be a priority to get it fix and not have to wait 4 to 6 weeks to get it fix

An unpleasant home buying experience

Too many problems throughout the process. Starting out with many misinformation while dealing with the selling consultant. A significant amount of builder fee had not been told until after the down payment was made. Slow responses to requests throughout the entire process. Finance advisor was the worst, not being responsive, giving high mortgage rate and manipulating the closing disclosure to keep it high. When I look at most of the houses in the front part of the neighborhood, mine seens incomplete. area where there should be stone is missing. They never bothered to let us know that they had the keys to our mail box. Not very happy with there workmanship!!

We moved into our new Lennar home about a month ago. For the price we paid, I would expect the quality of the home build to be great but I have been sorely mistaken. The paint job is terrible. Some base boards were primed but not painted. It seems like there was only one coat of paint applied to the whole house and actually needs to have 2. There were scratches on faucets and cabinets. I did expect a new build to take maybe two months, but not more than four months from our original move in date per our contract. As nice as the people are, their attentiveness and sense of urgency are very much lacking. I am in finance and customer service. We all get overwhelmed. Make sure you get an independent inspection and all punch list items are completed before closing on the house. After market services are slow to get done. Look at paint and caulking for cleanup, painting is sloppy. Lennar Customer Care is a joke. They want to do virtual inspections, which does not tell the real issue.
