I’ll preface this by saying that I have base-level experience in construction and I’ve built a home with another builder before- so this is not my first rodeo. I will say that working with Logan, in the sales office was a pleasure. He was kind, informative, speedy, and helpful. So this doesn’t reflect on him. Overall had an experience I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Horrible customer service representative, who was so aggressive and self centered that she recommended to forget about our crying baby who just fell and hurt but focus on her as she needs to go. Every single request for issues is fraught back with not supported comment or do it yourself suggestion.

Kelsey in sales deserves 5 stars and was unfortunately the only positive part of our homebuying experience. Lennar clearly overclosed as all the homeowners we talk to in the Avion seems to have several issues. Our home came with multiple issues from the start that were identified during the walkthrough, of which several are still not fixed over three months later....let alone many additional issues found afterwards. There us no consistency within the Lennar teams which takes away from the process. The follow-up is poor, the workmanship is sloppy and everyone blames the last person when there are mistakes. During the walkthrough, I pointed out areas of concern that were not addressed when I moved in. The house was spot cleaned, ie. Maintance person is not helpfull they say every thing is warranty , construction manager Bill is zero helpfull, they gave my home with lot of patches in walkway they say everything is warranty and my attic door is also not working properly they say no warranty we brought a new brand home but its like second hand home. First I will start by saying that after talking to other buyers in the neighborhood, we are not the only one that feels this way. Multiple delays on our closing date with promises that were never delivered. We dealt with an absolutely rude construction manager that had do desire to listen or get anything accomplished, but was argumentative. We appeared to be more of a hassle to her. Beautiful homes with terrible finishes! There is no attention to detail. The skill level of the workers working on these homes is not great, to say the least. The drywall, paint and trimwork are the worst finishes. Lennar should have a better oversight of their contractors/subcontractors/sub-subcontractors. I hope this helps a potential buyer decide.

Lennar was on a strict schedule. They had hoped to complete the transaction by the end of November due to quarter closing. On the day of closing several things were not completed but due to Lennars reputation and buying experience I closed despite an uneasy feeling. I wish I had gone with my gut feeling. Holes and divets were found all over the house in the door frames, flooring ,and baseboards. These were pointed out during our first walk thru andmost were not fixed by the final walk thru. Paint drips were found all over the house.. on floors, walls, and doors. This was not corrected. Wood floor is just planks about an inch thick. Shower heads were cheap looking and there were no towel bars, hooks, or toilet paper holders installed in any bathrooms. I was so excited to buy a Lennar home! The process started out alright, but slowly went down-hill. The communication from the salesperson was lacking. The lady in the title office was rude. The home buying process was a good experience aside for the misinformation on certain processes. My biggest issue is the quality of the build itself. The worst experience one can have, bought this house for more than $1M and the quality of the house is extremely low. The customer service and warranty services are disaster, vendors takes months and months to even address the issues those have posted even prior to closing the escrow. I have purchased houses through other builders and I could see a big difference in the quality. As a retired building/remodeling contractor from New England, I was shocked at the poor quality of workmanship and construction oversight that went into this building. Construction flaws and short cuts were only discovered following hurricane damage that never should have happened if a better quality roof vent had been used. Many delays. The day of closing so many items were not finished. Was asked to sign a document that they had a final inspection but they couldn't provide a Ceretificate of Occupancy. The quality of workmanship is far below construction standards, especially for the money they are sellling these units. Punchlist was over 30 items and 2 months after closiing no attempt has been made to address them. Had to complete some of them myself in order to make the unit livable.

Waited on fixing items after closing and then informed me I had to go through the warranty side. Many items wrong are amateur items, holes in walls, paint on tile floor and rugs, knobs on kitchen cabinets don’t line up, sensors missing, openings in garage, a/c draining into the garage, weather stripping left off the external doors, house never cleaned and I could go on. Not one item has been repaired, it’s been 45 days. Talked to other owners and some of their problems are worse than mine and still waiting on repairs!

The construction manager did not closely monitor the work of any subs. They are basically just inputting requests and scheduling. The trim and painting on this house is the worst I have ever seen in new construction. Pages of followup needed.
