We just purchased April 2020 and sold April 2022 a new build Lennar townhome in Prior Lake, MN, that experience was great. The attention to detail, commitment to follow here in Punta Gorda, FL is horrible. I booked a flight and the Lennar team was completely aware that I was flying down for a scheduled walk thru August 22 so we could close by the end of August. I walk in and could not believe what I was seeing, no appliances, vents not installed, no weather stripping on front door, garage floor not done, closet doors not hung, closet shelves not hung, filthy dirty outside and in. Lennar was very pushy to use their mortgage company from the start, making the process super difficult when we decided to use our outside lender. We moved in in early August and different color cabinets were installed in the kitchen, still hasn’t been replaced. There’s rebar sticking straight out of the foundation above the grass. The sod next to our AC unit that we were told was going to be put in was never done. The AC didn’t work correctly for the first two weeks. I had to pay 500 dollars out of pocket to have an electrician come tell me the ground and neutral in my dryer power outlet ...

Horrible experience. If it wasn't for the good Floorplan we would have walked away! Very very poor workmanship. There isn't a wall straight in the house. No craftsmanship. Don't buy Lennar!

We moved hoping to have a peaceful retirement home. While our Salesperson was very knowledgeable and did her best with purchasing, Construction was terrible. Our cabinets were installed crooked, cracked, broken due to lack of skill which caused our Stone to be unlevel. Our hood vent never showed up so they borrowed one from a different model that didn't fit. Love our home but the workmanship and attention to detail is not good especially for the price we paid. Totally feel taken advantage of and Lennar has not been responsive at all. Our construction manager did not do a great job and was MIA with most of all of our problems during the process. Again, beautiful home but not a great experience at all.

The price that I paid for the house that I got doesn't match. The quality of workmanship is very poor. It's not just one area, it's everywhere. Foundation concrete has stains, colors on the porch (from and back) both are single coats that can last one year. The second floor is uneven, the walls are not perfect at 90 degrees. Delay is build may be common for builder, but that cost buyer a higher mortgage rate. That is not it, if house is closed with pending lawn work money to be deposited to escrow is buyer responsibility if buyer don't go with builder recommended lender, so kind of CHEAP trap.

As soon as I moved in, a huge leak occurred in the master bedroom shower that caused a lot of damage and the response from Lennar customer service was horrific! The workmanship is terrible it looks like they just cut as many corners as they could. The paint job is horrible, it looks like they did one coat of paint and didn’t do it well you can see white spots everywhere. Builder was okay to work with. Lack of organization when it came to my closing date due to not having my CO which caused closing to be moved several times. Because I signed a materials shortage addendum some of the materials did not seem to be of equal value as to what was in the model. Mostly pertaining to the showers in the home. Since moving into my second Lennar home, I have lost all confidence in your workmanship and follow-up to building deficiencies. It took about six weeks to finally get a dishwasher that worked after being given a model that was no longer even sold by GE and they couldn’t find a replacement part; I’ve had multiple doors actually falling off because the screws used are too small (I’m afraid to let my 8 year old near them in fear of them falling on her head!) and these are still unrepaired (4 months and still waiting).
